Having just arrived to the academy, Shun hadn't quite moved in fully yet, not that he had a lot to deal with in the first place. He had received his room number and other important things, but for now the place was rather empty aside from what it had already come with.
Not really dealing with that process for the time being, he was out and about to get a feel for the campus. The map was only helpful to a certain point for him after all.
It didn't seem like there were many students outside at the moment, not that he cared. That just meant it wasn't as noisy for now. He did spot a few stragglers here and there in the distance. The reaper wasn't the only one getting the sights and sounds in as well. Perched upon his shoulder, was the nergal Miced Tea, Bent-tail.
Bent could be seen looking all over in every direction, spotting new things here and there. Occasionally, he'd run to the other shoulder, or on top of the student's head to get a better view of one particular area or another. Now and then, he'd also let out a small curious squeak. Where was everyone? It was a school so there should be lots of people around right? He wanted to see these people. Yes.

It was a new day for quite a few students it seemed. More new victims as Mitsu had heard people joking about. It made her a little edgy when she had been walking around school grounds. The reason the phrase was in past tense was because she no longer was looking. No that action had immediately been halted when she had been chased up a tree.
Milo, her Boafox, had been wrapped across her shoulder as she had been exploring. The little creature was fairly new to her but he kept her company enjoying the walk. That was, until a demon cat had decided Milo's tail looked like quite the enticing toy. It had pounced on Mitsu as they had been walking and a fury of hissing, yelping, and fur was all Mitsu could remember before she realized her Boafox was in a nearby tree, the demon cat sitting at the base. The cat's tail was batting back and forth, its eyes locked on the creature above it. No doubt the cat could climb but apparently it wanted to toy with the fluffy creature.
Not wanting to leave Milo stranded Mitsu had tried to move over to the tree to get him down but the demon cat's interest wasn't only in Milo's tail but her own as well. Before she knew it she was up in the tree as well, wrapped around a branch like it was her only life line. Her mask had fallen off in the process and lay at the base of the tree. As if to add injury to insult the demon cat moved over to neatly sit on it, looking up the tree rather pleased with itself.

From somewhere nearby, Shun heard a bit of a commotion, but he ignored it. Most likely, it wasn't any of his business. On the other hand, Bent-Tail had moved to get a better look and the little mouse caught quite the sight! A cat had just chased a wolf up a tree!
He tugged on the Reaper's hair to try and get his attention and pointed out at this very scene.
Glancing to see what the mouse had wanted, Shun soon raised a brow at the little scenario before him. There was a cat at the base of the tree with a student and a boa fox up in its limbs. The girl up there looked pretty terrified right about now, though he thought it was because of the demon cat below.
Hm.
As interesting as that was, he began to turn to walk on his way, but Bent started to chatter and squeak into his ear to try and stop him.
"What? She can get herself down," he mumbled, figuring the little critter was trying to get him to help or something along those lines.

Feeling a little safer now that he wasn't alone, Milo moved along the branch until he was sitting on Mitsu's head. Her frightened demeanor didn't seem to deter him at the moment as he curled up in place looking down at the demon cat still perched on the ground. Maybe it would stay there.
Mitsu, was in a panic, she didn't like heights. She hated heights...or rather she was terrified of them. Once she was up the tree and realized how high she had gotten she froze unable to move. The cat was the least of her worries at the moment because she was stuck for a lack of a better word.
She had just managed to glance over to see another student and was about to call out for help but a sudden fit of vertigo hit her. Now off balance she dug her claws into the bark of the tree to prevent from falling but managed to end up hanging from the branch instead of sitting on it. "Ahh!"
Fearing that he was fall along with her Milo had moved back to the branch casually watching the wolf girl struggle to hang on. She was like one of those motivation posters that read 'Hang in there' across the top.

