Hi. whee FlightlessPenguin here. You can call me Flightless, or Penguin, or PengPeng or whatever your imagination can create with my name. Nice to meet you. So, here's a fantasy roleplay((Yes, it's not a superstar's life or whatever if that's what you're thinking. And yes, it's not that movie. O.O Haven't even watched that one.)) that I'd like to do here, since it failed on another website; I hope you like the idea! CAUTION: This plot is quite long, but I hope it isn't too much for you guys.

"Oh, so I see. Interested, hm?" The old willow tree hummed in the middle of a wide clearing, which in the middle of a vast, untouched forest, its face that was carved into its trunk was moving. It was dawn, and a lot of people - all of them light-haired - was murmuring excited whispers. The tree was a really good storyteller. No matter how many times a story was told, the hollow tree always seemed to entertain the public. "Yes, we're very excited!" exclaimed a little girl in front, her smile glowing. Her light blue eyes crinkled at the sides, and the freckles across her cheeks and nose seemed to dance with eagerness. The old tree laughed, the tone deep, and the ground was grumbling gently. "Ah yes, yes. What shall I tell today, little one?" he asked in his gravelly voice, his eyes also crinkling. "Tell the one with how we all started, and when we first lived in you!" shouted the said child, being quietly shushed by the mother, throwing an apologetic look at the tree. "Of course." The tree said, chuckling, then started to open his wooden mouth to tell the story which the child had requested. And with catching sight of the sun slowly rising over the horizon, the tree ended the story, smiling. "Well, time to sleep now. Come on, get in." His branches beckoned them inside, and one by one they turned into Stars once again, their bluish-white glow lighting up the inside of the tree, and all of them slept peacefully, comforted by the gentle story-telling of their home.

It was only the beginning of the whole world, when the creatures were just getting used to their surroundings, and every Sunrise brought hope, and each Sunset brought worry among the first people of the Earth. And at the end of each Sunset, the sole Moon and the multitude of Stars in the dark sky at Night were the only ones keeping the company of the ancient beings.
Of course, we all know that the Moon will go and turn around, and it was eventually be a New Moon. At those times, only the Stars caused the comfort of the growing anxiety of the people. Every Month this happens, and soon the humans gradually got used to it, smiling at you Stars.
When at Nighttime the humanity are asleep, but at Daytime, when Stars become humans, rest. Uncomfortable, and unsafe they were on the ground, the ancient Stars, and one or two always stayed awake, their eyes shifting from side to side, checking if there were some animals coming to eat them, or claw at them.
There was one day when both of the guards fell asleep of exhaustion of burning the whole night, and three Stars died by the paws of a bear. Everyone was grim for weeks. It was then their tribe leader, Cocoda, decided it was time for a change. He planned, along with his wife, Kystallia, for weeks on an expedition. Their goal was to find some where they'd be safe and unseen, and could sleep well.
They set out, waving their hands for farewell, and weren't back for weeks. Those nights the stars lost their two brightest stars on the sky. Everyone waited, losing hope each day they weren't there. It was one day when the couple had already come back looking successful, but with a lot of bruises. They scoffed at the injuries, and announced the great news.
They all packed to leave for the place which the two hadn't told them what, but they said it was magical, and all were to be highly surprised. It only took days to find me. Imagine their shock when they saw me talk.
The husband and wife had already made a deal with me to protect them, and to work my skills to help them be nourished even if they stayed Stars, but I asked nothing in return. Grateful, they said I will live forever, what with the Stars illuminating me at Daytime.
And so, true to their words, I did live forever. I am more than a two thousand years now, and I can say I'm happy and content. At first though, I was afraid of being alone. But how can I be when all of you are here to keep me company?

"Oi; time to wake up now, little sis!" A cheerful voice yelled at the only Star left in the willow tree. Light brown eyes eyed the glowing ball of gas slowly coming out of the hole in the trunk, which was slowly becoming human. An angry human. "Whatever. Where's ((-insert name here-)) ?" asked Lona, the little sister of Naph. She was not an early Star, and preferred to wake up one more hour later. She didn't feel like lighting up the sky tonight. Naph pointed at the place near the setting sun, which was her best friend's usual place. There she was, a bright, blinking light. "You know her. She got too impatient to wait for you. She's been appointed to appear early, remember?"With a look of realization, Lona had an agape mouth, and had clearly remembered that she had to get up early too to accompany her friend. She smacked her forehead, cursing silently, then quickly turned back into a Star, and floated towards her best friend. Naph shook his head, chuckling. "Oh Lona, Lona." The sun had already set, and the place was empty, except for the sleeping tree, and himself. Well, better get cracking. He thought, and was about to turn into his natural form, when he heard an unfamiliar rustle of leaves, and a stomp of a boot over the ground. But of course, Naph didn't know what a boot was. "Who's there?" He shouted at the two silhouettes, barely seen in the darkness. "We- we need help! Please!" A man's raspy voice rung in his ears, but it wasn't one of his friends', that he was sure of. But maybe he could help them, but he still needed to take caution. "Reveal yourself!" And with that shout, two bodies all sweaty and covered in dirt, one female, one male, appeared. "Please, please help us," The woman whispered, then collapsed, caught by the man beside her. What was he supposed to do now?

