No school, no school! How Andromeda loved having no school. By now she was relatively used to the little routine she'd made up for herself: School (On the weekdays), study, do homework, watch a few of her shows (TeVo the rest), dinner and then patrolling before bed. Did her grandparents know she did this? Of course not! Though she did feel bad sneaking out of the house night after night, not telling them she was leaving or when she was coming back. Why tell them when she was coming back if she wasn't telling them she was even going anywhere? But she told Ophelia, the guardian cat she had taken in after she had been awakened to her powers. She always told Ophelia where she was going, for how long she expected to be gone, and even promised to call her if she ran into any trouble.
Weekends though...weekends were different. Every other weekend she would spend the bulk of her day patrolling, telling her grandparents she was out at the aquarium or just visiting Dietrich. She did always visit the aquarium..just that wasn't why she was out. She had to have some kind of stories for her grandparents!
So far things were quiet. She'd managed to fumble her way through a fight with a very small youma but other than that...perfectly normal! Or as normal as Destiny City could be. It felt really cool to be doing this, to basically be a super hero saving the day and protecting the city. Since things seemed to be relatively calm she figured now was an alright time for some goofing off, having managed to get onto the roof of a small building and walked along the outer rim of the roof. Her arms were held out at either side of herself to keep herself balanced, humming cheerfully as she hop-skipped along the edge.
Of course Andromeda made sure to keep up with her duties, glancing around every now and then and even checking her senshi phone for any blips on the map she wasn't noticing herself. This senshi stuff wasn't so bad! She hadn't seen another negaverse agent since General Zinkenite! Maybe he had a certain area he patrolled...did she have one? Maybe she should find one, she'd hate to run into someone who was territorial about 'their part of town'. Hmmm!
She was so absorbed in her thoughts she didn't even remember to check when the roof ended, completely oblivious to the corner she was approaching until suddenly her foot sank in a way it shouldn't. "What the--!" Andromeda let out a cry of surprise as she kept going down, holding down the skirt of her fuku. Why stop it? She couldn't fight gravity! It was as she was going down that she sensed it, however. Someone from the negaverse was nearby...but where?!
Andromeda looked down to find there was a person underneath her where she was about to land. Oh, okay. No big deal.
...WAIT A SECOND!
"LOOK OUT!" She cried out to warn the poor sap she was headed toward, trying desperately to direct herself to land somewhere else.

Demy too had fallen into some semblance of a schedule. Work on days he had shifts (such as earlier today!). Negaverse paper-work on days he didn't work at the arcade. Then of course a patrol every night to gather some energy! It was easy, really, and it kept him busy which was the most important thing when dealing with Demetri Wright.
Today hadn't been too terribly eventful. Quick and painless shift at work, and now out patrolling and looking for energy. He had gathered a few orbs of it, and had started to consider maybe hitting up the taco place for some food before heading back home to dive into his other work. Still...he couldn't shake the feeling something was off...
The shout of a voice caught his attention, poor Scheelite just minding his own business as he walked (like a normal person!) along the street. Green eyes shot upward, the boy giving one hell of a confused look and yet still not moving. Instead he did something that suprised even himself!
The Negaverse Captain held out his arms, and caught the falling Senshi.
"...err...hey there?" The grin on his face read nervous and really god damn confused. A part of him screamed to drop her, but wouldn't that be rude?

