With the stress of Marc, distraction of Kenny and the unresponsive staff it took Von forever to hunt down Vi. But find her she did only in the infirmary, bidding her time she waited til the hall was empty before breaking in to find Vi. " VI!! Geez you look like crap." While the words seemed insulting the tone was filled with warm and friendliness.

Vi felt so very very bad. She felt like her insides were going to come outside at any second. Her head was constantly spinning and she would have done anything to stop. Not only did she have pneumonia but she was lonely. No one had yet to come visit her. She was sure it was because they were very busy, but it still hurt her feelings. She would love to at least talk to someone to get her mind off her sickness. She had never been sick away from home. When she was at home Big Papa always made sure that she got new clothes or a new pony. Now she didn't even have anyone to talk to . Her thoughts made Vi frown just as Von walked in. She was so happy to see Von when she heard the dreaded words.....'you look like crap'. Vi's tendency to over dramatize came out to play. Huge tears sprang to her eyes and started to fall quickly down her cheeks. "You would look like crap too if you were dying a very painful death Von!" Vi burst into a fit of crying accompanied with snot bubbles.

Von's smile fell as Vi broke down in tears. " Oh come on Vi you know I was joking. Plus rumor has it you're not dieing." She sat down gently on the bed. " Well I bet some gossip will cheer you up, though it might not." She really didn't know how to tell Vi about her and Marc and about Kenny. Well might as well start with what she knew Vi would be interested in. " I've snogged Kenny." Even as she said it her face became bright red and she ran her hand through her hair. " Actually he and I are sorta dating."

A myriad of emotions crossed Violet's face. She must be sicker then she thought. She was hallucinating! There was no way Von was snogging before her. No way would she have a BOYFRIEND before her! Oh God she really was dying! Vi started to scream for the doctor."Doctor I am dying! Help!" Vi jumped out of the bed and grabbed on to Von's shirt. "I am hallucinating Von! I am going to die! I don't want to die Von! I don't have a will! I need a dying wish! Von you must wear that nice pink thing that I bought you and I leave everything to you except my ponies. Marc needs something after all. Oh and give give Moa my books! Doctor hurry before I go to the great beyond. Tell Big Papa I love him!" Vi started to cough and choke. "It's coming Von! Your not allowed to get a new best friend! Ever!"

Von jumped up startled at Vi's dramatic scene." Vi! Calm down! You're not hallucinating. Kenny and I have started the band and are writing songs together. And I still think Clarissa isn't right in the head, and is treating Marc horribly. Also History of Magic is still the most boring class. And lastly, I refuse to wear that pink thing you stuffed in my closet. Boyfriend or not no." Von sat back on the bed and decided that if Vi didn't calm down she was going to have to slap her, though not hard of course.

Vi stopped screaming. She was certain if she was hallucinating then Vi would surly wear that pink thing. Now she was mad that she would not wear it even if she was dying. She really wanted her to wear it! but...wait there was something more important here. VON SNOGGED! but why would she want to....VI never showed an interest in boys. "I know you are in denial about me dying Von so I will humor you." Vi rested back on the pillow. "If you did snog this kenny...and I am not saying you did, why would you then make him your boyfriend? I don't even know him that well and your already dating him? You have a boyfriend before me? This all makes no sense. And what does any of this have to do with Marc and that weird girl?" Vi felt like shopping. She really needed to get away from all of this new news! Nothing made her feel better then shopping but she was stuck in this bed."Nurse! Nurse! I want an owl as well! I need to tell my father I want a new pony!" Vi looked over at Von. "Do you want a new pony too Von? I am sure my father would be happy to keep it in our stables?

Von was happy that Vi had calmed down a little but sighed knowing she had to give Vi the long story. " Ok so like I started hanging out with Kenny. Especially after we started working on songs together. Well Marc and him officially met one day and something happened and when I confronted Kenny about it he told me Marc had a crush on me. So things started to click and I had no idea what to do. Then Marc showed up and Kenny tried to help by saying he and I were going out. Only I blurted out that I knew about his crush. Well I managed to patch that up but never settled the dating thing. So one day Kenny pulls me to the side to discuss it and he kissed me. Then Marc punched him, and has almost completely stopped talking to me. He said we'd still be friends but he can't watch me be someone's girlfriend. Anywho I knew I had to find you and get your advice." Von hadn't felt so emotionally drained since it'd all happened. Not to mention she carried Marc's drawings with her in case he wanted them back.

"But...but I don't even know this Kenny! How can he be dating you and I only met him once! I go in the hospital and everyone loses their mind! How can I give you advice and you seem to have everything handled? If you have already talked to Marc what more can you do? "

Von let her head drop, she had so hoped Vi would have something to help her out, she felt like there was some detail she was over looking but couldn't place it. " Are you sure I've done everything alright?" Her true insecurity was starting to come out.

Violet sighed. There was no way her best friend was having boy trouble. It was just impossible. Not before her. She could tell that she already did not like this Kenny guy. He caused too much trouble between her friends. Vi decided to talk to Von gently, "Von you can't change how Marc feels all you can do is be his friend. Maybe I can talk to Marc for you. Tell him how silly he is being. There is no reason for him to be so dramatic. For Goodness we are only 11!"

Von grasped Vi's hand and her face lit up. " Oh thank you Vi! I knew you could help." Now that it had been settled Von moved on to her music, which of course included alot of Kenny this and Kenny that. When she was done talking about the 2 songs she was working on she remembered Marc's art. Reaching into her bag she showed Vi the drawings. "Marc threw these in the trash but then told me to hold on to them." She made sure to show Vi the one of her and Kenny's kiss and the one Marc had dreamed.

Violet was absolutely horrified at the way Von was acting. She was talking about Kenny this and Kenny that! It was never ending Kenny! Then she pulled out Marc's pictures. Marc must be some love sick puppy! She had to admit they were well done but they were so lovey dovy! What is wrong with them! "Um...What else are friends for?....What hor...nice pictures! You should keep them." Violet gave a nervous laugh."You sound as though you have been busy without me."

Granted most of Von's Kenny talk involved her music and the band they were starting. " They're good. I knew he was a good artist and he'd offered to do the band art but that was before, so I'm not sure if I need to find someone else or not." She paused and put the pictures away. " You know how music can absorb me. Though it took forever to get anyone to tell me where you were."

At the mention of finding Vi she remembered she was supposed to be sick. "Ohhhhh I hurt! My stomach!", Vi yelled. " I don't feel good Von. Come here so I can tell you something important."

Von shook her head, she loved her friend but she could be so melodramatic at times. " Vi, you were fine just a minute ago. Plus rumor has it they'll be releasing you soon." Von smiled and patted her friend's hand. " I should prolly go and let you rest. Anything I can get you til you're sprung?"
