Make sure you aren't near your home when powering up.
Castille ran halfway down her street, then jumped behind a large bush that stuck out form someone's yard. Her breathe came in sharp gasps, mostly from nerves and excitement. She pulled out the pen that the tiny tail-less cat had given her, the red to white gradient barely visible in the night. She stared at it. Just like she had been for a week. She held it up and said "Grus power, Make up!"
After the feathers settled and the red and white lights flickered into nothingness, she stared at her forearms, where fabric had appeared. She looked behind her and popped her right foot up, examining the red boot fringed with feathers that replaced her converse. Her heart beat fast and hard, like a hammer in her chest.
Don't stay near where you transformed
She took off down the road, boots clicking faintly in the night. She ran for a couple blocks, then stopped behind a building, panting. That should be far enough right? She looked around at the mostly empty street. ********* had said she would have to patrol, keep people safe. But how exactly was she supposed to do that?
What the heck was she supposed to do?

Alunite's day hadn't been so stellar.
And his lack of luck was already making his evening irritating. He knew he didn't quite have a quota to fill, energy-wise, but he hated the idea of sitting on his a** and doing nothing. But he lacked the... finesse... that most skilled agents had when it came to gathering energy.
Mostly because he had so little experience.
The proverbial easy victim wasn't showing up, but something else did - an aura. Senshi. He frowned. If he could feel the senshi, then it meant the senshi had already felt him - an aura of light and dark was hard to miss, after all.
He sayed put, in the shadows of the alley, and waited.

Grus walked farther down the street, hiding behind cars and such. She figured she must look like a absolute fool...
And then a PING! went off.
She looked around as a signal came in. Aura she mentally corrected. She frowned. This one didn't feel like *********, so it must not be a talking cat. It felt...kindof like hers. But at the same time, different. Darker..almost like..."Bittersweet chocolate." she muttered aloud, looking around her for the cause of this strange ping.
Seeing no one, she carefully picked her way down another street, this one completely devoid of people. The aura felt stronger now, and she crossed her arms in front of her, fear shivering through her.

Bittersweet chocolate ?
Alunite had caught those words, but without knowing what the girl was referring to... It was just confusing. And a bad idea. Way to let someone know your exact location.
Then she finally came into view. Young, from the look of it. Younger than his sister, which made him frown. Though, he'd had heard something way more upsetting than the red-clad senshi that passed him by. Children...
But this one wasn't a child. This one was also alone, and didn't look to experienced. Not that he could be called experienced, but... He didn't attack senshi head on, usually, but with an opportunity like that right in front of him...
If the cats awakened young girls like this one and then left them alone to fend for themselves, then they had to be ready for the consequences.
He slid out of the alley just as she had passed him by. "Mistake number one - behind you."
If he had been a General, she'd probably be already dead. As it was, he tried to grap her shoulder.
If he could just drag her back into the alley... He might have an easy starseed.

The silence was eerie, this much she knew. But the aura was close. So close...
Close enough to reach out and grab her.
She shuddered and let out a small scream as a hand closed around her shoulder, gripping the red fabric of her feathered collar. Grus instinctively jerked away from the person, while grabbing his arm and trying to pull his hand free.
She felt the aura wash over her again, and realized that person was the one that felt different.. "Like bittersweet chocolate." she said quietly while she struggled.

He didn't get enough grip before the girl reacted and slipped out. Damnit.
He slid back into a battle stance - one slightly less laughable than the one he had attempted when he had faced Maia - and waited, eyes narrow.
"What are you talking about ?" He asked her, still not realizing that she was talking about him. Still, if she wasn't gonna move, he would.
So he launched a punch toward her midsection. For once, he felt like punching something - could they just fight back for once ?

She twisted away and faced the stranger, who she could now see was dressed in purple and black. She still wasn't used to how strange the outfits could be, but she as her eyes flicked to his unusually long hair, she said "Your aura....it's different."
Then she was punched.
Sailor Grus gasped, the force knocking her back while she held her stomach. She eyes watered as she took a couple deep breaths, then stood straight again.
Before fighting, many people have battle cries. Here's yours.
"I don't know who you are." She said loudly, staring at him with narrowed eyes "And I don't know why you feel so funny. But it's rude to hit someone you just met. I am Sailor Grus, and I'm the feather weight champion!" She blushed a little at her call, thinking that she should have something better.
Then she stuck out her arms and said "Feather-Fall Cloud!" A swirling mass of white feathers formed around her, then into a ball. She took aim, and hit the beach ball sized mass of feathers at her attacker. If it hit, his vision would be limited for a few seconds, and she could figure out what comes next. The thought of him hitting her made her stomach turn; the thought of hitting him back made her entire body shake.

