Looking to roleplay

Hey there, i'm pirate. (well, obviously) and i'm looking for some rp's to make my life a little more interesting when i'm not working or going to school. When it comes to literacy, I myself feel as though I am lit to semi lit, and prefer that my partner be nearly the same. ((just so long as the post makes sense and is readable [i do believe the proper term for that is legible, but i'm not an english major] stop babbling, pirate)) Anywho, i'm willing to try just about anything. If you wanna rp with me, give me a shout through pm and we can set something up. I'm ok with doing pm rps, or posting a thread, whatever works for you. Although, i do have a few rules i'd like to lay down:

1. No god modding, personally, it just ticks me off...
2. Nothin over pg-13. mild cussing is ok, but using the fbomb every other word just takes the value out of the post.
3. I'm okay with kissing and cuddling, but no cybering please.
4. Try to post a little more than a line. We all get writer's block, but personally, it doesn't help me any when all i get are one line responses. Be creative, have fun!!!
5. Pm me with which story line you'd like to do, which part you wish to play (i'm not picky as to which character i am) and whether it's pm or guild thread. makes it easier on me rather than asking all the annoying questions.

Welcome to Solace Academy

The popular person meets the outcast in this roleplay. It all starts when they have the EXACT same schedule. Honestly, they hate eachother's guts. But who knows? perhaps a friendship, possibly a romance may blossom atwixt these two... if they can keep themselves from murduring eachother.

Now That I See You

Ah, nothing beats the thrill of going to college! Well, the freshman sees the flyers for the upcoming tryouts for a musical production of their favorite movie. They audition, and are cast as one of the main roles. The other main role goes to the best performer at the college, who can be a bit of a stuck-up jerk. Truth be told though, this person actually has a deep, perhaps painfully troubling past. Now that these two will be working together, they may get to know each other a little bit better than they thought, or, even wanted to.

A Pirate's Life for Me!

The story of two young people; one of them, derived from royalty. The other, a simple apprentice to a trade. Both of them actually long for the sea... the wind, and the salty spray carressing their faces... Well, coincidentally, they both run away the same night, and join up under the same captain: Ace Torrencia, also known as Captain Ace the Axe, noted for favoring an unusual weapon aboard the seas. The two young adults are both starting as cabin workers, the lowest of the low. They're going to need eachother's help if they are to survive the work, and the grueling tasks ahead.

Midnight Cafe

There's a small cafe on the corner of Maple Street called the Night Owl Cafe. Wierd name, considering it's only open during the day... or so it seems. For you see, when this cafe closes at 3pm, it's only because the owner takes a quick rest before getting it ready for their night time guests; any and all magical mages and wizards and witches, and the like. The owner of the Night Owl is in need of some extra help, concidering the Cafe is getting a bit bigger... but what they're not ready for is the human person who comes looking for a job at the cafe.... When the human finds out about the magic, will they be able to keep it a secret?

Just Want to Belong

In the village of Tielle, a war just got over. A war between the Animalia and the Humans. Both sides used to hate eachothers guts (and some of them still hold grudges) But let's focus on the story. One Anima meets a Human. The Anima, a released prisoner from the war. The human, actually a worker for the underground resistance, which was responsible for freeing and or relocating Animalians. But how could you tell the difference between the two? Animalians were the only ones with Tattoos, and Humans could cast magic. How will our former prisoner and freedom fighter fair when they suddenly wind up sharing the same home? Perhaps, both will find what each of them had always wanted; The animalia, to no longer be alone... And the Human, to be accepted by someone, rather than dispised by both.

Wonderland Again?

This is the story of the child of Alice Kingsley. As she raised her child, she spoke of the adventures in Underland, as if it were all a dream. Filling her child's head with the same nonsense and witty ideas as she once had. But as the child grew up, they grew apart. Fed up with Alice's disapproving tones, the only one she had to confide in was their childhood friend. Well this friend of Alice's offspring has developed somewhat of a crush for them. A secret love, if you will. Well, as it just so happens, they find themselves stuck down a rabbit hole, and off through Underland once more. Could this wacky upsidedown place lead to the friend confessing their love for the young Kingsley? Or could it lead to their separation and destruction of their friendship?

