 Kizuka-bui trotted out, wondering what would be a good lunch for him today. Naturally, it would take a few tries for him to succeed, but there were times when he was lucky and his white pelt wasn't seen by his prey. He twitched his nose slightly, trying to find a scent. He barely found one, unless if he wanted to eat mice for lunch, which wouldn't do much to satiate his appetite anyways.
He grunted a little, and continued on his trek across the savannah.

Isipayisi was also hungry, but her Hyena Friend Mka hadn't returned with food yet, and he didn't trust her wandering around alone. So he told her to Stay Here, and Here she would stay until such time as he returned.
Isipayisi didn't know who she was, or who she had been, but she was good at following Orders.
She watched as a pale shape moved toward her, eventually emerging as another Hyena. This one wasn't Mka though. Still, according to her limited grasp of the world, anyone who was a Hyena was a Friend. So she should say Hello.
"Hello! How are you?" she said when the white Hyena was close enough to hear.

Kizuka skidded to a halt, not expecting to see anyone, much less a hyena. It had been a while since he had come into contact with another creature that wasn't prey. "Er...hello..." he grunted, averting his eyes from her.
He shifted uneasily from paw to paw, "...Is there some business you have with me?" he wasn't the best at socialization, so he wasn't too eager to talk to anyone really.

"Business?" Isipayisi turned her head sideways and ran through her inner store of words. Nope, Business wasn't there. There weren't many there, really, because Mka said she had hit her head and forgotten everything, and it hadn't come back. She had to relearn everything.
"What's a Business, and why would I have it with you?" she said, clearly confused. "I just thought we are both Hyenas and we could be Friends."
She also sounded a little hurt. People were usually more friendly with her.

Oh no, oh no. She sounded sad. Oh no what had he done. "Er...p-please don't sound so sad, I didn't mean it that way." he said quickly, edging closer to her and feeling all the more awkward at the same time. Kizu didn't like it when others were sad. Especially if the sad ones were either females or younglings.
"I-I didn't mean anything bad by it..." he said again, glancing at her from the corner of his eye. Though he was curious why she didn't know what business was. Or maybe she was phrasing her words awkwardly so he would have to analyze what she said or something.

"Oh, that's ok then." Isipayisi was relieved at the change in tone of voice of the other hyena. He didn't sound angry anymore. Though now he was talking differently, stopping and starting his words. Mka didn't do that.
Oh well. It was time to ask another question; that was how conversations worked.
"What are you doing out here?"

"Er...I was out looking for some food to get." he said slowly, hoping she wouldn't ask him why he hadn't gotten food yet. Sometimes some females would act innocent and kind around him, just to get a free meal (his meal) and make off with it and just leave him there in the dust with his empty stomach. But, he couldn't help but think every time, that each female was indeed truly nice and kind, so Kizuka would always act courteous just in case, but he never won anyways.
"And what are you doing out here?" he asked, shifting from paw to paw.

"That's good. I'm waiting for Mka. He is hunting for food too, but he says I can't help until I get better at it, so I am to stay Here and Wait. I'm waiting, still, but he'll be back soon. Mka is a good Hunter."
Isi had absolute faith in Mka's abilities. He was the smartest Hyena in the whole world.
"Mka knows all about food, he knows Hyenas can't eat Beez or Grass or Trees. They have to eat dead things."

"That's good." he commented, wondering why this female seemed so...oblivious to everything. She seemed like a young pup more than anything right now. Did something happen to her?
"Well...you feel like you haven't been digesting properly you can always try eating some grass. It makes you feel better..." Kizuka said slowly, trying to determine what could've happened to her. "Bees and trees would be very dangerous, yes." he nodded agreeing with her. "A-are you okay...?" he hazarded to ask, but he couldn't help but slightly worry.

"Oh, yes, I'm fine. My Friend Mka takes care of me. He says one day I'll be allowed to hunt like a proper Hyena, but not yet. Mka is helping me find my family," she went on to explain.
"One day I lost everything, and the Rhino found me, and then he gave me to Mka to help me find everything again. We haven't had much luck though."

"Your family?" Kizuka tilted his head, he didn't have much a family himself anymore, but everyone was different. "D-do you need anymore help?" he offered, truly wanting Isipayisi to find her family. Though, he wondered how she lost everything, but still had a family to look for. Wasn't family usually considered everything...? Or did she lost something more than that?
"If you need anymore help, I'd be more than happy to offer an extra paw and eye."

"You can keep an Eye out for Hyenas that look like me. Mka says that that's our best Bet, now. He can't find any traces of Hyenas within a day's travel of where the Rhino found me, so he says that we just have to look for Family Resemblance."
The odd thing was that Isipayisi didn't seem overly concerned about the loss of her family. She simply trusted in Mka to put it right, apparently, and did as instructed until that time came about.

"Oh okay then." he nodded, reminding himself to keep that in mind for her. "How long have you been searching for them?" Kizuka asked, probably more concerned over Isipayisi's missing family than she was. He'd always been sort of a worry-wart, sometimes nagging at others about their tasks when really it was nothing to be worried about.

Isipayisi shrugged. "I don't know, because I don't remember when I lost them. I've been with Mka for about two weeks now, and I was with Rishabh for a few Days before that. So probably almost a Month. But it could be longer. It could be Ages. I just don't remember enough to be sure."
Isipayisi had a good scratch while she mulled over her family predicament. She was growing more and more convinced that it wasn't necessary to actually have a family - Mka's family just seemed to give him headaches. So if she never found her family, she would probably make out alright. She had Friends, after all.

"Oh..." he said quietly, not knowing how exactly to respond in this kind of predicament. "...I see..." He had already offered help, tried to comfort (though he wasn't the best at it), but he didn't know what else to offer.
Kizuka-bui plopped down, watching her from the corner of his eye, wondering who these other hyena where. Was the only one that didn't really come into contact with others? "You seem to have a lot of friends." he commented.
