 Ezio walked between the trees, his steps not making a sound, he had had lots of practice and even on dry leaves his tread was silent. He wasn't in need of this skill today as the winters leaf fall had broken down into soft dark earth underfoot.
He wasn't working today, but then they were still settling into this area, even as assassins they didn't make enemies that fast. So he walked along, his hood up, though there was no need for it, it was just habit at this point, though the day was sunny and warm, the sun made the hood a good thing, the heat not so much. But it wasn't that hot, especially not in the shade of the trees as he was.
Finally he came to a shaded clearing and smiled, the grass was long and thick here, he was near water too he could hear a light trickle of a small stream. He would enjoy the grass, then go find the water and maybe some early summer fruit on the way. Yes this all seemed perfect to him, a relaxing day in the cool shade of trees, and who knew maybe he would find some other treasures in his wandering.

The sun was high up in the clouds and she guessed it to be at least noon. She loved the warmth the sun gave off and sometimes she would just lay under it staring at the endless sky of blue. It was not very hot a cool breeze was make sure of that and she smiled enjoying this day. She was sounded by trees and tall grass herself almost blending in with nature. If any creature tried to harm her to would be able to defend herself with her small but sharp horns. She wondered if anything worthwhile might happen today she had not met anyone recently and was growing bored with the same pattern. She wished her days would change they were almost to perfect.

Grazing till he was satisfied, enjoying the long grass, finding it juicy as it had been shaded and not dried by the sun. Starting to wander along again, looking round, seeing flowers dotted about, some in bloom, some budding, there would be carpets of flowers here soon. Not that he liked flowers over much but the thought did make him smile, such thoughts were plesant, much improved from those that came hand in hand with his work. Stopping as he spies a shape in among the trees, he couldn't see it clearly till he was focused on it, and small wonder the mare was well camoflaged in the shade of the trees and leaves with her browns and greens. He stopped and looked at her closely now that he could see her, his gaze traveling from her antlers to her tail, she looked more deer than soquili, especially as she had no mane, he had never encountered a bald mare before, how.... odd....

She quickly grew bored of the day her thinking changed from loving it to wanting her days to be different. Everyday was the same she would explore some part of these lands then go back to what she called a home though it was not much of one. This by far was her favorite part of the forest but she still grew bored she knew no a single soul in this forest she longed to meet someone anyone at this point. She was not afraid of Kalonas and walkers she was brave and if she ever met one she would ask them many questions not run and hide she was very proud but very caring and loving. She did not care who her future mate was as long as he treated her well but she would much love if he stayed by her side forever. As she dreamed about all of this in her head she did not know that in the distance a stallion was watching her. She sat down unaware he was even there just a few feet away.

Ezio stood and watched some more, this mare seemed to have no sense of danger, most would at least be looking around when on their own. Definitely odd... Not sure what to do, part of him thinking to move on, she was odd, but not in a good exotic way. Another part of him wanted her to learn caution, there were dangerous things other than him around and they would do worse than him. Looking down a moment and seeing a twig, he watched her closely from under his hood and deliberately stepped on it, making a loud crack. If she didn't notice that he would have to go over there and tell her that she needed to be careful or danger would befall her. Sighing to himself, he was starting to sound like his brother, at least in his mind he was.

She bent over to nibble at some grass when she head the sharp crack and saw the birds fly out of the trees. she quickly backed up and looked around herself turning slowly she tried to remain calm but in truth she was frightened she would jump at the chance of meeting a kalona but if one was sneaking up on her..she could not bear to think about that. she was on edge now every sudden sound causing her eyes to go back in fear she did not really want to fight anyone..she just wanted someone to understand her she felt better when comparing herself to a kalona making them seem week and herself strong. she looked like a scared rabbit now though all of her strength suddenly no place to be be found. She shakes her mane out though knowing she can stay strong and she composes herself frowning into the trees around her no longer a scared little rabbit. a coward cannot do anything once fear sets in you are bound to loose your battle.. she walks to the area where she heard the sound come from bracing herself for whatever might be lurking there.

