The crow is a magical creature. It is a sacred creature that symbolizes many things; Change, fate, time, and even cunning, death, or survival. But the duty of this creature goes on. An angel, or perhaps a reaper, blessed and cursed with the magic of the crow lives on in a city of smoke and industry, filled with a desire to leave it all but afraid to curse the life outside the city smog. His only wish is to live in nothingness, in absolute solitary. He has never experienced true happiness, but neither has he come across true tragedy in his life such as love or loss. Such things seem worthless to him as he believes the night and stars are all he needs.
He comes across a man, a criminal, one night, witnessing him running from the police, tied to the brambles of survival and theft. He thought nothing of him at first as the city is filled with such people, but had encountered this man many times after. No matter where he went, he seemed to have found this man. He knew it was Fate's way of telling him this man would change something. But he didn't know that this man would not change the city or his thieving ways, but rather the crow's own life.

You are the criminal, the outcast who lives in the slums down town of the smoke-cloaked city.

---------Title PM me "The Crow" with paragraph sample. Doesn't need to be a wall of 20 paragraphs as I myself can't type much more than 5.
---------------------A decent, 2+ paragraph post with colour, pic, and font format.

This isn't a 'happy' RP, so I don't need any happy-go-lucky characters. I'd prefer a well-rounded 'bad guy' or 'outcast' of society.

This takes place in a city covered in smog with high crime rate.

Just because your character is a criminal doesn't mean he should be the next Jack the Ripper but that also doesn't mean all "bad guys" have soft spots.

Character needs to have a reaslistic picture or photo.

I might sound strict, but I'm actually pretty lenient on a lot of things.

If you found the perfect picture, but for example the eyes are not the right colour, I can photo edit for you if you ask nicely.

PM this profile, in order. I have a format.

2 soft/light colours in same range (ie light pink and salmon, steel blue and grey etc)
3 monochrome colours (purples and blues, greens and yellows, oranges and red etc)
One word Criminal type (ie Thief, Killer, Stalker, etc you can get creative if you want)
Short quote
Name
Birthday
Age
Body build
Height (cm or feet will work)
Any oddities? (schizophrenia, bipolar, etc but remember this isn't an asylum so nothing too crazy like spilt personality: if not disorders then try to come up with something. This is really just a random spot)

In a city of smog and filth, it's not exactly easy to get one of the best jobs. After all, here they are too corrupt to let you get to the top and elsewhere they look down upon you for being from here. No matter what you do, you can't win. You'll always be stuck beneath somebody else's foot. This was a fact that Ludovich came to learn early in life and has become the main guiding factor in his life. He has made the decision that if he is to be below someone, he will at least be above another. This was why he became a contract killer. As one, you are lower than the person who hires you, but higher than you victim. They are stuck beneath you, just as you are beneath your contractor.

Ludovich~Arneson

It takes two to murder

Ludovich moved stealthily down the street to his next destination with a coat on his back and a scarf wrapped loosely around his neck. He was to go a Ms. Filgard's place of residence and make sure that she came to a quick end. This was at the request of a Mr. Wilford, who had recently found out that his piece of arm candy was holding out on him. He was to be paid a large sum of money if this went down successfully and thus took up the offer with little to no thought on whether he should or not. Unfortunately, as he now walked down these streets, he was starting to learn exactly why the payment was so high. It would appear as though the woman's home was right in the middle of gang territory, which was quite a dangerous place to be at this time of night. After all, this was the time of night when the pound dogs roamed the streets and the perfect little german shepards were at home protecting their families. There would be no one here to protect him if he got in a scuffle, but there would also be no one to confront him after his deed.

Ludovich keep this positive aspect in mind as he roamed down the dark streets. The fact that he would not have to worry about the police was serving as just enough of a perk to keep him unafraid of the gangsters that walked past him every moment. It kept him calm and walking confidently down the street rather than hiding and freaking out. Despite this fact though, Ludovich still found himself releasing a sigh of relief once the house came into sight.

Once there, he quietly walked up to the door and lightly pulled out his lockpicking devices. He stood there for a moment, just fussing with the lock, before it finally opened for him. As the door creaked open for him, a soft smile appeared on the young man's face. Now that he was here, his goal was easily attainable. All he had to do was go upstairs and murder the woman, wait until morning, and then walk to go pick up his prize, simple as that.