How to Train Your Dragon; next generation

Many many years later upon the Isle of Berk, the dragons and vikings had learned to coexist peacefully. Some dragons still live with the purest of bloodline; i.e, the Terrible Terror, Monstrous Nightmare, Hideous Zippleback, Gronkle, Nadder, and of course the Nightfury. But other breed have recently surfaced, some being a mix of different dragons, and some, only thought to have appeared in dreams. Well, the Heir to Hiccup's Viking tribe now gets to start their adventure in dragon capturing and training. These Viking Teens have to actually catch a wild dragon, become friends with it, and teach it to obey their commands. Catching a dragon is hard enough, but getting it to listen without being charbroiled? Extra tricky. Lucky that the Heir has their best friend to help them out! but, what the Heir doesn't know, is that their best friend secretly is in love with them. Hoping to impress the heir by helping them catch and train their dragon, the best friend hopes to accomplish somewhat a relationship between them. Who knows? Perhaps a couple of firey beasts and some heavy duty survival camp will do the trick!

The One They Never Knew

Separated at birth, the fraternal twins grew up in different worlds. Both were Vampires, however, one was taken by the most cruel of vampire hunters as an act of revenge upon this powerful family. The hunters suppressed their vampire instinct, and raised them to be a rather cruel and ruthless killer. The other, a curse put upon them when the sibling was taken. Now, they're in their late teens, and carrying on about their daily lives. Until the fateful day they were to meet, as the Hunter meets the Cursed in an assignment to kill them. The weapon pointed at the Cursed one's head, their eyes locked. It was then that both of them knew: They were brother and sister. The Hunter finds a way to temporarily cure the curse, but in doing so, awakens their vampire instinct. Now living with their sibling in a large mansion-like home, how will these two fair? Not ever knowing their sibling for very long, is it possible for a love to bloom? Much more than a family attraction... but, that kind of love is forbidden amongst family, right? But how can they control their feelings for one another?

Beauty and the Creep

In the music-orientated school of Cordelle (high school or university, i'm not picky) the Popular meets the All Out A-hole when they're stuck working on a musical production together. The Popular one hates getting all the attention, yet rolls with it only because they hate disappointing people. The Jerk is that way with a resentment from their past. Truthfully, they're talented at what it is they do, and secretly they love helping younger students at a local music store. Together, they find out secrets of the other, and slowly grow to like eachother.

Everafter?

In the land of Everafter, lives the characters we've heard of in our most treasured fairy tales. Well, the good ones anyways. For the full title of the land is Happily Everafter, but most just call it Everafter for short. Far off is the land where the antagonists and enemies of all good folk live; Grimmoire. Any and all who were deemed as the bad guy of a story have resided there as long as fairy tales existed. Now, people who reside in either land carry a Title. The title of they were given in their fairy tale. With each generation, that title is handed down, and sometimes altered to fit the new child to carry the name. For example, The title of Robin Hood may be changed to fit a femal child by calling her Robyn Hoode. And so on and so forth, you get the idea, correct? Well, in our story, one person from each side discovers the other deep within the forest that divides the two. The other is wary of one, neither trusting what the other says. After all, they're the enemy right? Maybe. But soon they keep running into eachother in the forest, most of the time, on purpose. They find that the other one isn't as bad as their land tells them, and maybe they develop feelings for eachother. We'll see how their tales begin with the timeless phrase to begin all stories.... "Once Upon A Time...."

Seaward Secrets

A young royal girl has never dreamed of having such a life. Completely sick of it, actually. Her bedroom window looks out to the sea, and every day, she dreams of sailing on the ocean blue. Well, one day, her parents inform her that she is betrothed to a man about twice her age, with the most horrid complection and dastardly behaviour. The girl has heard that this man has beat women, and is one of the most ill-behaved people despite being the future Lord of a land. Not wanting any part in it, she decides to run away and join a sailing ship. But, it's bad luck to have women aboard ships... She has to disguise herself as a boy, and keep up the charade in front of everyone, at least until they make port far away from the land of her future fiancee as possible. During the boarding, however, she unwittingly signs onto a pirate ship. The captain, a notorious man who was said to strike terror into everyone, including his crew. As the ship sails toward its adventure, these two find themselves unexplainably attracted towards one another, the Captain being confused as to why he has a soft spot for this boy, and the Runaway frightened that her secret once revealed would mean death aboard this ship. What shall they do? Find out, and come aboard the Crew!

The Wolfbane Coven

The Wolfbane Coven is a group of witches and warlocks inside the school of St. Lowelle. THe school is for the 'gifted', as in the intelligent or the super-wealthy. But there are a few of the students there who posess magical qualities. They are the Wolfbane Coven. It's a constant battle, for their are some dark magic users and the light magic users. Well, the coven is then divided, both sides having their personal views. The strength of the Coven is failing.... that is, until a light magic user and a dark magic user start falling for eachother. It may just take these two reuniting the Coven to help fight off an even darker force.

