 Underneath the bright sunlight a equally brightly colored fox was sitting at the edge if a cliff, looking down at the water below. The female had a wide grin on her face and her tail was moving all over the place in excitement. She was getting ready to start her day of adventure off by cliff diving. The water looked so inviting, and she knew the area below was deep enough to where she wouldn't hit the floor. Nor were there any rocks she could hurt herself off. She stood up and wiggled her behind, getting ready to jump.

Rui was walking along the bank of the lake. He let a a long yawn then looked at the reflection in the water, it seemed normal. Save for a bright rainbow reflection. Rui's head head snapped up to see Psyche at the edge of a cliff. "Psyche! What are you doin' up there!?" He could already feel the gray hairs coming in.. and he was still young!

Psyche stood up from her crouch and waved. "Hi Rui~!" She called to him. Knowing Rui he was freaking out over what she was planning on doing, if he had any idea what it was. She couldn't quite hear what he said, but no doubt it was some fatherly thing again. Rui tended to be that way with Psyche. Why, she did not know. She was only wanting to have some fun. An idea came in her head. She sat down. "Why don't you come up here and I'll show you!"

Rui yelled at her. "You better not do anything stupid!" He huffed and made his way up around the lake. He looked up at the cliff. I swear that girl will be the end of me. He finally reached the top. "What are you doing?" Giving me a heart attack early in the morning! Rui carefully looked over the edge, straight down into the lake. His stomach twisted into a knot. "On second thought... Don't tell me."

Psyche looked at Rui with a twinkle in her eye. "How about I show you then?" She stuck her tongue out at him. "Besides, its fun, not stupid." With a yipping sound Psyche launched herself off the cliff and plunged into the water below.

"GAH! PSYCHE!!" Rui almost ran of the ledge as well, that was if his feet came to a stubborn halt at the edge. He pawed the ledge, he couldn't see that insane girl in the water. Crap... was she hurt!? He took a few step back and threw himself off. As he was falling he yelled for dear life and flopped hard into the water with a large splash. He flailed about in the water before he became settled. "You crazy girl! Doing stuff like this!"

Psyche broke the water a few inches from Rui. "You need to loosen up Rui! How many times have I said that now?" She laughed. Rui was always so uptight. His concept of having fun was quiet stuff and stuff to do alone. "Besides, you cannot tell me that that jump did not give you a thrill." She splashed water at her friend.

"More than enough times!" Rui shook the water off and looked out of the corner of his eyes to make sure is ribbon was still intact. "No. No thrill. Heart Attack. I don't how I could ever keep up with you." He paddled his way to the shore. Once on dry land he shook himself off more. All while mumbling about how insane that girl was.

Psyche remained in the water, swimming about. "You say that everytime you know? And I've never seen you have a heart attack." She grinned. "And for all your grumbling you seem to be perfectly fine with what I do, since you haven't done anything to stop me." She thought for a moment. "Unless you're getting too old to do so. Cause you sure sound like an old fox."

Rui almost glared at Psyche. "Oh! Here it comes!" He put a paw of his chest, frost up, and flopped over. He played the roll more and rolled his eyes to the back of his head. He stayed still and barely breathed. I'll show you old...

Psyche rolled her eyes. "Stop joking around Rui." When he didn't move Psyche swam closer. "Rui?" Closer. "Come on now Rui, this isn't funny." She got up on dry land and padded over to him, nosing his side. "Rui?"

Rui tried hard not to snicker, she was falling for it. "HA!" He jumped at her. Could an old person that! I think not! Rui got up and shook off a bit, even brushing some dirt off his chest smugly. "Now hows it feel to get scared witless?" Even Rui himself thought the joke was a little mean, but oh well.

With a shriek Psyche landed on her behind. She glared and stuck her tongue out at Rui. "That's mean Rui!" She stood up and shook herself off. "Let's see if I'll come running to your side next time you are hurt." She turned away from Rui and sat down with a huff. "Can't believe you would do something like that." Psyche pawed at the ground. "Honestly had me worried," she muttered.

Rui gasped a bit. "You worried? I find that quite shocking." He went by her and sat down. "Now you understand what I go through every time you try to do some crazy stunt." He huffed and his chest puffed out slightly. "It's not a good feeling."

Psyche turned her head away from Rui. "I do the stuff I do for fun. Not to harm anyone else or to scare them." She huffed again. "And it shouldn't be so shocking that I can feel worried about someone." She eyed him. "Even when they obviously are doing it only for attention." With that she stuck a paw out and pushed Rui towards the lake.