Andromeda had fully been expecting to land on the ground, possibly go 'ow' and then continue on with her day. Sounded simple enough, and with her not landing on anyone everyone got away happy! Yay! Happy endings! How she loved them. But what she didn't love was being caught by a negaverse guy person thingamajig.
Oh wait, was that who had caught her just now? Ahaha! That was so silly! It couldn't possibly have been...naaaaah! He was just...just someone who dressed funny and...and he...gave off a strange energy and...
Oh crud! Andromeda's eyes were wide as she stared up at the young man who had caught her and so politely greeted her, looking downright terrified. He had her in his grasps! He could do whatever he wanted to her now! Oh, no! What horrible tortures would he inflict upon her?! She had to get away. She had to get somewhere safe! She made sure to keep her hands at the ready in case she had to sting his face or something.
Whyyyyyy was he grinning?
"U-um...hi..." She squeaked, looking just as much if not more nervous than the captain. Wh-what was she supposed to do now?! Would he let her go if she tried to get away? As it stood her body was telling her to run away or fight but she couldn't quite bring herself to do either. She was terrified, already imagining the atrocities he would be committing now that he had a tiny little newbie senshi in his arms. "Uh...quite the weather we're having, huh?! Instead of cats and dogs, it's raining girls!" Andromeda said in a panicked, squeaky voice as she tried to force herself to find some kind of humor in this situation. Instead of men it's raining girls! Ha..hallelujah..!

There was a long, long pause. One in which the Negaverse agent holding her could come up with any number of possibilities for a nasty end to such a short Senshi life. Why! Those green eyes were simply burning with cruelty, a wicked spark glinting in the light.
Finally, he opened his mouth to speak once again. "Do you uh...mind if I put you down now? Heh?" And then he did just that. Gently Scheelite set the Senshi down on her feet and backed the hell away to get a better look at her. Why, WHY did a SENSHI have to fall on him like this? Well...at least he had caught her.
Coulda been worse.
"Weird weather, if you ask me. It shouldn't rain women. Only men! or you know...water. Water is good too."
Fidget...fidgetfidgetfidget.
"So..............yeah."

There it was. That look in his eye just screamed 'I am going to kill you! Mwahahahahaaaaaaa! No one will hear your screams!' She was dead. She was a goner! She didn't want to die! She was too young...her grandparents, Dietrich, her friends..Ophelia! Ophelia would be so worried! And then what if she got mad because Andromeda didn't call her!? Wait! Her senshi phone! If she could just get it!
"What? ..Oh...! Of course?" Andromeda blinked at how gently she was set down, putting a hand on the blonde's shoulder to brace herself until she was on her feet and able to stand on her own. Just as he stepped back she did the very same, though she hopped back a few feet instead of stepped, a frown on her face and her fists raised. She was ready to defend herself at a moment's notice!
Her frown turned into a pout as he argued against her joke. Hey! Not cool! "But only women should want it to rain men. Unless a guy is gay, I suppose. And water is overrated!" Andromeda would hate to get wet wearing white. She loved rain but she did not love giving people a 'show'. Not that she ever had in the past but the thought alone was enough to send her running.
This...was awkward. She looked unsure of what to do next, her fists still raised but now her face said nothing but worry and confusion. Did..all of the negaverse just chat? Did they not actually do anything?
"At least there's no smoke this time." She muttered, relaxing a little bit. "You're..not going to do anything?" He'd had the perfect chance and done nothing! Was he just like Zinkenite?

At the comment about gay men the Negaverse simply smiled. Yeah, gay men would totally want it to rain men. Hot men. Yeah...that was a thought. The smile turned stupid and dreamy for a minute as that thought ran wild.
Thankfully he shook it off.
Scheelite eyed the raised fists, tilting his head before giving it a brief shake. "No fists. I'm not in the mood for fighting, and that's -not- a very nice way to thank the person who just saved you from falling on your a**, ya know?"
The blonde took a moment to dust himself off before giving her another lookover. Hrm...
Wait.
"Smoke? Man, I -hate- smoke attacks. I am always wind up in the middle of them and they sure suck. There's choking smoke and blinding smoke and burning smoke and just...ugh."
At least on that point they seemed to have common ground?

