i was recently turned on to a certain author by my father (strangly enough eek ) her name is Lynn Felewelling, and she is my new goddess

she writes a series of novels called the night runner series that are absolutly FULL of slashy goodness, mainly between the main characters Alec and Seregil, its really all quite cute and sweet, with a great plot to boot...and boy do you cheer the first time the boys kiss

i highly reccomend all of you find and read these books, Except for wendy and wicked, who already have them

You should all read "Cry to Heaven" and other such works by Anne Rice.

I'm not too sure when it came out. My father's quiet the 'erotic novel' reader (yuk...) and he didn't like it so he went, 'your into all that gay stuff right? here, have these.'

It pretty much focuses on Beauty being woken up by the Prince and becoming his pet. But there are a lot of slashy moments through out the three books, including a garden of delights where all the men come out and play ( xp ) It's fairly heavy on the S&M and the bondage factor, and very little storyline to speak of, but the slash was good ^_^ and as I knew very little about S&M at the time. it was quiet interesting for that.

I know, I'm so lucky, I was so scared my parents would hate me when I told them I was Bi. I think my mum has chalked off me having grandkids for her though, and I know that must disappoint her a bit.

If my dad gave me a book like that I would faint or be in shock
Now if I can find them, not many novels I know of are yaoi but one thing that is right with Scotland is that they do sell Anne Rice books (one of my fav writers)

I haven't read any of those books, but I'm gonna search them on Amazon now. I'm addicted to Amazon. xd

I have a small collection of gay fiction though.

Leave Myself Behind by Bart Yates is by far my favorite.

I'd rec a few more but I'm too lazy to get off my bum and go look for my books. They're all in random boxes anyway from when I cleaned my room a while back and never put them away. sweatdrop

Hey everyone! I'm new and I'll add my two cents.

Another author that goes the route of "yaoi" novels is Mercedes Lackey. The Last Herald-Mage Triligy is her only stoy arch that I'm aware of with a gay character as the main guy and who actually has a lover. Some of her novels go along that line with other charcters swinging that way but they tend to not be the focus.

On a side-note, some people swear by this series but I've only read the first novel, Magic's Pawn so far but wasn't really impressed. I couldn't bring myself to like the main character much. The relationship dynamic tends to be the focus of these series. The sex is pretty much left to the imagination, we see before and after, never durring. The character interactions are very enjoyable though. For me at least, Lackey can be hit or miss. Her male characters can be very interesting but some of her female lead characters (in other series mind you) are ones who are so overly feminist and cliche that its just a total yawn to read. But thats just my opinion and I am picky with books.

Quick question, can anyone tell me how the writing is in the other novels?
