The Fourth Floor: Knight and Paladin Training Room

The Fourth Floor is where the Knights and the Paladins train. It's a large hall with everything that one would need to boost themselves up. There are swords, maces, practice dummies and all sorts of enthusiastic paintings of Knights and Paladins doing their sworn duty to those less fortunate. The Knights and Paladins that stay here will have to swear an oath to the Spire, and swear that they will protect the weak and defend the helpless no matter what before being admitted.

Darion skipped this room also and headed towards the meeting hall.

Alik Looked along the walls and found a simple Longsword. He picked it up and felt the feeling of the sword, swinging it a bit and getting the feel of it. It seemed fine. [1/2]
Alik then lifted up the blade and focused his energy on the blade, the fire brick red colored energy coated the blade and made a case around it of hot dense energy then disappeared. He walked to a dummy and swung the blade at a dummy missing it with the main blade, but the dummy was cut anyways. [2/2] - Phantom Edge Learned

"..." There was another person. And Sky was not here yet. Where was he? Was he following? Did he leave? He felt weaker and weaker as the moments went by. He hated to be around people. And when he was alone, without his brother, it was almost so unbearable that it was suffocating. "...I..." He couldn't really speak rationally or clearly, he just wanted to get through his message. He wanted to find within these walls -- training -- but all he found was fear. Despite all the people around him, he had never felt more alone.

A small man took notice of the uneasy kid who walked in. "Hello? Can I help you?" he asked.

One, who looked highly similar to the other already within the hall, came flying through the doors. He made his way to the side of his brother and looked around before letting out a long whistle. "Fancy place you've got here," he said as his red eyes noticed the two others in the room. He then quickly looked to his brother for a brief moment. "Sorry Hawk. Took a brief detour," he spoke with a large grin as he adjusted the bow and quiver which were slung over his shoulder. He then heard the words of the small man. "Uhhh...Neh! Ya can't help him! Whatsa midget like you gonna possible teach us!?" he spoke rudely to the smaller man.

"Ill have you know I'm an excellent teacher. Arch-Mage Liliana found me herself to help her students. And I take it you are the newest ones she's sent me." The man crossed his arms, looking over the twin boys. Sighing, he added, "I've had worse."

"I... you... are too rash. Yes, we are looking for assistance. I am sorry for stumbling in here like a lost sheep; I am simply... nervous, around... most people." As much as he didn't want to speak, especially not to someone so... inferior, it seemed his brother really couldn't handle anything on his own. "I -- we -- have been looking for someone reliable... dependent, pretty much everywhere imaginable. We are looking for training, just ignore Sky, he's not really gifted in the brains department. I'm... what some people call a berzerker... though, I'm perfectly capable of controlling myself, thanks for asking, and I'd like to learn some hand-to-hand abilities... or, anything you could give. It'd be appreciated, though it's okay if you really don't have the time or desire. We are sorry for charging in here so... insidiously." Although he didn't really find any dislike or disdain in Sky's words -- he acted almost as if he were against him, if only to gain the favor of the "teacher". ''Remember, if we act hostile, we will be treated in that way. We need to act... ugh, nice, even as hard as it is. Beggars can't really be choosers, and I'm sure you don't want to get forced out onto the street."

"You'll be alright," the man said with a laugh. "What was it the Arch-Mage says? Oh yeah. 'If you are in need of sanctuary, The Spire will embrace you' or something like that. Means so long as you need the help and protection, we're here to give it to you. Now, did you have any specific fighting styles in mind to start with?"

(We can post without Alex from here on, he's going to bed and told me it's okay for us to move on without him.)

Tapping his chin as he paced through the styles he'd gained knowledge of within his life, he put on a small smile along the curve of his lips as he began to abruptly speak. "Juijitsu. That is what I want to learn... first in line, though the actual list would bore you a bit, I think. Along with that, I'd like to learn capoeira. I believe, from what I've seen, that the two compliment eachother. Though, apparently, I'm just a "dumb kid" by most people's standards, so I'll leave that for you to decide, oh short one." He lightly chuckled, though honestly he was rather bored of this facade. He hoped this spire and its residents were worth it -- or they, in his eyes, would not be worth him. A home for refugees. It almost seemed too good to be true. The sad part of it all, however, was that even those smart enough to run from their "get-nowhere" nations still seemed to be fools.

(Brief post but I'm not really sure about styles. Do you learn all of the skills within the stage, just the stage, or both?)

"Okay. Since I would normally have another student to attack you like a normal training for the first stage would go but are currently lacking in students, I want you to focus on balance and fluid movement with some Tai Chi. From there, we'll have you learn Phantom Feint and Hip Throw. Begin." The man leaned back on a nearby dummy to observe the new kid's movements.

(So I learn the skills first? Or do I actually train in balance? o_________O)

Balance first, then skills. Stage always comes before skills.

Another question, yes, I know (xD) but how much posts would this be?

Is it E rank x2? So 6 -2 = 4? Someone said that styles are like... E, D, C, B, A, S, so on and so forth for each stage x2...

lol lame, it takes a while to register you as my friend on GIM...