He was all shadow, just the vague shape of a soquili in the shade of the trees, and he watched. She was brave, though to his mind bravery was foolish if you didn't know what you were doing, or up against. "You would have been better off running signorina." His voice was tinged with his accent, darkly sexy, but then he was a mystery. Moving out of the shadows so she could see him more clearly, though even then his face was still hidden in the shadow of his hood. "Bravery will only get you so far piccola, it is why many compare it to stupidity. What did you hope to do if my intent had been to do you harm?" Not that he had been thinking that, she had seemed odd to him and her reactions had been the most interesting of all.

As she was walking to the shade of the trees she thought she saw something there watching her. Upon closer look she saw nothing but the shadows of the trees was she seeing things now? she shook her head but then almost jumped when she heard a voice come from the shadows she manged to stay calm and her face was mixed between fear and wondering. "Running? i will not do with the shadows tell me to i will take my chances meeting whoever you are.." the one who spoke sounded different..she knew it was a stallion from his voice it sounded slightly exotic she wished him to speak more. that was when she saw him he was unlike any she had ever met and that was few. He was clothed in some kind of cloth but he had a hood over his face and she could not make out what he looked like. His body however was another story she was not scared at what she saw but in awe her mouth gaping now as she studied him closer. He looked ready for battle hopefully now with her he looked like he could take down another soq in seconds. she shook the thoughts out of her mind but she wanted to know about this deeply exotic soq. he looked like a rouge possibly..but she really had no idea
"Bravery i have some but i can say you are right it only goes so far. I am not stupid i am not brave you may call me what you may as will i you..If you had been here to harm me i would of accpected fate but would not of gone down without a fight not that i stand any chance.." she took in his weapons again and heald back a shutter how she would hate to die under the blades of steel. "You look and sound as if your not from here..you are very exotic if i am allowed to say that i do not wish to say the wrong thing and get hit by steel.."

Ezio regarded the mare, she seemed to contradict herself, she claimed not to be brave but she wouldn't run, she didn't want to die yet she had come looking for the noise in the shadows. A noise he had deliberately made. Yes she was certainly a walking contradiction. "I would use your name if you would but give it signorina. You may call me Ezio." Yes she was odd all right, no introduction beyond an invitation to call her anything he wished, he had known ladies of similar mindset but he knew better than to imply she was of that caste, most females were inclined to become rather upset when such insinuations were made. "I am not from here, but for now here is where I remain." His responses were almost as cryptic as he was, he had not said where he came from or why he was there, nothing he said had given her any clue, though he had given a name it told her little. Still his dark exotic voice made everything sound like a delight.
He moved slowly around the mare, not making a sound, giving away that he had made the noise on purpose, it was curious that he was so heavily armed and still nothing made any noise. He stopped facing her, his hooded face regarding her. "Exotic I have not been called before." But then he didn't usually linger for conversation.

She started to watch this strange stallion even though she could not see his face she watched his movements. She smiled at him when he introduced himself now they were getting somewhere she was making friends with an exotic stranger that was exciting. "Ezio my name is Larena..it is an honor to meet you..stallion" she did not know what to call him he looked like a ninja or a knight but then again none that she had ever seen looked like him. he looked ready to defend and ready to kill if he had to just look at what he had on and the weapons on his body. She was not like other mares she did not play with the stallions she met however she did get to know them if they allowed her to. SHe had never gotten close to anyone before but she could tell this stallion was one she wanted as a friend she did not want to get on his bad side for sure. "I could tell your from far away..those around here are not at all like you..you are very mysterious" she paus for a moment before going on "I came from far away and was new to these lands not long ago"
She wanted to know more about him he seemed very careful about what he said. She wanted to know what he was but that would take time till he felt like telling her. All she knew was his name she knew not if he was dangerous but even if he was she did not mind her goal was to make friends with those who were like that. She put herself into the fire just to make friends with those no others would or wanted to of course she did not know if this stallion was a case of that. She noticed now he had started to circle her as if she was prey but she followed him with her eyes smirking at him now and then she knew he had drawn her here with the snap of the twig he seemd to be luring her into a trap perhaps but she did not care. She did wonder how he manged to be so light on his feet dispited his armor weighing him down. "Well i guess there is a first time for everything i think that really fits you.. Ezio the Exotic" she nods at that still follwing him making sure he makes no sudden moves

