Yawning softly she blinked open her rich amber eyes, gazing out across the moon-lit sands from where she had curled up in the entrance to her den. She had taken a short nap in the late afternoon and now that the sun had finally dipped below the horizon, it was time for her to put her plan into action. She had realised some days ago that she was missing out on a whole world of possibilities.. as a lot of the creatures she met on her night walks did not appear during the day, and even some of the flowering plants only bloomed in the darkness. As a healer she felt almost ashamed that she had been ignoring this other world when she searched for herbs ad ingredients to use in her remedies, so she had hatched this plan of hunting at night.
Finally raising to her paws she shook her hair from her eyes and the sand from her coat before quietly catching up her 'basket', an old sea turtle shell bound with vines, and set off from her den down to the silvery sands. She felt most at home on the wide open beach and that was where she would start her search. Sh would only venture into the forest as a last resort, and even then, only if Ozark or her Voice was around to help her. Thinking of the little white bird she paused and glanced about, wondering where he had gone to.

Laying out on his side. Kamala gently dragged his paw through the sand in front of him. His eyes seemed dazed, but he knew exactly what was going on around him. Even so, his mind blocked out all other sounds around him, except for the gentle lapping of the waves against the shore. It was this trait that often made him seem rather cold and stand-offish, but he really wasn't. Maybe it was just part of his 'insanity,' but he never questioned it.
Looking out, the ever-visible crimson blooms covered most of his vision, fading in and out sporadically. As he grew older, he slowly realized that these flowers that constantly appeared in his eyes weren't just splotches of red - no, it was his beloved lotus speaking to him. Over time, he'd been able to see the differences in each appearance, and what it meant to what was happening around him, and that fact alone made him feel very centered.
Today, though, was just as any other day. Kamala found peace and silence when he was near water of some kind - he owed it to the fact that his precious lotus thrived in water. He hadn't been down to the beach in such a long time, as there were usually too many others around him for him to actually want to stay.
Okay. So maybe he was a little anti-social.
(( Really sorry this took so long. ;n; ))

When Pahana didn't show the young healer shrugged her shoulders and, catching her basket up in her maw, headed out of her shallow den and padded down the beach towards the tide line. Excitement filled her along with the sense that she was sneaking about, like a cub going behind their parents backs, only her parents were not here and she had no one to tell her 'no'. Still, the sense of perpetrating a clandestine operation remained, making her giggle softly. This was far more fun than during the day, though it was far less relaxing at the same time. Still, it was all for a cause and she was determined to complete her task.
Approaching the water she spied something bulky laying close to the lapping waves, something that proved to be big and red the closer she got. Stopping, one paw raised, she peered into the darkness, wondering what, or who, it was.
"H-hello...?" She called softly, her voice barely above a whisper.