For a few more moments, Shun lingered before deciding to ignore Bent-Tail's chattering. So he just shoved his hands into his pockets and moved on his way to continue exploring. The girl should be down on her own sooner or later he supposed.
At least that was what he thought.
About a half hour later, he was on his way back... only to see her still in the tree.
"...."
That left him more speechless than usual. Furrowing his brow, he was about to move on his way again, but this time, the mouse was more adamant in his squeaking and whatnot to try and get Shun to be a little more helpful than that. He even tugged on his ear!
"Fine! Fine.." hissed Shun while jerking his head away from the mouse. Grumbling to himself, he walked up to the tree and stared up at the terrified girl. In one moment he had suddenly appeared in the tree branches with her, where he went to take a hold of her. And in the next, both were on solid ground again.

For the first part of that half hour the demon cat had sat below Mitsu and Milo for around fifteen minutes still rather smug and pleased with itself. After that it had lost interest and strolled off to find something else to do.
Mitsu was nearly unmoving the entire time, though her arms were growing tired. In an effort to prevent more vertigo she had closed her eyes shut tight, but her ears picked up on movement, twitching at the sound of approaching footsteps.
"H...hello?" Her voice was rather meek and quiet so it didn't carry far. She was about to open her mouth to try and ask for help from whoever it was but she heard the hiss of his words 'fine fine!' Nothing had left her mouth yet....who was he talking to?
Daring to open her eyes just a little Mitsu started to look downward but by the time she did the boy had vanished. "W...what?!" The branch she was on moved a little, the bark rustling under foot. She looked up in time to see the boy from earlier reaching down to take hold of her before she was suddenly on solid ground again.
The sudden teleporting left her disoriented and a little motion sick. Placing a hand on her head the other reached out to grab the boy's arm to steady herself. It was when her hand touched her head though that she remembered what was missing. Her mask!
Scrambling, she left Shun's side to pick up the wooden wolf mask and replaced it on her face. It didn't seem to be damaged which was a relief.
"Um..t-thank you." Mitsu replied softly now that she felt a little more secure. He had really come to save the day, she would have been stuck in that tree for a long time if he hadn't come along, though she found it difficult to tell him that completely. Instead she offered her name. "M-my name is Mitsu."
Milo wasn't far behind the wolf girl, jumping from a low hanging branch and neatly landing on the girl's shoulders. His tail came up to wrap around her neck as he laid down, staring at the new student curiously.

When they had reached the ground again, Shun let go of her but didn't step back right away as she had grabbed onto his arm to steady herself. He let out a deep breath as she got her bearings back. Teleporting like that in quick succession was fairly tiresome for him at this point.
Furrowing his brow, he watched her as she scrambled to grab her mask to put it back on. Strange... But he wasn't really going to question it right now. If she wanted to wear a mask, then whatever.
"Name's Shun," He uttered shortly while looking her over with his usual expression. She didn't look like she was hurt so he felt that his job might be done here. Her minipet had rejoined her as well.
With a loud but happy squeak, Bent-Tail bounced on his shoulder while sitting up to wave at this girl. She looked like a nice one, though a bit shaken at the moment. He was going to have to try and find ways to keep Shun in the area so that he might be able to play with Mitsu and her fox!

Mitsu's ears laid back a little when Shun looked her over with that intense expression. Those ears were really the only thing visible to give much of an indication on how she was feeling. Her stance lacked confidence so it was almost always the same.
"S-Shun." She repeated his name and gave a nod, storing it away to remember for later. He seemed really quiet though, he hadn't said anything outside of his name. Mitsu had been told to socialize and learn that other creatures were nothing to be feared. She was a monster and should act as such...but she still found herself hiding whenever possible.
"A-are you new too?" She stuttered. Her gaze quickly shifted over to the little miced tea on his shoulder, raising her hand up tentatively to wave back.
The boafox was suddenly intrigued with the movement on the boy's shoulder, seeing the little miced tea jump up and down. Standing from the laying position he had taken up Milo paced across Mitsu's shoulders, making a small yipping noise as his long tail started to sway back and forth. He wanted to play as well.