Ludovich thus calmly tiptoed up the steps to the woman's room and opened the door. There, he saw the woman sleeping peacefully on the bed. Ludovich smiled some at the sight and then carefully walked up to her. Once beside her, he took a moment to study her features. She had long eyelashes, golden blonde hair, and very pale skin. The woman was beautiful, but simply not his type. Ludovich chuckled some at the thought before carefully unwinding his scarf from around his neck. He then lightly placed it around the womans neck and tightened. A look of panic stayed on her features for a split second before disappearing and settling to a more relaxed state. As this happened, Ludovich lightly moved his gloved hand to her eyes and shut them. "Good night," he said simply as he rewrapped his scarf around his neck and took a place next to her. Moments after, he drifted off, falling into a nice, peaceful sleep, much like the woman previously had.

ɢєиτץ, ɢєиτץ I ϲɑмε ɑρρϊɴɢ, ϊкє τнє ϊяɗ ωнσsє єɑκ ϲɑмε Ϯɑρρϊɴɢ

The Crow looked out on his perch at the top of a tall apartment complex. Sounds of the city enveloped his ears, and it was annoying. The honking of horns, the car alarms from thieves, dogs barking... The creature clad in black rose to his feet, the sound of large folding wings but not a feather in sight. His arms hung at his sides at a strange length, making his thin frame look more skeletal, more ghastly at the roof in the night. He couldn't see the stars from here. Too many street lights, too much smoke from fire barrels spotted about. His sullen face looked around, to find a higher roof to stand and he spotted one, but right in the middle of gang territory. He would risk being seen before hiding, just to see those stars. His arms flung out behind him as he crouched before the belts that formed his sleeves unhinged and formed into masses of feathers of wings. With one great flap he glided rooftop to roof top to his spotted destination, being careful not to stir too much trouble. The crow sat quietly, hiding on the roof top as he spotted a young man walking about. Not wanting to give himself away, he sat low, his legs crossed, his hands between his legs and his head low. He wasn't one to get into the affairs of others unless he really wanted, so instead, he watched this young man with piqued interest as he picked a lock of a house. Just another thief. Drooping his shoulders, the Crow, looked up. His destination wasn't reached but he began to see some stars. His lips parted, biding his time for more to come. But the feathers embedded in his scalp, hidden in his hair twitched. He felt the loss of life. Not just here, but it was always everywhere. But it just so happened the closest was right in that very house the supposed thief visited. A killer, instead, perhaps?

Spreading his arms into wings once more, he glided down to the ground safely and cautiously. He can't really die, but he'd rather not be attacked by anyone who saw him. Quickly, he made his way closer to the shadows, partially hiding with his black attire, despite his white hands and pale face. Gently, his -ink-stained fingers touched a window and his pale eye peered faintly through the thin curtains. Feeling a bit disappointed, he melded into the wall like a black stain and out into the house. Without a sound he casually walked about, opening doors to everything; bathrooms, closets, bedrooms… And found one, finally with the same young man and a young woman. He felt no life in the woman and could only assume the visitor killed her. He didn't care how, or really even why. Even though his steps can make no sound, he still tiptoed his way by the woman, touching her face and looked at the man who seem to fall asleep. He touched the man's shoulder, tracing a bit of the scarf he wore before melding back into nothing and out to the open air, leaving small traces of shed, black down on the side of the bed.
Back outside, he fell into trash cans, making too much noise for his own comfort and quickly scampered off like a frightened animal. Dogs barked uncontrollably at the sound. He heard voices of other men, yelling slang and obscenities. He leaped to the roof of the house he just left, his wings helping him reach, and landed gently. His may make no sound, but objects he forces can. Sitting in a crouch, he looked out to watch a small party of people. By the way they acted towards each other, aggressively to a single person, he can only assume they were a gang. He looked down, seeing the shingles of the roof but thinking of the killer that should be no better than the rest. He had a feeling he wouldn't see him for the last time.

By the early dawn, the Crow was no longer humanoid. A simple little bird form he took, from his namesake. The little black bird hopped about, not needing to but pecked away at whatever scraps were left on the floor. It flew from animals that tried to eat him, but came back to hop about the house of the dead woman. No one believes in superstitions anymore, the omen of the crow. But he tried anyway, not that it would matter in this part of the world.

