It was planned between himself and Caroline. A bit of dance and music to bring enjoyment and there seemed to be no better time than after the Ordering Ceremony of the Wagons. There was so much to celebrate, Annjette's return, Anzeka's growth, and new life.

What better reason was there a gypsy to make music and dance other than to celebrate all things good and life especially? It was little wonder that he suddenly left Annjette to be watched after for a few moments and went to his wagon and brought out his fiddle.

The fiddle was made of a dark and rich mahogany wood. It was well loved and well cared for. It also of course came with a bow for Voltaire to use on the fiddle with. The half-elf approached the group around the fire and stood at a good empty area.

He looked around at the gathering for a moment and simply waited, anyone that agreed to help would soon make their way to him so they could get the dance and song underway. Voltaire hoped the others would join in as well.

|Warning, uber-clothes description ahead. xDD|

From amid the throng of gypsies gathered, one emerges into the cleared area that Voltaire stands in. This is not the everyday Caroline, whose rust-coloured skirts click with wooden bangles and whose loose forest-green shirts hide any form she has and whose red-brown hair is kept under control by a ragged scarf or cap.
This Caroline is radience. Though she says nothing as she takes her place next to Voltaire, she is by no means silent. Over a royal purple skirt she wears a belt of coins, jangling merrily and winking in the firelight. Her rather scanty bra-like shirt dangles with coins, adding a touch of regal beauty to the vibrant red shirt. This change in shirt style shows off a graceful, well-built figure. The normally-modest Caroline, however, shows no blush or sign of shame. Instead she beams at the small crowd.
Having chosen to use the zills instead of her misty white veil, she takes them from a purple pouch at her belt. She sets the pouch near Voltaire and slips the antiquated gold instruments onto her fingers and thumbs.
She glances at Voltaire, waiting for the music to begin before doing anything herself.

A light jingle could be heard making it way through the crowd, Mirelas petite figure soon appearing at the edge of the clearing. The young gypsy didnt look anywhere near as resplendent as Caroline, but she had managed to find some dressier attire amongst the belongings within Narkri Chooma. A corset style dress, pale blue in colour, hugged her curves before flaring out at her hips into a skirt made up of many layers. Small bells had been sown at random intervals at the skirts hem, although one couldnt tell whether it had been these or the tambourine that she carried along with her.

Noticing the others at the far side of the clearing, she headed quietly toward them. Unlike Caroline, Mirela was made rather uneasy and nervous by the small crowd. She had never done anything like this before and although she doubted that her new sisters and brothers would care about her inexperience, nervousness remained coiled tightly within her. As she reached the assembled pair she offered them a light smile, waiting to take her lead from Caroline when the music began.

Caroline surveys Mirela and grins at her. "You're pretter'n I am," she murmurs to her with a wink.

Voltaire nodded to Mirela, "You seem a bit tense, no worries. We are all friends here." He then made ready to play his instrument, "We shall begin now." The half-elf intoned and after that the music began.

First there were audible thumps of his foot as he set up a rhythm for himself and set stage for the music he was about to play. After he felt comfortable with the rhythm he set his bow to the strings and began to play, first it was slow yet joyful. Slowly the tune gained in speed, but he was mindful not to go too fast otherwise the dancers would not be able to follow it.

The song played was a popular dancing tune that he had picked up during his travels.

|Rurr, does anyone else accidently use your character's name when doing a colour tag? xD color=caroline. Wonder if my computer will know what I mean?|
After a few experimental hip swirls, making her coins shimmer like a metallica waterfall, she's off. She'd never heard the tune before, but quickly adapts to the rhythm and speed of the music. She dances in circles 'round the fire, lifting her arms high above her head to clink her zills in a pattern that sounds like delicate galloping.
As the music becomes faster, she twirls faster to match it, her skirt rising gently with momentum, revealing....yes, an anklet with tiny bells, unheard over the fiddle, zills, and tambourine. The firelight casts an amber glow on her hair and skin, making her mahogany hair glow like the fire itself. An armband entwines her right arm--an image of two golden snakes.
Jubilantly she laughs and continues to dance and to twirl, doing lots of snaky movements with her hips and bust.

Tier's ears perked as she heard the music, she smiled and grabbed her green tambourine off the wall. She shook the dust off it and thrummed it once. "I had better tune you before I run off." She turned the key on every fasten and shook and thumped the little ribbon filled instrument. The picture of a white rabbit and flowers painted on it only chipped and faded a wee bit. She let her hair down, shook it and lept out her wagon door. Eerie was grazing with Chester and mini. "Would you mind keeping an eye on her for me?" She shook the tam. patted him, smiled then bolted to join the festivities.

When she arrived she couldnt resist and began dancing immediatly. Smiling at everyone as she danced fluidly around and in between. Her long hair trailing and swirling and a smile she dare not let go of. This was the first time she had a chance to dance since she was a child and she took full advantage.

Voltaire was overjoyed to see someone of the caravan taking it upon themselves to join in. He welcomed Tierra with a joy filled whoot and continued playing. Though as well known as this tune was there was a part coming up that needed the accompaniment of other instruments.

Anyone watching Voltaire could see a look of concentration cross his face and suddenly the accompaniment was there! It was as if an invisible band was playing making up for the missing instruments needed for the rest of the tune! A small bit of magic he had learned some time before he came into this caravan. It proved useful for this event, very useful indeed.

The energy and joy of the song kept on going and was unlikely to relent at this time.

She spun and kicked the floor to add bass to her well worn, rounded little percussion instrument. She laughed and hot tears fell down her dust covered cheeks. She couldn't remember a time when she felt so good, so free to be herself in the company of others.
"Yaaaay!" She howled excitedly at Voltaire after his magical musical interlude. She tied her instrument to her skirt and danced with the girls.

Caroline continues to move silkily, greeting Tierra with a warm smile. Her zills add a sweet, melodic descant to Voltaire's fiddle (and now band, Caroline notes with amusement) and the tambors of Tierra and Mirela.
Her dance is equally joyous, but she shifts from the jubilant jumping and kicking to her real forte--belly dancing. She moves her hips, torso, and bust in undulating patterns, figure eights, and twists, all without moving her head. Her smile is bright upon her face as she does this, her cheeks growing red with the exertion and happiness. The coin belt around her generous hips clinks and clamours as she dances.
Too bad we don't have a singer, she thinks. That would make this merry little group complete.

Voltaire wasn't a mindreader, and likely wouldn't read minds if he could help it as it was an invasion of privacy almost. The mind was a fragile thing best left alone, but reguardless, a little after Caroline's reflection about needing a singer, Voltaire himself sang out joyfully. The lyrics were fitting to the tone and moment of the song, but they seemed to be in a different language. A language beautiful and joyful and fit perfectly into the context of the song it seemed. Voltaire on his own had a wonderful man's singing voice; His tone was deep and rich with emotion of the moment.

Voltaire sang in what little elven he knew. Those recognizing the elven tongue knew the meaning was that of celebrating the events that had gone on just recently. The language just seemed to fight right in the song even if it wasn't originally sung in this language.

((Couldn't find fitting/suitable lyrics. n_n;; ))

Caroline stops for a moment and just looks at Voltaire, amazed and delighted. Then she starts back into her dance again.

Tier just twirled and danced her cares away. She slapped her tam against her hip and the other against any dancer who happened by.

((just dancing here and having some good ole fun, I am ))