The stance and body language of the one before him just screamed timidness. Shun had to wonder if she was still really that shaken over the tree or even the cat. That seemed a bit improbable to him. It didn't quite occur to him that his expression might intimidate her.. that was how he usually looked and all.
Quietly, he nodded at her question, then began to turn away to leave her be. Bent-Tail decided this wasn't going to happen so he scrambled down to the ground and started to climb up Mitsu instead.
"Bent-Tail.." started the reaper, noticing the mouse doing this. The only response he got was the mouse sticking his tongue out at his owner while making his way up to Milo, squeaking happily.
Shun didn't seem all too happy there, but he wasn't about to leave his pet behind. With a sort of grimace, he shoved his fists into his pockets while waiting. Whenever Bent wanted to stick around someone, he wasn't going to really let up on that, and he wasn't about to try and swipe the critter while it was on the girl lest he end up smacking her instead. So he just kind of let out a huff and looked back at the wolf girl.

Mitsu stood awkwardly still when all Shun did was nod and start to turn to leave. He probably didn't want to be bothered by her, like the creatures at her old school. With a light sigh she was about to turn and leave as well but felt something climbing up her boot.
"Bent-tail?" Now that the boy had said something..the little miced tea did have a little crook in his tail. In an effort to keep the little thing from having to climb all the way up Mitsu reached down a hand so that he could climb up that way.
Milo was happily anticipating a new playmate, his little paws tapping against Mitsu's shoulder in excitement. He had started bouncing shortly after, prancing off Mitsu's head making her mask sit ajar on her face.
"M....Milo," Mitsu whined. Not that he would listen. He only really did what she said when there was food involved.

Shun appeared to be a little frustrated and he tried to call to his pet again, sounding more firm, "Bent."
The mouse acknowledged him, but didn't listen. Instead, he just hopped on into Mitsu's hand and stared up at her for a moment or so. He waved to her again and gave a little chirp-like noise, then looked towards Milo, bouncing in the girl's hand with anticipation.
"Sorry about this," Mumbled the reaper as he stared at his mouse. He wouldn't really be able to move on until he felt like he had enough fun. The miced tea was pretty obedient for the most part. It was when he wanted to interact with others that he really did whatever the hell he wanted.

"I-Its okay," Mitsu said quietly watching the little miced tea bounce in her hand. It seemed he was just as excited as Milo.
While she was pretty nervous around monsters, reapers, and the like, Mitsu was fairly comfortable around the mini pets. They weren't demanding, they didn't hold someone to an unreasonable standard, and they didn't judge.
Bringing the little miced tea up to her shoulder so that Milo could calm down a little, Mitsu watched as the little boafox came to a halt, now sniffing the little miced tea over rather enthusiastically. When he was done it was back to bouncing, hopping up onto Mitsu's head like he was going to try to hide and pounce.

Once he was on her shoulder, Bent-Tail sniffed teh boa fox in return to get a better feel for him. With a small but happy squeak, the mouse bounced a bit as well, then darted down towards Mitsu's chest and shirt to hide. Try pouncing now Milo!
Shun was considering trying to grab his pet, but that turned into a definite no soon enough. He was not about to try and grab a mouse out of some girl's shirt. With a huff, he kept his hands in his pockets while standing by quietly.

The way Milo was crouched on Mitsu's head was flattening out her ears in an awkward way. He watched the little miced tea carefully, only to see the little creature dart down his owner's shirt. How sneaky!
Little paws pressed against Mitsu's mask for balance, leaning over to see if he could get a view of Bent. The boafox's tail began to sway behind it playfully, awaiting an opportunity to pounce.
Mitsu honestly hadn't been too bothered by the little mouse darting down her shirt, though she did make a small noise of surprise. She wasn't sure what to do since she had become the playground for the two mini pets to play on. It wasn't until Milo started to press against her mask that she started to become distressed, holding the covering in place.

It was... slightly amusing to see this, Shun had to admit. However, it was a little ridiculous at the same time. From the looks of it, the antics of the two were starting to bother Mitsu as well which had him consider a couple things. After a moment or so of thought, he decided to help her out. It may after all, help speed things along.
"Bent. Milo," he called out to the two while producing what looked like some dried berries from his pocket. The reaper wasn't sure if it would lure the fox but it would likely at least grab the miced tea's attention.
And so it did. Peeking out of her shirt, Bent-Tail looked to see the dried berries and quickly scrambled on down as Shun crouched towards the ground. He wasn't about to miss out on a free snack, though he was going to be wary at the same time. He didn't want play time to be cut short after all.