...What part of opposite sides was this girl missing, exactly ? It was almost... well. Had she just been awakened then unleashed ? Seriously ?
Did the senshi honestly not care about their own members ? Had whoever awakened this girl not bothered to explain the basics to her ? Was it how they took care of each other ? If he had been a negaverse general, the girl would probably have already been dead.
Alunite then decided he was missing nothing. His sister had, indeed, saved him.
And now, he had a much greater purpose.
He didn't expect the ball of feathers - seriously, a ball of feathers ?! And so he was hit square on, leaving him flailing in attempt to push the feathers out of his field of vision. He could have used his own magic to step away, perhaps, but.... no, he might need it later.
This was her perfect opening.

Grus stared at the feather covered enemy, body shaking.
After you use your attack, you have to fight them hand to hand
Was this person really an enemy? Their aura was so, familiar in a sense. She ran up to the mass of feathers and drew her hand back, balling it into a fist. But her shaking hand didn't move. She just stood there, like an absurd statue, frozen with the notion of punching someone she barely knew. Her mind was shrieking for her to run away, and her stomach was flipping and flopping in a nauseating way.
Her arm lowered, as if the life had been drained out of her. She backed away, hands together and resting near her black bow. She shook her head slowly, thinking I can't do this!

Alunite saw her come, though there was little he could do about it, mostly blinded as he was.
And then... nothing happened.
...
What ?
Well, Alunite wasn't going to waste his own opportunity. While Grus looked conflicted, he charged - aiming a punch for her midsection.
The young girl might have been conflicted, but the corrupted senshi wasn't. Actually, he was a little upset that she wasn't even trying to fight her.

She flinched, trying to block the punch with her hands. While it partially worked, she still felt her gut wrench and she coughed, jumping away. If she didn't fight back, she'd get hurt. But still, her mind bucked at the thought of laying her hands on him. Even if he was really hurting her. Her breath came in short gasps while she clutched her sides, arms wrapped around her. She swallowed hard. This guy wasn't pulling his punches at all! Fighting another human was so different than a youma...
She gasped and stood on shaky legs, saying out loud "Why do you feel like me? Are you a senshi?"

Why wasn't she hitting him back ? Didn't she have an ounce of self-preservation ? Didn't she have an urge to defend herself ?
Every human had that. He saw it, when he watched Fluorite gather energy. And yet this girl... didn't.
"I am not like you." He said, then went for another punch. "And I will never be like you !" The tone of his voice was clear - he was better.
Maybe one day, she would realize that she was on the wrong side. Until then... And even if that ever happened...
There would be fights. "Come on, at least defend yourself ! What the hell do the cats teach you people ?!"

She pulled her arms up to block his punch, wincing as it connected with her forearms. Why did no one ever try and talk around here!? "If your not like me, why do you feel like me?"
She jumped backwards, still holding her ams in a defensive stance. Grus' knees wanted to buckle, and she hadn't even used her power to it's limit. He sounded so angry at her...she hadn't even done anything!
Maybe that was the problem.
Her voice was confused, and a little scared. "Your aura is like mine, but wrong. It's like a mixture of good and bad. Sweet and bitter."
She stared at him with wide blue eyes. "Like bittersweet chocolate."

This one was dense.
Really dense.
Though it was an odd thing. To have someone look at him with such scared eyes. A part of him said it was fine, and it was how it was meant to be...
But it made him stop. If only for a moment. "I am." He started. "A senshi, purified by the power of Earth itself. I am not like you, and yet I am."
It was the base truth of it.
He was wasting his time here, trying to hit a brat with a chocolate obsession that wouldn't hit him back. Maybe he should go for her starseed, end the problem right there and then. Had he been a General... Well, they wouldn't be standing here talking, that was for sure.
"If you're not going to fight." He huffed. "Don't power up. Or you'll probably end up dead before you even knew it."
Why was he even bothering ? Well... if she didn't bother to power up, there would be so need to kill her, right ? She looked so scared as it was.
And so young. Maybe it was what bothered him. So damn young, going alone, at the mercy of any agent who roamed this street.

She frowned at him, anger flaring up for just a moment. "I do what I want." She said simply, crossing her arms. "And to be honest, you don't seem that 'purified' to me. Especially." she added, taking a step backward "If your attacking girls like me for no reason at all."
Was this senshi really saying he was on the good side? Senshi weren't supposed to attack other senshi. They were on the same team. But Grus knew her perception of the factions of Destiny City was going to have to change. This new enemy threw a whole new category into the mix.
"I won't end up dead." she went on. Her hands rose again, and she called out with more conviction "Feather-fall Cloud!" The same attack as before. Only this time, she wouldn't let the feathers fall away uselessly.