The travelers, will be, whatever you want them to be. It's a free world, really. Whether scientists, biologists, geologists, or just some curious folks who stumbled deep into the wild and lost their way while camping... you pick! Really, the traveler you will be making will be full of his own history, his personality, he could be a European criminal who likes ducks running away from the Russian cops for all I care.
The point is, you just need to refrain yourself from having this person have magic, be a half-animal half-human thing, and have a background that doesn't really click with our story. Example, Doug((the example person)) was bathing himself in his bathtub, then immediately flashed into the Star Tribe wet and naked.
NO. None of that magical thingy what-just-happened stuff. Yes, there are half-Star half-human being characters in this roleplay, but, no, I'm sorry, they don't have any magic that they can do anything with themselves and turn all 'sparkly' or drink blood or whatever. They don't do magic. The only peculiar things about them are they can turn into stars, and that they live in a tree while the Sun is up in the sky. Other than that, they are just like any other tribe. They are not familiar with modern technology, and dances around a bonfire if you will.
So, there you have it. Be creative with your Traveler, eh?

o1. This is a Literate Roleplay. Do post more than four sentences. If one has a writer's block, they are excused. We all know how bad that feels. We all also know how bad it feels when you've got no writer's block, but you post lesser than the average because your roleplay mates post so little too. o2. No sex; cussing allowed, but keep it low. o3. Strictly no godmodding, and no Mary Sues, nor Gary Stus. And it would be preferable if they do not have a past wherein someone died, and they were alone to fend for themselves, etc. Despies aren't allowed, too. o4. Do ask yourself if you would fall in love with a person you've just met, and if the next minute you would already bangin' each other. No immediate romance, please. o5. I like pretty posts, but that's up to you! o6. Please type Starstruck at the end of your skeleton backwards for proof that you've read the rules. o7. Have fun! Also, it's okay if you don't get to post everyday; we all have a life, right? Three posts per week at least.

Username: Name: ((The tribe has some... uncommon names, if you noticed, and if the girl Star were to be named Elizabeth, I don't know what I would do.))
Age: ((Stars live 1.5 longer than humans. So if you would want your character to be eighteen in human preferences, take the half of it: 9, then add it to the preferred human age, which would result in 27. So he's 27 years old, but only eighteen in their years.))
Gender:
Bio: ((Put the history and personality into one. It's much easier to write that way. For me, at least.))
Appearance: ((Pictures, or descriptions are both fine by me. :) Do whatever's easier for you.)) ---
Username: FlightlessPenguin Name: Naph ((The Stars don't have to have a last name.)) Age: 30 years old in human years, 20 in Star years. Gender: Male Bio:Naph is a carefree Star, always smiling, and looking at the bright side even when it's already stormy. He is very protective of his little sister, Lona, ever since she was born. He feels happy when he's shining on the sky, looking down on earth, and feels somewhat less giddier when on land. He is a rowdy person, and spends half of the day out in the woods, not wanting to sleep yet, inside the hollow tree. He is nice to anyone who's nice to him and his sister. and he's rotten with anyone who is with and his sister. He has always received chastisement when he was little just a few years ago, but never failed to laugh it off. He is rarely serious, and had always the need to go and make people laugh. He can never stay still, even when he is asleep. He is a people person, almost always with a friend. Everyone knows him in the tribe, and he knows everyone back. When the tree tells the story, he was always out in the woods, hunting for food, and some water. Stories bored him. And for what reason, he never knew. So far, everything's a-okay with Naph, but had only changed when the couple had arrived at their place. He was terrified, and scared, but is also excited at the sight of new people. Appearance:Naph's a good 5'10 high, with light, glowing skin, like everyone in the tribe, and has bright blond hair that is uncut, and reaches down to his shoulders when let out of its loose ponytail. His hair is decorated with feathers and beads, and although he likes it, he is having a debate with himself whether to cut it or not. He has light brown eyes, and a smile that seems to never leave his face. He is dressed in simple clothes, but is without slippers nor shoes to put on his feet. His feet are decorated with healing scars, that were caused by sharp rocks while he was hunting. He has a wound that is wrapped in clean, white cloth and leaves, and it was caused by a trip not so long ago.
