I really need to ask a favor.
There is this name that is driving me crazy. I have heard it, but not in relationship to a pink cat in cartoons and such.
I may have read a book where it was someone's nick name, I may have seen it on TV or a movie, but I repeat it was not the pink cat that I heard it in reference to, so please anyone with better faicilities than me, please clue me in if the name Bagpuss rings a bell!

These are two sites I found. I don't think I've ever heard of this character, so I am of little help...

I checked Gaia and found a myriad of sites pertaining to the cartoon...
I am really leaning towards someone using it as a nickname for a fictional character, but who in the world, I don't know. Time to sleep and pick simmy's brain in the morninrg

I LOVED bagpuss when I was a child. biggrin

The mice were my favorite! But I didn't like Professor Yackle much. Not sure why though.

I still remember a couple of the mice songs. biggrin

And there's only one Bagpuss. The real one. The furry one. The CAT. biggrin biggrin biggrin

Well this is yet another thing I've never heard of before. Just put it on my list of things to never see like pocky (sp) and jammie dodgers.
