An OOC/Setting RP between my Soquili for personality building

[color=#f84a2b][/color]  Ell was wondering around the clearing where she and her fellow teepee mates lived. It was a boring day for her per her usual standards. She pawed at the ground with her hooves, trying to dig up worms or something just to be entertained with.Boomer waddled his way out of his burrow, grumpy and tired. He looked around for Ell, dreading finding her because she loved to annoying him to death... it was just his luck to get stuck with her. He grumbled as he spotted her, doing something ridiculous as usual. With a groan he waddled over towards her, wondering what drama she would cause today.

[color=dodgerblue][/color]  The mini fella yawned as he looked about. He was newer to the small herd so he wasn't sure what to expect for his day. He new that some of his herdmates were strange, odd, and other such things, but he figured he'd try to get to know some of them today.. might as well since he was going to be living with them. As he stood up he tilted his head side to side and he tried to crack his neck. After a few tries there was finally a pop! Oh it felt so good. "Time to meet the gang." He trotted on out, spotting the female and her bear and noticing both of them looked like they were having a bad day already. "Oh geeze... I wonder if this is really a good idea..."

[color=#FF8C00][/color]  Juude was excited to start the day. He didn't know what he was going to do today, but he was a morning horse ans always excited for a new day to start. He trotted on out of his little nook he had made for himself. He shook out his mane, his crazy locks flopping about then grinned as he spied two of his herdmates. As he made his way towards them the chains from his necklace and bracelet clinked together, creating a rhythm that he couldn't resist humming to as he went along.

Ell continued chipping away at the ground, determined to find a worm or bug now. Doing so was ingrained in her brain now so it was her mission! She was stubborn as anything so once she set her mind to something she would not stop until he did what she set out to do. As she chipped away at the ground she came across pebbles and other such things, but no worms or bugs. "DANG IT!" she screamed as she pitched a mini fit to herself. Scooting to the side a foot or two she starts pawing at a different spot to try and find what she was looking for.
With a 'thud!' Boomer plopped down on the ground next to Ell, staring down at her hooves as she pawed away. "What in the world are you doing? Something else completely pointless?" he grumbled at her, fully expecting a thunk to his being at some point for his comment.

He stood there, watching the female curiously. Why was it his luck to run into the odd ones? Firstly the Silly Pumpkin and now this? With a shrug he decided why not and made his way over, coming around to the front of the female and the bear he just kind of watched. He wasn't quiet sure how to even start talking to her so he just kind of plunked down and watched.

As he was nearing the others he started breaking out into song, blurting out random words that were rhyming but having nothing to do with each other. He was loud, proud, and terribly out of tune! He knew he was tone-deaf, but he just didn't care. As he approached the others with a silly grin on his face he said in an almost sing-song voice. "Hey little dudes and dudette! How goes it?"

Ell's eyes shot up to glare at the other two horses. They were interrupting her important dig and she didn't want to be bothered! "What?! You guys are disrupting my dig! How can I concentrate with little Mister Spot-Spot and the Tone-Deaf one?" Her face was that of one who just put a sour lemon in their mouth. Why were these other horses even there bugging her? She just didn't get it.
Turning to boomer she huffed at him, not saying anything in reply to his comment, and got right back to pawing at the ground. She would get him back later.
He knew her lack of reply was a bad thing for him, but ah well.. he was use to bad things after getting saddled with her.

Eyes now wide at the way she had reacted to him and the big stallion being there. The little Usdia scooted back just a wee bit. How is it that he ended up with another stupid nickname? He was beginning to see his pattern as a curse. He shook his head and rolled his eyes, sighing a bit. "Sorry about that... Just wondering what you were doing." He pawed at the ground a bit then looked back at her. "So what are you digging for anyways?"

Juude was taken aback for a moment at the mare's rude reaction. "Whoa whoa.. cool your jets rude dudette! I mean no harm." He turns his gaze to the bear "Is she always like that?" He wasn't really expecting to get a reply, just trying to be funny. Following suit, the stallion plopped down on his rear end next to the little guy and pawed at the ground, not thinking much of it or that it might have been weird. He figured they were just gonna have a good ol time. "So like... I hope you don't nickname me 'The Tone-Deaf One' cause.. you know.. that would not be a great nickname." He laughed a bit then kicked up just a little dirt in their direction and laughing more.

The mare was far from thrilled at the two. The little one just seemed to be... well she didn't know, but she didn't like him! The big one just acted like a doofus.. or so she thought. "Hey look! I didn't ask for company or help! Can't you guys just go away or something?! Maybe find someone else to bother?" Normally she didn't mind being the center of attention, but she really didn't like them hovering about. As the stallion kicked dirt up at her, she snorted at him angrily. "WHAT THE HELL DID YOU DO THAT FOR?!" She kicked some back at him, much worse than his playful bit.
Feeling a sense of impending doom, the bear scooted back from the group of them.. just a tad. He didn't bother answering the stallion's question because he would be finding out how she was for sure now.

Dez was grateful for the distraction that the stallion provided now, glad that the seemingly psychotic mare's attention wasn't on him anymore. He mimicked the bear's actions, scooting back out of the way just to make sure he was out of harms way. Leaning in towards the bear he whispered 'Should we be fearing for our lives?"

Juude didn't know what to think of this chick, but she was far from a cool one to hang out with. He had only been playing around.. didn't she get that? Whoa whoa whoa! I was just messin' with yah." He flinched with a grin as she kicked some back at him. "Chill dudette! You act like you're all hopped up on somethin'! Only goofing around with you... Don't you know how to have any fun?" He peered back over at her, brow quirked, as he waited for an answer. He would get this chick to loosen up and have some fun! He was determined to do so now.

Ell's face drooped. She was not amused, not happy, and most certainly NOT enjoying anything now. He day had the potential to at least not be completely boring, but that chance was shot now. With a whimpering whining she blubbered "Why can't anyone leave me alone when I want to be left alone?!" On any given normal day for her she loved being around others, getting attention, and freaking them out, but today of all days when she wanted to be alone they just wouldn't let her have that!
The grumpy bear leaned towards the Usdia and simply stated "Well since she's had a mental break now.. I think we'd all be better off getting away for now.... She's unstable most of the time, but when she's upset enough to the crying point... well that's no good for anyone, especially me and males." With that the bear proceeded to scoot back once again, gaining some more ground between him and the mare close to her psychotic break point.

Dez listened to the bear, feeling sorry for the mare. He wondered to himself why someone so bright and colorful on the outside could be so dark inside. "It's too bad she's so psychotic... I was hoping to get to enjoy meeting her." Following Boomer once more, he moved himself back and away, figuring the mare's familiar would certainly know best.

Juude watched the mare get to crying and felt terrible! He thought it was his fault and, being the good guy he is, he immediately tried to comfort her. "Oh hey hey.. come on.. I didn't mean to upset you. We may have gotten off to a rough start, but we can totally fix that no problem!" He smiled his goofy and endearing smile at her, hoping that he could help her feel happy again... the poor stallion was sorely mistaken.