Ludovich~Arneson

It takes two to murder

[[sorry its crummy. I'm getting really tired]]

Ludovich awoke to warm sunshine beating his face. A soft smile graced his lips at the feeling, but it quickly faded once he realized where he was. A sigh escaped his lips at the thought and he carefully rose from his place in bed. The dead woman still lie there, as motionless and beautiful as a doll. As Ludovich reflected upon it, he felt a bit saddened that such a pretty creature much die. After all, she was so young and gorgeous. Ludovich thought on that for a short while before noticing the time and getting to work.

Ludovich scanned the bed ever so carefully for any hairs that may have fallen from his head. Spotting some, he swiftly picked them up and tucked them into his pocket. He then shifted his gaze over to the body, checking for any identifying marks. Since he had used his scarf, there should've been no DNA from him and no finger prints. Ludovich scanned her over to make sure and smiled when he found no hair or anything of the like on the body. Now all he had to do was.....

Ludo stopped and just stared for a moment. His gaze had fallen on some strange black mass on the side of the bed. After noticing it, the man hesitantly moved forward and reached his hand out to touch it. Once he did, he found his glove covered in black bird down. Ludo just stared in surprise for a moment and looked it over. It was strange that such a thing would be in the house. After all, she didn't own a bird, nor did she have any windows open. Ludovich found himself a bit creeped out at the thought and then carefully moved over to the window. Once there, he opened it and quickly dropped the bird down out of it. In this way, he assuaged his need to clean the crime scene and his want to get the stuff away from him at the same time. Ludovich stood there and watched carefully as the down now floated to the ground and then moved away from the window. One last scan through was done by the young man to make sure everything was perfect before he took his leave.

As he finally exited the house, he was careful to make sure nobody was looking. He did not wanted to be ratted out by some good for nothing informant after all. Thankfully, everyone seemed to be ignoring the house and he slipped out without anyone noticing. After doing so, he quickly rushed back down the streets, wishing to escape this part of town as soon as possible. Ludovich winded through the crowd ever so carefully as he walked, being careful not to bump into anyone so as to avoid conflict. It was not until he got out of that neighborhood that he could finally slow his pace and relax some.

Ludovich walked calmly like this for a few more blocks before finally coming to his crummy little house and entering in. As soon as he entrered he quickly turned on the television, lit up a smoke, and opened up a coke. Eyes scanned the television as the news played and he listened ever so carefully for the woman's body to become news.

(That's okay. I'm sure this post isn't all that great >> )

The Crow hopped about, scavenging for food around the trash, but stopped dead as heard stirring in the house he patrolled. A window opened and Crow tilted his little bird head, watching as a hand reached out to let his down float away. He stayed a while longer before hopping to a corner, spying on the man that soon began to leave. He fluttered his wings, making his way into the house via left open window and landed beside the woman. He croaked and cawed as loud as he could, soon hearing yelling and cries for his to stop. He continued to caw until someone would have to come in to make him. With enough torture to the neighbours, Ceow stopped as someone finally came, yelling at the front door. Crow was silent before beginning another series of caws, and another man let himself into the house, finding the bird's, and a dead woman's location. The crow burst from the floor to fly out the window, to perhaps do the same for others. He found no one else that died, at least by someone else's means, and so came back to the house, that was already being covered in more humans. They must've discovered the pretty blonde woman. The crow perched by the window, watching a pair of persons search the room around the corpse. The Crow cawed as a young woman made her way inti the room with a small camera to follow her. It cawed and left as quickly as it came.

Crow flew about, encircling more dead things, but not in the mood to eat. He landed for a short rest, and caught a glimpse of the young man from before. The crow decided to follow him to humor himself. Landing by the doorway of the shabby home the killer let himself into, the bird cocked it's head and hopped right in. As a bird, Crow wasn't too worried about anything at all. As a humanoid, he was always cautious of getting caught. The small inky foul hopped about, keeping close to the entrance, watching the man hold one of those smoke sticks and a can. It's white eye stood out z liutke too much, so the bird turned it's face away from it's target, cleaning it's feathers casually before taking off into a flight back outside with a flat-noted cry. Perhaps a new victem would be found later that night? The Crow was interested in stalking the man, though it never occured to the creature to actually take in his features. Maybe next chance, the Crow thought.

Perched atop a different roof, holey and water-damaged, the Crow played the waiting game, waiting patiently for his new target to head out again, whether for a kill or for a drink. It was too risky to take human form, so instead the Crow waited til dusk. The dark sky could hide him better.

At night, Crow was crouched on a different roof, close to his last perch. The sounds of the the city were now beginning their nightshift. He looked around for a better overlook of the small part of the city, taking flight when he did. Landing only a way to a run down motel, he sat watching the crimes and crazies go by. At least, when there are no stars, there is at least something entertaining to watch in the mess of all the cement.

