Tied fight, in my opinion. With Toph's feet-seeing and Bumi's unnatural Bending fighting style, it'd be probably quite evenly matched. I think Bumi would have a chance to win against Toph, with his many years of "experience".

Toph will win! Bumi knows how to use all kinds of earthbending, but Toph knows Earth, Metal, and Sand bending. She can beat Bumi!

Who's to say Bumi doesn't know Metal and Sand Bending? He's been around for 112 or so years. Just cause he doesn't use it, doesn't mean he doesn't have it. =) And I think he used Metalbending during the eclipse to escape the coffin that was used to confine him.

Just cause he doesn't use it, doesn't mean he doesn't have it. =) And I think he used Metalbending during the eclipse to escape the coffin that was used to confine him. TOPH ALL THE WAYY and he didnt use metal bending. remember he pryed it open with rocks when he earth bended with his chin lol

Bumi could probably figure some way of getting around the seeing with the feet like Aang did. Toph is probably more skilled, but I think bumi could figure out her weakness.

TophGod for sure.
She's so unique! I mean, how many Earthbenders can actually say that they've learnt Earthbending from the first Earthbenders, the badger moles?! biggrin
Having said that, it's fantastic how she listens to the ground or feels the earth, as Sokka puts it, "Did I mention how sweet it is that you invented Metalbending?"
Her Sandbending is blardy awesome too. She created the City of Ba Sing Se from sand!

Bhumi refused teaching Aang earthbending, saying that he should find someone who waits and listens to the earth. Aka Toph. Toph and earth are not two separate entities. while Bumi rules the earth, Toph becomes earth in fighting. So it would be one hell of a fight but finally Toph will win. I want it to be a tight though, Bumi is my favorite mad genius and Toph is the coolest. heart

If Bumi had to tell Aang to find someone who waits and listens, then he obviously doesn't have that trait. Toph probably would win.