Two Different Worlds

The Academy of Rozinna; Two different, elite campuses. One harbors the magic casters; Spells and enchantments galore. The other houses the transformers; The people who can morph into animals. They're kept apart, mainly because of their abilities. But also, because both sides have had deep dislikes for eachother. Everything was competition. Well, on the eve of the Grand Winter Festival, A morpher catches the eye of a caster, and the two come to a grand competition of powers. Which, under the School's code; is forbidden upon this night. The two are sentenced to detentions together, consisting much of groundskeeping and cleaning. As their detentions progress together, they begin to respect the other, and feelings begin to blossom.

Part of a pack

A lone werewolf left their pack who lived deep in the mountains. A human is isolated from most other people, be it by their own choice or not. They are truly kindhearted in nature, but have few, if any friends. The werewolf has moved to the city, in hopes of escaping the pack life. They encounter this nice human and feel wary. Why would someone go out of their way to help others?

The Legacy of Sherlock Holmes

What would you do if you were the child of Sherlock Holmes? After Holmes revealed he was alive two years after he and Moriarty went over the edge together, a woman came to him, passing off a five year old child, claiming that it was Holmes'. The woman left, never to be seen again. Holmes set about raising the child, finding that they were a lot alike. He got along great with the kid, and they all kept in touch with John Watson, and his young one. Watson and Holmes' children became very close as well. Each mimicking their father's characteristics to an extent; the offspring of Holmes having a knack for detective work, and getting into trouble. The child of Watson being a great doctor as well as saving their friend's tail a lot. Well, one strange night, John Watson and Sherlock Holmes go missing. To Holmes' child, it doesn't sit right, and they're insistant upon finding out what happened. The young Watson, not wanting to leave their Holmes alone, goes along with it. What mystery will they uncover in the search for both of their fathers? And, perhaps a love will bloom atwixt them? Only time may tell.

No one Said it Would be Easy!

Nothing beats showbiz! No matter where you're from or where you're going, if you aspire to be famous you'll find that nook that fits just right. Well, our story takes place when a famous all-boy band is going out on the town after a concert the night before. They wander the streets of a town called Salem, conversing amongst themselves. "Well it's settled!" One of them cries. "We need another band member!" So with that, they made their way into a local performing club that they've heard much about. While getting their drinks and listening to the performers, the lights suddenly go dark. A tremendous and suspensful act is about to be played. The spotlights go on one at a time, highlighting each of the performers on stage. Then, a voice is heard, coming from the dark centerstage. Finally the lights come on, and there they spy their guy. This boy sings with an amazing voice, has the moves, has the passion. The boy band nods together, that's their new voice. Our story takes place after the concert. The one who they saw singing, is actually a girl! The boy band doesn't know it yet, and they want this 'guy' to be their next singing sensation in their band. What is this girl going to do? They won't take no for an answer, so she is reluctantly dragged along on an adventure that will help them all rise to the top. That is, if she can keep her gender-bending secret from the band and the fanbase.

An Ireland Tale

Once upon a time, during the olden days in Ireland, there lived a powerful king. And such a king with his queen gave birth to a beautiful daughter, who's hair was as red as a flame, and eyes as sparkling green as emeralds. They raised her with grace and poise, but she had that fiery flare about her. She hardly wished to obey her father and his wishings that she be more ladylike. She wanted adventure, swordfights, and freedom. One night, she snuck out of the castle, and went on an adventure of her own. Now the hard part of her quest is to keep her identity of being a princess a secret. How can she do that when her father has put out a reward for finding his daughter? Especially since many a man is now looking for her? She comes to the first town, searching for a place of refuge for the night. And there she meets a peuliar man.... Will he be after her too? Or will he shelter her for the timebeing?

Alpha vs. Omega

In the forest of Fael, there's a large wolf pack. Prey is plentiful, weather is bearable, and there's no competition for territory. Now, the Fael Wolves have the ability to transform into humans, as well as control a magic of some sort. Well, the Alpha is a cocky, confidant, hard-working wolf who takes crap from no one, and rules with a nearly iron paw, so to speak. The omega is a clown, a bit of a weakling, and basically tries to stay out of the way. Well, one day, the Alpha and Omega were separated from the rest of the pack, courtesy of the clumsiness of the Omega. The Alpha is angry, wondering why this wolf is even in the pack. The Omega is fed up finally with being downtrodden all the time, and blows up at the Alpha, showing strength and Confidance that they never did show before. Challenging the Alpha. After the battle, the Alpha gains a little respect for the Omega.. but only a little. They still need to find their way back to the pack. But will they ever get back to them? Will things be the same when if ever they return? Or will the Alpha wind up falling for the clumsy Omega, and vice versa?
