Contest #1 June Theme - A Day At Buccaneer BoardwalkFor this contest, you must write a story about if you had a Buccaneer Boardwalk ticket; How would you spend your day? What all would you do? It doesn't have to be super long, but at least three well-written paragraphs. Also there is a second part for this contest; you are to draw one of the activities you wrote about. The picture can be super detailed, but it could also be something that you drew with MS Paint. The sky's the limit, so give it your all. Of course, the winner of this contest will win a Buccaneer Boardwalk Headstart Ticket If you do not want the BB Ticket, or already have one, you have the option of having a randomly selected Thank You Letter as your prize.
This contest will begin on May 28th and will end on June 19th [If we don't have more than five entries, the deadline will be extended] When we have gotten all the entries in, it'll be voting time. Everyone will mention in the thread which story they liked (aside from your own if you enter) and then on June 26th the voting will close and the winner will be announced. After that, another contest for the same prize (BB ticket) will be announced for the month of July and one more when August rolls around. It will have a different theme, so keep your eyes peeled. [EDIT] - the June contest has been extended. I will be accepting entries until July 17th and voting will be through July 18 to July 24th.
Obviously, not everyone has access to Buccaneer Boardwalk, so here are some screenshots to help you plan your entry! biggrin
Concept art and main overview map l In-game mini-map l Loading mapJuly Theme - Pirates! The MusicalFor this contest, you need to come up with a song from the new [made-up] musical Pirates! The Musical, as well as one of the costumes one of the performers will be wearing during this musical number. The song should rhyme, as well as be a bit lengthy. How many lines, you ask? I'm not exactly sure, but I'm thinking at least twenty. The picture of the costume can be drawn in real life, done with MS Paint, Photoshop, etc. Tektek submissions will not be accepted, since they are not your own artwork.
This contest beings on July 17th and will end on August 6th. Voting will being on August 7th and end on August 14th In order for the contest to move onto the voting stage, there must be at least four entries.

 Summer Ring RaffleThat's right, another zOMG! ring raffle               In case you haven't participated in one of the raffles before, or if you need a refresher, you buy tickets to be placed in the drawing for a zOMG! Ring [There is be a list of what ring can be won shortly]
There is no set amount of tickets that we have, so then everyone has a chance to participate. Tickets are 100 gold each and there is no limit to how many you can buy. At the end of the raffle [July 30th], I'll post in this thread using the random number generator and whichever number is generated is the winning number. Whoever has that number gets to pick a ring from the ones we have available.
Just a reminder, but you do not pick the numbers of your tickets. The reason behind this is because it makes things a bit too complicated to manage, even more so since there is an unlimited amount of tickets.
To enter the raffle, send a trade to the clan mule, Guardian of Myhrr, and label it "Summer Ring Raffle". Trades not labeled will be cancelled so they are not confused with donations. Your tickets will be shown after the trade has been fully accepted/completed. You are also able to buy tickets for other people, just make sure to note that in the trade title.Rings AvailableDiagnose, Ghost, Gumshoe, Healing Halo, Hot foot, Improbability Sphere, Keen Eye, Knife Sharpen, Mantis, Meat, Rock Armor, Scaredy Cat, Taunt, Teflon Spray, Turtle
These rings range in various CLs, which are all below 5.0, if I'm not mistaken.
1st prize - ticket holder picks a ring for the list above
2nd prize - Midsummer Swirl 
3rd prize - MoMo the Monkey 
4th prize - Mythrill Coin (15,000 Gold) 
Runner-up prizes - a random zOMG! recipe (One is given to everyone who holds at least one ticket)
