 Twilight: Twilight gazed at the evening star.. It was as bright as ever and well today she had something to say. " Please star can you bring me a friend I've become..well kind of lonely." Twilight said in a abashed manner almost afraid to admit it. Twilight gracefully placed her paws in front of her " Please please with a cherry on top. Bring me somebody interesting that i can talk to and share my interests with me. " Twilight thought perhaps she was silly to still believe in the magic of the evening star. But silliness was a good thing, she thought with a smile. Gathering her telescope and blanket she hurried down the road to her burrow. Perhaps things would be different in the morning.

It'd been quite some time since last he'd ran into anyone for that matter. his mother, father and even his siblings had seemed to vanish contact wise. this wasn't helping his already shy stature.. With a swish of his fluffy pink tail, he fluttered his wings and stalked down the road. What even possessed him to be out today he didn't know but for some unknown reason here he was.. walking along an unfamiliar road, his glow sticks bobbling about with his every step.

Twilight: Twilight sleepily rubbed her eyes. Really she needed to get out of the habit of staying up late into the night. Yawning loudly she made her way out of her burrow and squinted her eyes from the brightness of the sun. Twilight was pleased to see that the sun was so bright clearly it was going to be a great day and she was starting to get a marvelous idea..picnic! Twilight raced back into her burrow and grabbed some food and wrapped in some cloth. With her treasure in her mouth she raced outside and onto the road. She had an idea that today would be great fun and who knows perhaps her wish would come true.

As he walked, something caught his attention. another was making their way down the road as well. Without much thought. he slunk off to the side and into some near by bushes hoping he hadn't been spotted before his retreat. The bushes were shaded enough that his glow sticks cast a huge of many colors around his hiding place as he peered out, slightly wrapping his tail around him to hide even more.

Twilight: As twilight excitedly made her way down the road, her nose caught the scent of another. "Why how curious!" She exclaimed puzzled by the scent of another noodle carried by the wind. For clearly there was not another noodle on the road. Looking around she happened to see faint glow from a big bush. "Now that just silly ever body knows bushes don't glow, especially during the day. Cautious she placed her bundle to one side of the road and crossed the other side of the road. Beside the bush lay a good size stick. She grabbed the stick in her mouth and used it to poke the bush.

Upon being poked, he let out a yelp of alarm and bolted up and out of the bush only to fumble and go rolling into the middle of the road into a pile of pink fluff. Peering out through his tail, he lay there motionless.. or mostly motionless had he not been trembling. Meeting strangers was a game of chance for him.. he was either able to make the change. or crippled by his shyness.. today seemed to be one of those dysfunctional days.

Twilight: Stuffed a giggle back in. Well pokeing a stranger really was a terriable sort of thing to do but really when your confronted with a glowing bush, what is one to do? Are you ok?" She asked in a very kind tone. "I'm sorry i poked you but a glowing bush is not a sight you see every day or else there would have been a sign in front of the bush saying. The mysterious mutant bush it glows. Now there would be some noodle who would pay good money to see something like that." Twilight gazed at the male her expression hiding the laughter inside.

"M fine" He mumbled through his tail as he looked at her and then the bush. He supposed a glowing bush would look rather suspicious. Looking at his glow sticks he chuckled lightly finding the humor in all of it. "I guess glow sticks don't allow you to hide very well in a bush do they?"

Twilight:"No they sure don't allow you to hide all that easily," Twilight eyes twinkled with real mirth. "But i admit i was very surprised. You surprised me so much i thought my heart was going to beat right out of my chest. I do have to say that while they prevent you from hiding your glow-sticks are simply.... gorgeous. It's like your always surrounded by stars."

He couldn't help but to chuckle a bit. "They've always kept my nights bright... My parents gave them to me." He seemed rather proud that he'd been given such a nice gift and though he wasn't often vain he seemed even prouder that this female was admiring them. "I'm Abisen..." He said shyly as he moved so that he wasn't in the road in plain view of any other passers by.

"It's a pleasure meeting you." He looked around for a moment. "So... um.. what brought you out here besides the glowing bush.." his eyes lingered on her for a moment before darting about watching everything around him at once, his ears swiveling to listen where he wasn't looking.

Twilight: Twilight clapped her hands together and had a light-bulb moment. "Oh in all the excitement i very nearly forgot about my picnic. Well it's such a nice day and it doesn't make sense to stay all holed up when one could enjoy their meal outside." Twilight carefully grabbed her bundle. " You know i have enough for two and it's the least i can do after i poked you with that stick," she mumbled out over the bundle edges in her mouth.

Twilight: Oh no i don't mind at all. I always pack a little bit extra because you never know who your going to meet on the road. Plus i can always amuse myself by throwing bread on the ground at watching the birds come and it it." Twilight mused a bit. " I think what you described sounds lovely. Lead the way."
