Scarlett
Scarlett tries to be the best of the best in every situation that she’s in because she was convinced that simply being the best would give her a one way ticket out of her miserable life. Even though that assumption was mostly wrong and she was looking at a long career as a grocery store manager, that kind of life style has made her a driven, hard-working woman. She never gives up on something and never says “I can’t”; her attitude isn’t just “I can”, but “I will”. She simply lives by the motto “practice makes perfect”.

That kind of dedication obviously comes with a few unwelcome side effects. When she is having trouble getting something right, especially something important, she suffers from a one-track mind. Every extra second is devoted to practicing or thinking up new approaches for practice. Every basic need that takes her away from her work (like food or sleep) is allotted only the smallest fraction of her time. This clearly has a negative effect on not just her sleeping patterns or diet, but also often affects her relationships and personal life in the worst ways. She always seems to be thinking about or concerning herself with something else she has to do and sometimes misses the things that are right at hand.

As much patience as she has with herself and her endless attempts to get something right, she rarely has the same patience for other people – especially people whose performance directly affects her own success. If she is done with a task, she expects her partners to be done. If they don’t keep up with her ridiculous standards she will harass them to finish or even try to do their work for them to hurry things along. It’s probably that same attitude that causes her to automatically proclaim herself the leader of all situations, ever, unless an appropriately seasoned leader is already in place and she can sometimes just come off as downright bossy.

On the flip side, if someone ever completes a task before her, they’ll see endless jealousy and pettiness (though it may not be blatantly obvious). To say she is competitive is a little bit of an understatement. She needs to be the best, which means she has to outwit and outperform everyone else around her. She rarely takes a competition lightly, even if it’s for fun, and situations that actually are serious seem to bring out the worst in her.

Despite her bad sportsmanship, she is generally a pleasant person to be around. She sometimes has a hard time relaxing completely and letting go of the stress that comes with her drive to succeed, but that much is to be expected. She still tries to greet the world with a smile on her face every day, even if it’s not with a carefree-Disney-princess attitude. Her mother always said you catch more flies with honey, after all.

It’s sometimes hard for people to cope with Scarlett’s go-get-em attitude, but she does enjoy spending time with her friends just like everyone else. Despite the fact that she’s often thinking about a dozen other things she needs to do, she does appreciate down time and ‘fun’ when she can find a place in her schedule for it. She’s a supportive person and tries to push her confidence onto other people. She can’t stand to see her friends down and will do everything in her power to fix the situation. If she can’t fix it, she will share their worries until it fixes itself. Sometimes she’ll do these things uninvited but in Scarlett’s mind, she knows best, and they’ll thank her for it later.

Deep down, past her bossiness and vanity, her absent-mindedness and her overbearing need to help, she really does try to be a good person that not only pulls her weight, but contributes to society in a positive way. If she happens to fill some personal goals along the way, that’s just icing on the cake.

Konoha
Konoha’s personality seems to typically be one of two extremes with barely any room left in the gray area between. He is either happy and playful or upset and angry, but equally annoying in both modes.

He is a mischievous spirit who, by default, likes to be cheerfully annoying and loves a good trick or two. He will sing songs that grate nerves, talk in riddles when an answer is needed, and purposefully be misleading just to give himself a good laugh. He also thinks very highly of himself and his jokes and tricks – he will laugh at himself when no one else sees the humor and he’ll still think he was the cat’s meow.

On the flip side, he is a territorial and hot-headed character when he feels he has actually been insulted. He is stubborn enough to refuse to answer for hours until he cools down or gets the apology he thinks he deserves or he’ll become snide and snarky and start to lay on the insults.

It takes a very important, serious situation to sober him up and settle him into a gray area that makes him decent to work with.

Why did your human character choose to become a Hunter?
Scarlett grew up in a rinky-dink little country town with a single mother that was not only jaded with her miserable life, but also increasingly jealous of her daughter. Scarlett’s future looked as bleak as her mother’s – she would have children while she was still young, work at the corner store, and then grow old with nothing but a rundown trailer to keep her warm. By the time the recruiter found her, she would have taken any opportunity to escape that fate.

Unfortunately, early on in the island escapade, Scarlett had a bit of a heated discussion with her group members. She wanted to go in one direction and, as self-elected leader of the group, expected everyone to follow her. Maybe because the group was composed entirely of self-elected leaders, or because none of them were very keen on following the bossy woman with no sense of direction, she ended up wandering the island alone - too proud and stubborn to admit she was wrong. She never saw her group members or any other people on the island, but instead ended up lost in the fog for what felt like days with no one to keep her company. She remained that way, walking circles with no sense of direction, until she simply keeled over with no warning.

Weapon Ability
I'llFindAnotherNameLater – After Konoha has absorbed enough fear, Scarlett can make a crossed slice through the air with her weapons. This sends a blast of wind at her opponent, capable of knocking them backwards or down and does mild damage on impact since the force to do that wouldn't feel especially nice.