Ludovich~Arneson

It takes two to murder

Ludovich stared at that screen hour upon hour, just waiting for something to happen. He sat there patiently, just smoking and drinking before finally hearing the phone ring. A slight smirk formed on his features as he heard the ringing break through the droning of the television. It was truly a beautiful sound to him, considering that it meant that he would soon be paid. Ludovich thus relished it for awhile before finally picking it up. "Hello," he said in a rather pleased tone, expecting it to be from his contractor. Instead of the expected 'Come pick up your money' though, he heard 'I need you to take care of someone for me.' At these words, a soft frown appeared on his lips. He didn't want to go do another killing so soon afterwards, but knew he use the money. Ludovich, thus, listened carefully to the woman's words and jotted down the important things on a scrap piece of paper. Once she was finished, he paused to think about it for a moment before deciding it would be a job that he would take if the price was right. "How much will you pay me," he asked calmly. The woman brought up something about paying 12k and Ludovich frowned some. The price was just alittle to low for him to accept it. Ludovich thus just paused again to think. "Make it 13k and you've got yourself a deal," he finally stated . The woman on the other line seemed to think about the price for awhile before finally agreeing and hanging up. At that, the young man smiled some and hung up the phone. It looked as though he would now have two paychecks to pick up by the end of tomorrow. Ludovich just sat there, pondering as to what he'd do with, before finally looking to the time and deciding that he should leave.

Ludovich, thus, rose from his chair and got ready for his next kill. The young man searched carefully around his home for a few weapons and smiled as he spotted a few sewing machine needles. He had picked them up for a friend of his a few days ago and got to keep the extras. When he'd first received them, they had been a pain, but now it seemed as though they would work out well for him. Ludovich thus carefully placed them in his shirt cuffs with a smile. After doing so, his coat and scarf were both grabbed again. Ludovich then bundled himself up before finally stepping out of the door.

Once outside, the young man took a deep breath of fresh air and wandered to his next destination. He was to head three blocks away and knock on the door. After doing so, the woman would tiptoe down the stairs and open the door for him. Ludovich was, truthfully, a bit uncertain as to whether or not he could actually trust this woman to do so. She could just be trying to trick him after all to get him offed or something. Ludo pondered this as he walked before remembering the desperation in her voice. She had sounded so nervous and scared. At this, Ludo frowned some at wiped the thoughts of betrayal out of his head. He was sure that he could trust her.

After walking for a good while, Ludo finally reached his destination. Once there, he carefully knocked on the door and waited. Ludovich did so for awhile before suddenly hearing a yell and a smack from inside. At this, his better instinct told him to run, but his stupidity found the need to help the young woman. Ludo, thus, pulled his lockpicking materials from out of his pocket and swiftly picked the lock. After doing so, he snuck inside and listened. It appeared as though the noise was coming from the other room. Ludo snuck forward at this realization and opened the door some. There he saw a man, standing over the young woman with a knife. Eyes widened at the sight and he quickly rushed into the room without much thought.

As soon as he did so, the man switched his gaze from the woman to Ludovich. Anger washed over the male's features at this, as he seemed to have confirmed something. "So this is the man you've been cheating on me with," he asked her with a deep frown, just for her to shake her head and start crying. "I haven't been cheating on you with anyone," she bawled in a frightened matter. The man refused to listen to her though and just continued moving towards him. Ludovich cursed some as he realized how little these needles would do for him in a fight like this. He then saw the other make a lunge at him. The young man barely managed to dodge the first jab at him here, but was then caught by the blade the second time. Anger washed over him some as the blade cut at his chest and he felt himself subconsciously move forward to grab at the blade. The man looked shocked at the sudden reaction, which Ludovich used to pull the handle out of his hand. Ludovich then carefully turned the blade on the man and frowned deeply. "I don't think you realize how ******** pissed I am right now that I'm going to have to use a knife to kill you," he said to the man, who backed up in fear at his words. Ludovich watched carefully as he did so before moving forward ad jabbing the knife into his windpipe. He then swiftly yanked it out and held it at his side. After doing so, he watched the man gasp and writhe on the ground as he struggled to breathe. Anger stained Ludovich's face as he watched the man do so and only dissipated once he was dead.

