Aliqua stepped quietly through the forest gathering herbs. She was still learning about them all, mostly those used in healing. The plant that had recently struck her whimsy of curiousity was this shiny red mushroom. She was looking for one while keeping an eye out for any feathers or pretty things she could decorate her mane and tail with. Nothing alive like a flower, killing flowers just to look nice didn't sit well with her. In fact causing harm to any living being plant or animal didn't sit well with her.
That was why she was learning the ways of the healer, to stop hurt, pain, and injury. To make them all feel better. The young mare smiled in triumph when she finally found a mushroom at the base of a tree, "Got one." Her hoof was used to gently remove it from it's stem. She had to be careful not to eat the mushroom, until she learned more about it. Aliqua pulled her blanket off her back, using her front hoof to roll her plants and the mushroom onto that instead of daring to use her mouth. She'd collect and carry more this way anyway!
