Tomas was instantly intrigued when he saw the ad for Infinity Online. He didn't even bother with anything except snacks and money before he ran towards the local game center. It didn't look like much at first, just a little building with only one floor, but once he came in Tomas noticed an elevator. He stepped inside and pressed the only other button. The elevator moved down the shaft, past what seemed to be at least seventy feet of concrete. When Tomas looked outside the elevator's door, he saw a massive, futuristic-looking underground. People were lined up in front of a desk, and behind the desk was hundreds upon hundreds of pods. Tomas had his face pressed up against the glass, looking at all the high tech wonders for so long that the door had opened, and he fell face first on the floor. Tomas grabbed a spot at the end of the line and waited for his chance.

"Hell yeah!" Tomas exclaimed. "This is gonna be helluva lot better than those crappy MMOs on the PC!!"

"Sounds reasonable. Oh, you're up next!" Tomas said excitedly.

Tomas ran after Olivia as soon as he finished registration. He hopped into the nearest open pod, the door closing behind him. Lights flashed in front of him and soon enough, Tomas was in another world. New surroundings, fresh air, and a new wardrobe: instead of jeans and a t-shirt, Tomas was wearing cargos and a full-arm gauntlet on his right arm(no shirt). He felt something prodding him in the leg. A group of people was gathered around Tomas, all with very angry expressions. "Get up, human!" one of them ordered. "You should know full well your kind isn't welcomed in this area."
Oh yeah, Tomas thought, stretching out his legs, You get a randomly generated backstory when you start off. I wonder what mine is.

"Move it pal! We're gonna take you to Lady Gravira and see how she wants to dispose of you."

Tomas felt the jab of a minion's blade, ordering him to respond. He stared into the eyes of the woman before him and grinned, "My name is Tomas Kalkony. It's nice to meet you," he said calmly.

"That's a good question. I have no idea why I woke up here." Tomas said, scratching his head. I guess it's just the luck of the spawn that I'm surrounded by easy EXP. he thought, using his gamer mentality to view the situation more positively, Let's see. To summon my weapon, I need to *beep* eh? No PvP outside the arena? Does that mean someone in this area isn't an NPC?
