There are tons of anime and manga out there.... unfortunately, it all seems to be het, or yaoi.... sweatdrop And even worst, more often then not, the Yuri/Shoujo-ai stuff one can find is... well... its porn. stare
But fear not, good Shoujo-ai anime and manga does exist! It is out there...... somewhere........I think.........
Just like the Movie and TV Show thread, this is a place to talk about those good Shoujo-ai anime and manga you have found, that you enjoyed! So that we can add them to a list so that others might be able to watch/read them with out having to search through a bunch of bad yuri porn, and depressing yaoi anime to find such rare yuri gems!

Puella Magi Madoka is kinda awesome and slashy (intentionally) as is K-on if you want some anime. They're not strictly shoujo-ai series, but they intentionally play to people who see slash.

I concur about utena. A girl who wants to be a prince and fights to protect (and live with) her princess? Yeah that's totally straight.

There's actually a lot of yuri manga that goes unnoticed or under appreciated. One of my favorites is:
Himegami
which isn't explicitly yuri but heavily implied. The two main characters, to me, appear very romantic and cute. It's also complete, which is a plus. Also available on mangafox if you don't mind reading it there.

DeirdreTonbo I concur about utena. A girl who wants to be a prince and fights to protect (and live with) her princess? Yeah that's totally straight. And because Juri and Shiori are completely straight too. Mnhmn. Pining after your female best friend while she dates your male best friend to make you jealous. Definitely straight right there. Also, I'm fairly certain that about half of the main cast of Ranma 1/2 are at least bi. Sort of. Some of them are just plain gender confused/confusing.

I watched an anime called "Kampfer" which I guess has Yuri. Its complicated! The main character is a guy that turns female whenever another Kampfer is near. Not going to spoil anything, but there is a girlxgirl love interest. There isn't any porn, just suggestiveness. I personally love it heart It is just being released in Japan so the subs come a little bit slow =

There's a ton of yuri fanservice here, but a lack of real substance. However, if that's what you're into it isn't horrible.

I am so with you on the lack of substance. I actually just liked it for the ideas and mainly the art-style. It did keep me hooked on it however.

I know of one good shoujo-ai manga out there. More action-based than anything, and any love relationships are mostly one-sided, as the main character ain't too bright. http://www.mangafox.com/manga/shitsurakuen/This manga has, on several occasions, made me feel a bit weird, as I've had the thought of 'goodamn men, bunch of chouvenistic devils', when I, myself, am a dude... o.o

I'm... not even sure of this qualifies as shoujo-ai... s**t just got weird, yo.