Now that was a strange look. Andromeda wasn't quite sure what to make of it, blinking a bit as he shook his head and told her no fists. What? But...but she couldn't just...! Well he did have a point. But how was she supposed to believe he wasn't in the mood to fight? He could be lying to get her guard down! Or something. Though all things considered her experiences with negaverse agents weren't so bad, especially with the stories she'd been hearing. Maybe the senshi had it wrong! Maybe it was just one big misunderstanding!
So he knew the smoke guy too! Andromeda actually giggled, nodding and relaxing fully and putting her hands on her hips just above the poof of her skirt. "So you know the smoke guy too? He was so mean! I didn't even do anything to him and he just goes and grabs me!" She huffed a little at that, blowing a bit of her hair out of her face. Now what? Andromeda scuffed her shoe on the ground a little and chanced a quick glance around their immediate area; they were alone. "So..." Andromeda pursed her lips, unsure where she was even going with that. This was unusual for her! She was usually such a chatty little thing.
"...You look like you eat glowsticks." She blurted out suddenly, remembering the brightness of his green eyes when she had been up close and now getting a good look at his bright blue unicorn.

"I know a few people with smoke attacks...but I have a feeling I know who you're talking about. Little dude, like yay tall?" Here he held out a hand, demonstrating the height of a particular general he know -very- well. "He can be kinda grouchy, but he's not -that- bad. He doesn't like Senshi much though, sorry dudette. Can't really blame us though, we're just looking out for ourselves. Ya know?"
Scheelite shuffled around a bit, but the next statement caused the grin to crack into a full on laugh.
"Eat glowsticks huh? Well, I -have- told people that's how I got my eye color. Sure looks like glowstick green doesn't it? I still think they should glow...that'd be pretty friggin awesome if I do say so myself. LOVE glowsticks, as I'm sure you can see." He gestured to the chain of them hanging off his waist before continuing.
"Name's Captain Scheelite, ask around and I'm sure you'll hear of me as 'that glowstick guy'. It's my style, what can I say?"

"Yeah, uh..Zinkenite? I've never met a guy shorter than me before. I tried to help him by bringing him something to stand on but he got a little mad and broke in half with his hand." She honestly had just been trying to be helpful! She hadn't meant to be rude..she just wanted them to be on at least somewhat equal footing! Or something. That was how that phrase went, right? But the boy was right, he'd been very grumpy and it was clear he didn't like her. Andromeda frowned at the 'can't really blame us' part. "I don't see why, it's not like I've seen any of them attack anyone other than youma..." She also hadn't been a senshi very long if that wasn't obvious enough. She didn't understand why the negaverse hated them so much! They were the ones killing people, right? It was them! They were the villains!
Why couldn't they all just get along?
He didn't seem to find her remark about eating glowsticks, grinning and even laughing about it. He really liked glowsticks. Was it his favorite word? It seemed like his favorite word. "I can see that, yes. Wow! You have a lot! Is that one purple? That's my favorite color! Can I have one?" Judging by the speed of her own words it seemed she was getting somewhat comfortable, slowly walking up closer to get a good look at the chain of glowsticks. So pretty!
"Sailor Andromeda." She replied absently when she heard Scheelite introduce himself, putting her hands on her knees and peering at the glowsticks. Suddenly she grinned, looking up at the captain. "I dare you to eat one right now."

AHA! So it was Zink she had run into. He'd have to go ask his little buddy about this Senshi later on. Especially with this whole tale of her bringing him something to stand on. That simply earned another laugh, because the mental image of that was god damn priceless. Poor Zink must have been furious!
The laughter died away, and Scheelite gave the other a stare as she mentioned not seeing a Senshi attack something other than youma. "Right, so that's why I've totally got this, yeah?" Here he gestured to the scar running around his neck. "-Totally- gave that to myself, couldn't POSSIBLY be cause of a Senshi magical attack, yeah?"
The sarcasm was dripping rather heavy at this point.
Still, he unhooked the purple glowstick from his chain and tossed it to the Senshi. No matter the amount of sarcasm dripping from his tone he simply couldn't turn down a request for a glowstick. Cmon, they were one of his favorite things in the world! That and tacos, if he had some of those he'd be sharing them with Andromeda too.
Now...that dare. At that he jumped a bit and gave her a look with a mixture of joy and downright confusion.
"You...want me to eat a glowstick? Right now? Well...I've always considered it...maybe if I drank enough my eyes would glow, yeah? Makes sense to me!"