It was then that the woman seemed to break from her frozen state. She moved quickly from her place on the ground and hugged tightly onto Ludo as if he were a hero of some sort. The words 'thank you' were repeated over and over again through relieved tears. Ludovich just stood there silently though, not showing any interest in comforting her whatsoever. Though she was pretty, he still lacked interest in her, just as he had with his pretty blonde victim. They were both unimportant in the scheme of things. All that mattered in these dealings was the money, which Ludo was quick to ask for afterwards. At this, the brunette nodded and rushed down the hall to where the money was kept. She then shakily handed the cash to him before smiling some. "Thank you for everything," she stated with a soft smile. Ludovich nodded simply at this and then looked over to the man who lay dead on the ground. He had the horrible urge to clean up that ruby red liquid leaking from his neck at this very moment, but the woman's gaze on him was too much, so instead he just wiped his fingerprints off of the blade and threw it near the man. He then carefully held his own wound tight and frowned some. Right now it was mostly just soaking his shirt rather than dripping and Ludovich wanted to keep it that way. He thus held his chest tight and rushed out of the home.

Crow sat in wait, waiting for the sky to turn much darker. He took a deep breath, which he then regretted as he began to have a coughing fit. The air was dirtier there, from the small chimneys around. Between coughs, he spread his arms into wings and took off, landing between a couple of houses. The black creature stood, slouched in manner, and walked out, his wings wrapped around himself in a makeshift blanket. At least it'd help hide his odd appearance. He walked on the ground, which he still was never used to, he looked around, shrouding himself when he needed. A old woman here, a gangbang there, a burnt out fire barrel elsewhere. Crow wondered if all the city was like this. He never exactly left this part, mostly because it had the lesser buildings. They would never be high enough to cover the sky he loved. But maybe the dirty smoke produced from the entire city will. Sighing, he simply continued his stroll, waiting for something interesting. He gave up watching his target, feeling bored with patience. Watching the raped made him feel terrible, but he couldn't interfere with these lives either. Instead he just ignored most everything around him, much like the inhabitants of the city. He found himself back at his target's home, without a target. He frowned. He missed an opportunity to watch this man work. He left, continuing on. It wouldn't break his heart, no, but he was very curious. A lone man without a gang was almost unheard of to Crow, around this area. He wondered even more, how long could it last?

Crow jumped at the sound of a scuffle nearby. He looked about, not wanting to get hurt. Instead he realized it was inside a house. Probably a deadbeat husband beating his wife. It was creatures like those he secretly wished dead, and so he wandered around the house, hoping to find some opening for him to peek. But alas there wasn't. He couldn't just make his way in without scaring someone to death. He huffed and was about to leave when the fighting stopped, and life was gone again. Poor woman. Or maybe the man is who died. The door was opening, and quickly Crow hid himself, melding t the side of the house. He saw his target, holding himself, carrying himself away. Damn! Now he wished he had just walked in to watch this man work. But he was hurt. He decided to have a look inside now, coming out the other side of the wall.

A woman and the body of a man. The woman would surely notice him, and did, and quickly the Crow lunged at her, covering her mouth before a scream would surface. There was a story here, he knew, seeing the man in a pool of red on the floor, his target leaving, and this woman who seemed not quite terrified, but not at all calm. Cracking her neck, Crow crouched and set her down. He touched the pooling blood, letting it stick to his black-tipped fingers and looked back to his entry way, scurrying off as feathers again left behind. He leapt to a building top and stalked his target. He noticed the man was wounded. Was it just chance he found him again? The black-winged creature sped up, trying to keep up while on the rooftops, trying too hard to keep hidden all at the same time, he tripped and fell into an alley again, luckily missing the loud trash, but at the black luck of landing in glass. Feeling the stinging pain, he crawled further into the dark and pulled out the fragments that would heal in a few hours. The belts of his arms closed up the holes.

Rising back to his feet, Crow recovered and climbed silently back to the roof, hoping he didn't lose his target, not that he didn't know where he lived. He was curious about the wound the man suffered, thinking about how much it could be hindering him.