He watched her quietly, wondering what she was thinking, though much of what was going on in her head was clear on her face. If he really knew her thoughts though he might be tempted to laugh, knight was definitely not fitting for him, ninja was closer but still not right, but then telling her the truth would lead to places best not explored. "It is my pleasure to meet you also picola." His accent making the words sound delightfully naughty and forbidden, though they were polite enough. It all added to his mystery, and as he moved leaning closer to her, he knew he had her interest. "Are you lonely in this new place picola?" He still hadn't said anything about himself other than a name, but he seemed interested in her.
"There is always a first time, and if your lucky many times after. si?" There was more than one meaning to his words, though she might be too innocent to understand double entandre. He did little but smile after that, despite being charming and polite he looked dangerous, heavily armed, even several she couldn't see. Tilting his hooded head as he moves away, the cloth was quite soft, his cloak fluttering a little in a faint breeze revealing rows of silver throwing knives strapped about him. Yes he was dangerous, but he seemed to be feeling passive enough today.

She watched him keeping close eyes on his actions making sure he made no sudden movements. She still wondered what he was but he was so secretive all she knew was but his name that drew her in though the mystery that shrouded him. she nods at him then "Why thank you" she loved is accent it sounded so far away and made her dream of things far away perhaps the desert or the ocean. The way he talked it was almost teasing playful yet intriguing. She noticed he was moving closer to her and she could see him somewhat clear now but not enough to make out more details. "As it turns out i am" she nods wanting him to stay for a while more enjoying this time with someone else. she frowns now trying to make meaning to his next words "First time for being lonely first time for being with another...i do agree there is a first for everything..and i suppose i do want to be lucky.." she nods again but then the breeze comes in and she can see the glint of more metal making out daggers strapped to his side his hood still covering his face. He was surely a different one for sure. She was doing the tango with danger but she liked it

Turning to face her again and walking very close, the smell of leather hung around him and something else that was faintly smoky, woody. His mouth coming right up to her ear his breath tickling the fur there softly. "I am certain you will be very lucky picola." His hood rushing her cheek again as he moves back, moving away again seeming distracted by something, clearly his attention was not all on her despite what it seemed.
"Shall we walk Larena il mio dolce, a moving target is always harder to attack." Not that he was expecting to be attacked, but then that was usually when you had to be more on your guard. Besides staying in one place too long for him and those of his ilk always boded ill. So with a smile he tilted his head, encouraging her to follow after him as he started off on one of the paths around them. Waiting till she had started to walk with him before he spoke, watching where they were going more than her now. "So tell me picola what brought you to this place where you find yourself so alone?"

She noticed him walk near her again but this time she caught his scent deeper under the exotic smell was something even more...exotic it smelled like he had been romping through the forest he smelled of trees and other things she could not identify. She felt him though moving closer and then she heard him whisper into her ear she could feel him breathing softly "Lucky..i would hope if you say so i will believe you" she felt odd around this stallion he seemed to be playing a game with her he seemed like the type who toyed with mares getting them to fall for him then leaving..like a silent type..it was working though if thats what he wanted it was working. He moved back suddenly and she felt cloth on her face he seemed alert about something but she had no idea what.
"We shall walk if that is your wish..I would rather be moving then a standing target" she nods not knowing what he means but going along with it. she hopped they would not get attacked. She started to walk with him hoping she was doing the right thing..following a strange horse with weapons on is body? not always the best thing to do but she did anyways "Well im not sure i just ended up here alone..I know my way though now..I have learned much in my time here"

Ezio enjoyed seduction, there were benefits to having female friends, especially if they were enthralled by him. Though for the most part her thoughts were right, he rarely came back, and if he did he would soon move on. Seduction was a game to him, and just part of how he acted around mares. It would probably be different if he had ever loved one of them, but so far his heart had remained untouched. It was a callous careless game, though this time he hadn't intended to seduce the mare, And soon he would be back on his way.
Her explanation was a little disappointing, especially as it was a rare day that someone just appeared in a place with know knowledge of where they came from and how they got there. Though perhaps she did know where she had come from. "Where did you come from Picola?" He had travelled quite a bit himself so maybe he had some knowledge of where she had originated. That might give some clue as to how she ended up in this place.
