Background: Born in the Kanto region in Celadon City to Jaquelin and Thomas Daly, he started like any other trainer, at the age of ten. His first Pokémon was a Squirtle, that he traded for his Rhyhorn, after beating the Vermilion City gym with just his Blastoise and Golbat at his side. He picked up two more Pokémon along the way, however, he rarely used the Nidoking or Pidgeot that he had received in trade until he got to the Elite Four challenge. This whole trip took him approximately five years, and by the time he got to the best trainers in the Kanto/Johto region, he already had his Crobat and Rhydon, plus his Scyther. It was a hard-fought battle, and he almost lost, but he defeated the Elite Four just before he turned sixteen. After he went into the Johto region, he stopped using his Pidgeot and Nidoking altogether, leaving him with just three Pokémon, though he also picked up a Larvitar and a Sneasel while there. The trip through Johto took him only two years, and when he went back to the Elite Four, he already had a Tyranitaur, and he stomped them again, but this time it was easier for him. After this, he departed for the Hoenn region, way in the southwest. This trip took him three years, and a year and a half into it, he got a Beldum, and this would be the team he would forever use. By the time he defeated the Elite Four in Hoenn, he had a Weavile and a Metang. However, when he went to Sinnoh, he faced many difficulties, barely managing to make it to the Elite Four. All of which took a scant eight months, this trip. The Elite Four in Sinnoh made minced meat out of him and his team, and that is where he decided he needed to train extra hard. He took a trip out to the Battle Frontier, honed his skills, and finally got his Metagross and Rhyperior. Andrew went back to the Sinnoh Elite Four and returned the favor in kind, taking a grand total of two years and eight months to defeat the Sinnoh Elite Four. After this, he heard speak of two new regions, one being an island and one being in the main body, which he decided to travel to the Kanagiri region first, seeing as how it was closer.
