In response to your PM, I find it necessary for my character to be at this level of power. Think about it for one second--it's not entertaining for me to get curb-stomped by you guys every time, and it's not enjoyable for you guys to have a foe that you can just kill in one post. Instead, I would have the challenge of fighting off multiple, skilled opponents at once, while your struggle is to take down the single, extremely powerful one.
I don't see why it's such a problem. Obviously, as all good storylines go, your characters will--eventually--either equal or surpass mine, and the final battle to determine the fate of the planes will take place. If the main villain is some pushover compared to the infinite power and wisdom of your characters in the very first fight, then it's going to be a VERY short storyline. In fact, Day of Judgment was my escape strategy. By the way you and Draven make your characters act, you're both under the impression that your characters are the strongest in the roleplay. The fact that Draven's cute little 'humming' was able to 'move' pure black mana is ridiculous, especially when it was being directly channeled by my character, and was even in direct contact with him.
So, basically, my point. Having no real, significant bad guy will make the story uninteresting. XD I don't mean to be an a**, I just have a very strong view on roleplaying.

There already is a main bad guy. The Primdark silly! It nearly killed Mokuzai! the primedark is just beginning to wake up. And so it's still a little groggy and animalistic. but soon it will see us and begin to direct attacks upon us. what I think you want is to become what is called an Emissary of the Primedark. think of it like a priest of the apocalypse. They go to a plane and preach of their coming doom. Just remember, they are still flesh and blood and can die. However, upon their death, they usher in the death of that plane and are re-absorbed back into the Primedark where they are re-made and placed on another plane to kill. (re-read the first post to see an Emissary at work.) It isn't an overwhelming power you control, it is much more subtle and malicious. Unnerving and manipulating rather than "I kill you with a massive blast of darkness"
I dunno, I think if you want to be an antagonist, this is the road you should take. Lilli is just a planeswalker after all.

Nah. If there are already emissaries, I'd rather just do something to my own ends. Hence, the "Two obstacles" theory. In order to create more adversity for your characters, I create a powerful character to fight you. This spurs on more battle and character development, no?
So, my strong character is basically the second of two obstacles that your characters have to overcome.

Then you will have to beseech Yawgmoth or Bolas for backing, without a reason as to why you are stronger, you are simply a planeswalker. You can't simply come into an RP stronger because you are a secondary bad guy. It makes no sense. If you don't want to be an Emissary, and you want to be so much stronger than the rest of us, you will need backing. I won't allow anything else. I'm sorry.

Hmm...I think I'll go with Bolas as well. I'm kinda new to Magic, so Bolas is the only one of those two that I recognize.
Well, I just cast DoJ, so that'll give me an opportunity to go side with Bolas as well. Then I'll be good to go.
And you make it sound horrible. I'm not trying to be a god. I'm trying to set up the storyline in a way that's a lot more interesting.

WOAH, I missed a lot.
Anywho, I would like to get back into the story, I just feel very limited playing Ren. He's not my style. If it's OK with you guys, I'd like to create a new character, one who's actually got a personality I can get into. I tried to play a harder character and it sucks. Perhaps a white/blue lady wizard from Minamo. I dunno.

Huh, I thought Ren had more potential. However he is your character and yours to control. If you don't want to play as him it's fine by me. Post your new character sheet in the Characters thread and label Ren as no longer in use or Dead if you like.

Thanks a bunch. The guy was a total creep. The character I had in mind is still a challenge mind you. She's mute! also, would it be OK for her to have had a past relationship with Moku?
Character name: Shizuka Yukiko Character Pic or Description: Shizuka stands at 5'6. She has long silver hair that she keeps tied up in a severe bun in the back of her head. Her face is beautifully shaped with a smallish nose and red lips. Her skin is pale, and her hands are soft. She is usually clothed in a blue kimono with white and gold patterns and sash. She carries her sword in a downward clip sheath on her back, as she uses a reverse grip when she has to draw. Sex: Female Age:46 Sword Name: Katsumi Primary Color: Blue Secondary Color: White 3 Schools of Magic: Null magic, Purification, Mind Manipulation Plane of Origin: Kamigawa Back Story: Being mute from birth, Shizuka grew up determined to prove herself even if society tried to shun her for her deficiencies. Being of a demure physiology, she devoted herself to the study of magic. At age 14 she was recognized for her exceptional gifts and sent to Minamo Academy, where she spent the next 20 years of her life. While there, she developed into a lovely young lady. When bandits attempted an attack on the school, Shizuka proved herself above and beyond the other students and even teachers at the academy, defeating entire groups of bandits using a combination of mind control, null magic and her knife. Because of her deficiencies, she became quite a rival to many people in the school. many saw her as not only a gifted mage, but an insult to their own intelligence. She came to Shizuka after the first assassination attempt. Shizuka left after that. Never to return.

Sounds like a blast. Just be careful with the mind manipulation thing. Go ahead and post her in the main character thread. as for a past relationship. I say we should take it to PMs, so as no to spoil anything for anyone else.

Suggestion: We make different threads for the different planes. If we all try and post in one thread with multiple planes, we're gonna mess each other up pretty badly. D:
By the way, which plane is Bolas in?