Ludovich~Arneson

It takes two to murder

Ludovich hurried towards his home, wanting to get out of the street as soon as possible. The wound to his chest made him both look and feel vulnerable in the city streets this time of night. It broke his usual confident stride and caused a sharp pain to course through his body. D@mn him and his sudden jump to protect the woman from her abusive spouse. Why couldn't he have just waited or left? Why did he have to go play the hero? Ludovich really couldn't fathom it. It was such a stupid move on his part. After all, now he was in such-

Ludo's thought processes stopped as he suddenly bumped into someone. At this, he looked up with a frown. The man appeared to have been waiting for him. For he just stood there ever so calmly with his hand out. "Are you going to hand me your suitcase, or will I have to take it from you," the man questioned, referring to the suitcase filled with money that the woman had given him. A deep frown appeared on Ludovich's face at this. There was no way he was letting some p***k steal this after all the work he had gone through to get it. He, thus, simply raised it up as if handing it to the other. At this action, the man seemed to grin greedily and reached out to take it. Before he could though, he was smacked in the head with it and disorientated. Ludovich grinned some at the dumbfounded look on the other's face and quickly started sprinting off. He had to get far enough away from the other before he realized what had happened, or he would be screwed. Ludovich, thus, put all his energy into running and tried his hardest to ignore the pain. He ran a good block or so before finally ducking an alleyway to hide.

Once there, Ludovich leaned against wall and took deep breath. His wound was now bleeding even worse than before and now he was being pursued. Ludovich closed his eyes some at the thoughts and just cursed to himself. He had screwed up so badly. Why had he done this? He wondered this again as he continued pressing his hand against his chest. The pain frown it was really starting to get to him now. It stung so bad. He wondered perhaps if it would be the death of him. After all, if it kept bleeding like this, he'd be dead in no time and he wouldn't be able to go home until he could be sure that the other man was no longer looking for him. Ludovich cursed some at this and closed his eyes tightly. It seemed as though he would be forced to die here in this alleyway with only the moon above to keep him company in his passing hours. Ludo looked up to her at that thought and then chuckled some. "Ironic how you were the one I was born under and the one I'll die under, hm," he asked silently as he continued staring up . He then released a soft sigh and closed his eyes some. "You know it was funny how I thought I could cheat the system by doing what I do. Noone wins. I should have already known that though, shouldn't I have," he asked her again, just to receive no answer. Another chuckle escaped his lips at this and he just continued sitting there, waiting for the pursuing mans footsteps to finally pass his alley so that he could be given a chance to return home....

Crow caught up with the man, watching him carefully. He perched on top of an empty chimney, observing someone else standing in the path of his target. He frowned, seeing one bump into the other. Were they friends? Crow crawled to the edge of the roof, weary of loose shingles. Their actions were confusing him. First going to give the man the case then hit him with it? Crow sprung in the air, sure of following his target further before he got away. All these events happening made him a bit excited. He hoped it wouldn't end here. Landing smoothly, he tiptoed his way to the edge of where he last saw the man. A smile was plastered on his face, but soon left seeing how bad the man's condition really was. He was talking to himself and Crow was a little upset he couldn't go on for much longer. His mind was saying 'oh well', but he really did want to help. Standing up, he turned to fly away and took off, a few feathers fluttering behind him. He sighed, and turned back. This fun couldn't end so soon. He hoped karma wouldn't later kill this man. Quietly he flew back and descended at the edge of the road, still hidden in the alley. His wings spread and made a wall behind him, hopefully throwing up his special target's pursuer.

When he thought it was safe, he let his wings wrap into arms again, stepping forward. he wasn't afraid of being seen this time, and so let the pebbles crunch against his boots. Leaning down, he kept his distance, his left eye more piercing than his right. The feathers in his hair twitched and he felt as if time slowed, watching carefully for signs of life in the man with his eyes closed. When he was sure he hadn't died yet, he stood and made his way even closer. His thin frame slouched naturally, his length arms reaching out to touch the man's shoulder like he had the first time, with blood-tipped fingers. Crouching down, he looked at the face of this man, his distinct features said he was still young.

The white hand lightly touched the open wound and the blood-soaked shirt. He could feel the man's heart beat and pulse. The belts wrapped around his wrists snaked around his hand, forming into feathers and then just shadows around the wound, giving it a temporary seal. Gliding his hand across the wound, he looked at the man, giving a faint whisper, "You have to live…" Feathers in his hair stood, giving a cockatoo look to the Crow as he stepped back about a foot's length. He can't just leave the man here, either. Too dangerous. It wasn't like he could really carry him, either, with his arms being his wings. Sighing in frustration his arms burst into wings and gently he sat beside the man, one wing shrouding most of him. "Some people deserve to die…" He admitted aloud, bitterly. But his target, he thought, didn't. At least not yet. His feathers twitched and hairs flattened, Crow laid his head against the wall, staring intently at the person beside him. What emotion could be running through this man? He wished, out of all abilities, he could've had telepathy. Reading minds was always something he wanted to do, wanting to know how people thought, what they thought, why…

"If you keep still, it'll hold. I'll make sure your not found here." Crow added, not wanting his target to struggle and undo everything he just did to protect him. He wasn't very patient and hoped the man would keep calm, or at least not thrash about. He wanted to see the stars tonight, but no; all of this had to happen! He just had to be fixated by this man, didn't he? Still, the stars are always there, but this man wont. He was too entertaining to just let die. Or maybe Crow actually cared in the back of his mind. He scoffed at himself.

