ChidiWhat a fine day. The sun was warming the earth, and the smell of moist ground rose through the air. It had rained yesterday, but today was perfect weather! Everything wasn't too wet, but made the grass in the area crisp and fresh. Chidi seized the opportunity for a fine feast, and began to chomp away at the grass. After which, he would head out to find his brother. His brother was older than him, but still young at heart. Chidi would likely found him rolling around in the wet grass, like a spring colt.
Chidi snickered at the thought, with a mouth full of wet greens.

AyitaAyita gallivanted in the dew-kissed grass. The beads of water hitting her fetlock amused her easily for some reason unknown to the mare. Tossing her head, she basked in the warmth of the sun. The generally demure Ayita was feeling rather chipper, most likely due to the weather...even then, the weather usually didn't bother her much. Prancing about, the slowly settled down some, and started grazing on grass. Every so often, she'd pause and look around at those in the vicinity. Her eyes lingered on the dark stallion near by- she was drawn to his colours, and the marking on his shoulder.

Chidi's thoughts of his brother dwindled down to nothing, as black and green warmth brought notice near by. Close by was a mare that took her fill of the supper at her feet. He thought he caught her glancing his way. He casually watched, waiting to see if her eye wandered his way again. If she didn't then he would continue on without a second thought. If she did however, then he would introduce himself. Sure enough, eyes met between them for a moment. Turning his rump with a few side steps, he progressed along the grass in a direct line towards where she was, still swiping mouthfuls of green into his mouth as he went along.

Her eyebrows scrunched together. The stallion was approaching her. Ayita supposed she'd been caught staring. Oops? She cautiously watched the other soquili- her happy mood diminishing slightly as she waited to see what he would do. Lowering her head to nibble on grass, she kept her eyes up- firmly watching the others movement.

Appearing more bovine than equine, he finished his B-line over to the stranger mare. The distance gap now gone, the movement of his feet ceased. A great deal of chewing went on as he finished his mouth full, then reached to wipe his mouth on the inside edge of his front leg. He didn't want to say hello with green hanging from his lips.
He slid his tongue along his teeth, checking for stray pieces of grass, then sucked his teeth. "Howdy do." he spoke a country greeting in the most non-country way possible.

"H-he-hel-hello." Despite her mood, her stutter was still there with her in full force. The other stallion amused her. She hadn't quite seen a soq act like that before. It was...entertaining.
"Ho-ho-how a-are ya-you?"
