Well, most people online, I've noticed, prefer anime/manga style and I like it as well. But I guess what I'm wondering, is if there is anyone who's interested in other styles?
(Sorry if I haven't been around on the guild, um, my name is Bree, by the way. I haven't been online in a while, and it's finally summer so I've got the chance to be on and do more. ^^'')

What 'exactly' do you mean by style? Are you solely talking about comics like you mentioned or art in general?

I mean like the art in general. Like abstract, sketch, comic, ect. It doesn't really matter if it was drawn by hand or done through photoshop, ect. I'm just talking generally on various forms of art. If that makes sense to you. confused

I like Eyvind Earle's self-described 'designed realism'. It's a little hard to explain what it is, so I added a pic. His paintings are so surreal and a lot of his works are landscapes from my hometown area, so I couldn't help but fall in love with them.

If his style seems faintly familiar, it's because he spent some time in the 50's as a Disney artist.

Oh wow, I've never seen art like that. That's amazing. It's very pretty. I didn't know that there were any artist from Disney who did this kind of thing. I like the way the colors bounce from place to place, but the way the colors bounce makes it seem like there's more to it then trees. It's kind of like it's got it's own little story.

He was a very talented artist, he had his first solo show at the age of 14, I believe. Even in the Disney realm he's regarded as a legend. I'm glad you like his style. 4laugh

Wow, that's incredible! I could believe that wholeheartedly. Your welcome. I'm glad you showed that to me, I don't see very many varieties of arts other than sketch and manga/anime style so it's different and I like it, but that kind of art. It's pretty inspiring.
