Aila wasn't a stranger to the gym. She knew just as well as any other Rocket how important it was to be ready for a mission at the drop of a hat, and that included staying in top form at all times. Between monitoring Izaya, caring for her pokemon, fulfilling her duties, and attending to her basic needs, it was becoming difficult to keep personal training high on her list of priorities. It was a balancing act staying on top of all of her schedules, but this far she was managing, if only barely.
As a result of this narrowing window of opportunity, her training had become increasingly formulaic and routine, and so she had no fabulous plans of whimsy when she arrived at the open floorspace. Stretching, sprinting, and something to maintain her arm strength. Same as always. However, something caught Aila's eye on entering - someone had set up, with cardboard boxes, PVC piping, and a couple of floor mirrors, what appeared to be a makeshift dance studio. Well... that was a thought. When was the last time she had practiced her dancing? Granted, it was difficult to keep up with her skills when they were primarily of the ballroom variety, a genre that required a partner, but that certainly wasn't all she was capable of.
Tentatively, hesitantly, she began to move, her motions a fusion of classical and contemporary. Small, tame movements gave way to more daring abandon as time elapsed without interruption. It felt good to move in such a manner. So much better than sprints or push-ups or whatever else she had been planning to do - at this point she could hardly remember.

Where were her ballet shoes? They were supposed to be in her top drawer right? She had no room mates at the time, so no one couldn't have gone through her stuff. Maybe she misplaced them? Yeah, that's what happened. Ally was about to give up and lay down some fat crocodile tears when she spotted something shiny and pink in the corner of the room. There they are! God damn it who put them over there?!" When she couldn't come up with an answer, she decided to stuff her crap in a bag and head to the gym to change and practice. Granted, Ally hasn't had a ballet instructor for...two years now? Yeah that was the correct number....
She still remembered the moves and everything he taught her. That's what counts in the long run...Making her way to the gym was kind of hard, but she managed to remember where to turn and where not to turn. She prayed the gym was empty so she can use the makeshift dance area for her relaxation and peace. Opening the door quietly, Ally expected no one to be in the gym, but nooooooo....There was already some one there, and apparently, she was a really good dancer.
Well she was going to have to share the little space with her whether she liked it or not man. Can't hog it now, can you? The need to get changed into something comfortable was nagging her so she went to the locker room to change out of that tacky uniform for a bit. Ahhh...The feeling of yoga pants, tank top, and her pink ballet shoes. There wasn't anything better in the world...
Except honeydew bubble tea...Nothing's better than that...Especially with lychee jelly at the bottom. The thought made her want to drool, but that wasn't very lady like. Once she was out of the locker room, she made her way to the girl and tapped her on the shoulder politely. "Mind if we share this area for a bit?"

"Ah--" Despite her initial surprise at the touch, Aila quickly recovered a cool, professional demeanor and turned to face the recent arrival - for once she didn't have to raise her gaze so much to address the other party. "I'm sorry. Go ahead." She stepped aside, gesturing to the impromptu dancing space. Maybe this was the individual responsible for setting it up... and there she was, a perfect stranger, utilizing it after coming to the gym for basic exercise. With a dismissive nod, she removed herself from the immediate area, moving a short ways away to begin a series of stretches against the wall. Not that she was particularly embarrassed to have been caught or anything.

She didn't have to move completly out of the dance area. Ally smiled and moved so the girl could have space on the mat too.
"Here, you can come dance too if you want. I don't need the WHOLE thing to myself..."
She didn't know the girl, but she was very willing to share with a fellow dancer. She began her stretches and cracked her toes so she wouldn't have problems later, then, she slowly rose up on her tippy toes and finally to the proper pose a ballet dancer should have. She didn't know what she wanted to try out first, but she knew she wanted to move, so she stated free styling it a bit.
She made sure the other girl had plenty of room to dance if she wanted to.
"My names Ally. Is it okay to ask what your name is?"