By the daytime he would have to leave and become a bird again. It helped protect his eyes and it was easier to hide. He wouldn't want to leave this man all by himself by then, though... He decided he'll just follow the man, make sure he'll stay safe until he reaches his home. He'd hate to upset the natural balance of things, but some people need just a little longer. And that little longer can make a huge impact. His own experience can say so. From once being a forlorn scavenger to some kind of fey, he knows the difference even hours can make.

Ludovich~Arneson

It takes two to murder

[[sorry the post is bad and sorry it took so long. My friend distracted me with anime T^T]]

Ludovich kept his eyes closed tightly as he heard footsteps approach, expecting to soon be put to death. As the person approached closer and closer, he felt his heart beat faster and faster and his fear increase. He didn't want to die so soon, but there was really nothing he could do. He was in far too much pain. A frown appeared on his lips at this thought and he braced himself to be stabbed or beaten at any moment. Instead, he just felt a hand lightly touch his shoulder. At this, he slowly started to open his eyes.

Once opened all the way, he saw that the person in front of him was not his pursuer. In fact, he wasn't sure he had ever even seen this person before. How had he managed to spot him in this alleyway without looking for him?

Ludovich wondered this for a moment before watching the other move his hand to his chest. He cringed some at this and bit his lip some. What the hell made him think it was alright to do so? Ludo moved his hand to go push the hand away from him, but stopped as he noticed the man's hand morph. He felt his fear rise at the sight, but, rather than screaming, just kept his lips zipped and stared in shock. It was then that he heard the other speak to him. A soft smile graced his lips at that and he continued just quietly staring up at the other. He wasn't fully sure what the man was or why he was here, but he found himself not caring much. After all, he seemed to not want to bear any harm to him. In fact, if anything, it seemed like he was.... helping him.

Ludovich pondered this idea for a moment, wondering what the other thought he could possibly gain from helping him. Did he want his money? Ludovich looked down to the suitcase at that. No, no he surely wouldn't go to such trouble for an amount that he was unsure of, but then why.... why would he help him?

"Some people deserve to die."

At these words, Ludovich carefully turned his head towards the sound. There he saw the other sitting with a now slightly more birdlike appearance. A look of curiosity seemed to wash over the man's face at this sight and he found the urge to reach out and make sure it was real and not just his eyes fooling him. He just kept his hands to his side though and watched him instead. It was then that the other mentioned something about sitting still. Ludovich seemed confused at this, but nodded and just did as he was told. He then closed his eyes and tried to settle his mind some. All this thinking was starting to give him a headache and he was starting to feel worn out from his blood loss. Ludovich thus just sighed and decided to let fate take hold of him. If fate wanted him to die before nightfall he would and if it did not, he would go on living. Ludovich smiled some at the thought and lightly leaned himself onto the other. As he did, he felt feathers lightly brush against his cheek.

At this, another question popped into his head. Instead of keeping the silly thing locked up in his head though, he found himself subconsciously muttering it to the other.

"Are you my guardian angel?"

The words slipped through his mouth almost silently and he wondered if the other even heard it. He stayed conscious just long enough to listen for an answer before finally drifting off in the dark, cold alley.

((Well, anime is awesome so I forgive you XD I'm afraid my posts might be a bit short T.T ))

Crow was observant in the man's little reactions, but a bit surprised the other didn't find him repulsive or eerie. Perhaps he was too tired to think. He leaned close, keeping his target near. Smiling faintly, he was content with how well the human man was acting, following his simple instructions… Maybe he was just giving him too much credit, after all he was dying moments ago. Almost hesitantly, he leaned on the man's shoulder, careful to not put so much pressure. His heart and breathing so heavy from before seemed to be balancing out again. Crow lightly touched the man's face with a hand that peeped from the mass of feathers of one arm, his fingers ghosted about his hair before he retracted. He perked as the man finally spoke to him, drifting off slowly in his tiredness. He asked if Crow was a guardian angel! His guardian angel. The fey found it humorous, smirking at the thought, but it faded. No, he was just a crow. But he couldn't come to tell his target that.

