Alright, for you PC users, Planet Elderscrolls has released the system requirements for Oblivion. Note that these are subject to change.
Recommended:
3 Ghz Intel Pentium 4 or equivalent processor
1 GB System RAM
ATI X800 series, Nvidia GeForce 6800 series, or higher video card
Minimum System Requirements:
Windows XP
512MB System RAM
2 Ghz Intel Pentium 4 or equivalent processor
128MB Direct3D compatible video card
and DirectX 9.0 compatible driver;
8x DVD-ROM drive
4.6 GB free hard disk space
DirectX 9.0c (included)
DirectX 8.1 compatible sound card
Keyboard, Mouse
Supported Video Cards:
ATI X1900 series
ATI X1800 series
ATI X1600 series
ATI X1300 series
ATI X850 series
ATI X800 series
ATI X700 series
ATI X600 series
ATI Radeon 9800 series

I suggest you start saving for any parts you need. Also note, it needs a DVD drive, NOT a CD drive. The game will not be released in CD format (it would take 7-8 of them to install, and that is rediculous).

You could right-click on the desktop, properties, settings, and it'll be under display.

AMD 64 3200+ 512MB RAM 200GB HD (I love it ^^) 128 MB GeForce 6600GT GDDR3 AGP I'm pretty sure we hae a GeForce 6600, but it might be better, I'll have to ask my dad 1 GB of Ram 2 GHz AMD Athlon 64 3200+ 111 GB HD (And more of it is wasted everyday by my worthless sister's games.)

I was going to get Oblivion for computer but I realized that fixing my computer up to play Oblivion was going to be more expensive then just buying an Xbox 360. But this information can be useful.