"Only if you want me to be…" He whispered back, watching the other drift into sleep.

Wings wrapped further around as he wanted to protect him for the night. He didn't need sleep, and found it difficult to keep awake at the same time. He's waited before for hours, but nearly twelve hours would drive him insane. He looked up to find some glimmer of hope to keep him at least entertained as he stayed there in the alley, and certainly found a glimmer. A few glimmers. The sky was starry which made him sigh. Twinkling little lights, so simple yet can tame him so easily. With this, he could watch all night. He would look every now and then, to make sure his target was still breathing or if his heart was still beating. He was happy to know the other was still alive, and hoped it'd stay that way.

The dawn was breaking and the stars were fading bit by bit. Crow knew he didn't have much time before he had to turn himself to protect his eyes from the sun. He sighed, looking back to the man in his harpie-like arms. Gently, he pulled away. He didn't want to wake the man. The belts that wrapped his bod all were becoming undone into feathers and condensed his body. His face was covered by his hair then soon he was a small mass of fluff that eventually took shape into the small crow he was. He ruffled his feathers and hopped about. Having the brain the size of a bird's he was more placid with doing nothing but hopping and pecking at the ground. A few loose feathers flittered in the cool breeze and Crow enjoyed the slight silence that filled the alley. It was rare to hear nothing, but soon a dog would bark, a few people would yell at one another. The sound of the city began to overflow again as he waited for the man to awake.

Ludovich~Arneson

It takes two to murder

[[your posts short? Nah. There their the perfect size. Short is jotting down five wimpy sentences and only that]]

Ludovich just sat there, peacefully sleeping throughout the entire night. He felt safe in the other man's arms for some reason, as if nothing could harm him while they were there. It was a strange feeling really, considering that he wasn't fully sure if there was another truely there, but one that was felt nonetheless. Ludovich just really couldn't help it, the other had offered both a means of protection and warmth that he had not received from another for a long time. The fact that such things had been offered to him and that the other had also, in a way, saved his life made him feel comfortable around him and helped him be able to feel unafraid of the things around him. This feeling stayed with him the entire night and only finally left him once the other's warmth did.

After it was gone, Ludovich started to stir some. He adjusted himself a few times as an attempt to get comfortable, but failed miserably. After his mind seemed to realize that the attempt had failed, his eyes finally flickered open. Once fully open, he found himself lying all alone in an alleyway with a suitcase nearby. At this, Ludovich seemed rather confused. Surely this wasn't the afterlife. After all, he was in the exact same place as where he had been last night. Did this mean that he had actually survived? Ludovich looked down at himself as if trying to find a way to answer that and finally came up with the idea of pinching himself. A cuss word escaped his lips at the pain of it and he carefully rubbed the spot. It would seem as though he had survived. Ludovich smiled some at this before remembering that he had not been alone. There had been a man with him last night.

Ludovich whipped his head around quickly, as an attempt to find him, but instead found nothing but a headache. Another cuss escaped his lips at this and he lightly rubbed his temples some. Had he truely just imagined that someone was there. Ludovich frowned some at the thought and bit his lip some at this. He wanted to believe that the other had been real and that he was still nearby watching him, but with each memory of him, he became more and more convinced that he didn't exist. After all, he'd had feathers all over him. His mind tried to justify this as him being a guardian angel of sorts, but he was having issues believing it. All proof of such had disappeared from sight after all. Ludovich frowned some as he thought about this and just released a sigh. It figured that the only person that showed an ounce of kindness to him would just happen to be a figment of his imagination. Ludovich became a bit saddened as he thought about that before quickly shaking it away and standing up.

Once on his feet, he found his knees a bit shaky and himself feel still quite weak. Despite this fact, Ludovich pushed himself on. If he wanted to survive, he could not just allow himself to wimpily sit around in an alleyway, he had to go out and get home, where he could recover properly. Ludovich, thus dealt with the pain and the weakness for three blocks before finally allowing himself to collaspe in his house. Once there, he released a deep breath and closed his eyes some. Everything hurt so badly. Ludo frowned some at this and laid on his couch for a few moments, just resting, before finally going to bandage himself up and check his calls.