This was going well! He was laughing, he was being nice! Scheelite didn't seem to be a bad person at all! It really must have just been one huge misunderstanding then; there was no way it could be actual hatred! Or that's what she thought until he suddenly stopped laughing and stared at her in that way that made her want to run away again. Wh-what? Green eyes followed the movement of Scheelite's hand until she saw the scar on his neck. She hadn't noticed that before! Open mouth, insert foot? Andromeda looked rather taken aback by his words, her mouth hanging open as she tried to think of something to say to that. What could she say? It was a very nasty looking scar...it must have really hurt to get. How had it not killed him? Andromeda frowned. "I'm...sure they had a very good reason..." It was all she could think to say! She didn't know the situation, but if it was senshi versus negaverse that was easy enough to figure out, wasn't it? It had to be...it just had to be!
After that mess up she was honestly surprised he was still giving her a glowstick! Andromeda fumbled to catch it in her gloved hands, looking down at the purple stick with a smile. Wow! He really gave her one! Umm..where could she keep it? She looked her fuku over for a moment before settling on sticking it on the ribbon wrapped around her waist for now. She could find somewhere else to put it later.
After that was done and settled she looked up again to find he looked happy again, her face scrunching up in confusion for a moment before she relaxed. "Uh..yeah!" If he was going to go back to being happy then she was just going to roll with it! "Uh huh! Maybe! I don't see why not, and since you're magical and all then that's...like...even more likely!" Andromeda spread her arms out wide and grinned as she spoke, standing tall and looking more and more excited about this by the minute. She'd never seen anyone eat a glowstick! She didn't think it was possible! But hey, this looked like it was going to be really fun to watch.

Thankfully he declined on commenting more on how he had gotten the scar. It wasn't nice, it was a terrible whirling tornado of death that had given it to him and even thinking back to that night was enough to send him into hysterics.
Good thing he decided to stick to the happier thoughts.
"Wellll...it is a good thought! But hold on a sec, I better check in with boss-man before I do anything like that, kay?" And just like that he actually turned his back to her, putting one hand up to the headphones resting on his ears and after a moment he...started to -talk- to them?
"Hey Zink, sup buddy? Sooo I'm here with this chick and she dared me to eat a glowstick, whatcha think I should do?"
Pause.
"Of COURSE I called you to ask that! You're my buddy, my General! I gotta check in with you, ya know?"
Another pause, Scheelite turning to glance back at her during this one.
"Soooo...I should totally do it, right? I mean cmon, my eyes might glow! Wouldn't that be awe----Zink? You still there? ...Hrm....must be interference or something. Ugh, Negaverse dropped calls are the worst."
Phone call finished, Scheelite turned back to her with a grin.
"So...what color should I try? Probably green, yeah?"

Andromeda was more than happy to stick to happier thoughts, especially considering these happier thoughts were about to get hilarious. She was grinning again, tucking her hair behind her ears and watching as he turned around. Boss-man? What did he mean by that? She took a cautious step to listen in on the conversation, or as much of it as she could anyway. Zink? Zinkenite was his 'boss-man'? Was he seriously calling someone about this? Haha! Andromeda started to laugh, her arms crossing across her midsection as she bent forward a little. This was so funny and he hadn't even done it yet! Just..the conversation! Hahaha! Clearly the person on the other end was not pleased to hear this!
As he turned back to her Andromeda nearly snorted with laughter, wiping at her eyes as she sighed deeply in an attempt to calm herself. "So you have a phone in your headphones? That's neat!" Even if she was wrong she still liked them. "I don't think he likes this idea...uhhhh, yeah! The green one! Your eyes are green, it'd look weird if they glowed purple or blue or something. Ooooh! Blue's a pretty color! And you're already wearing blue!" She was bouncing excitedly on the balls of her feet and clapping her hands, clasping them together after a few rapid little claps and watching Scheelite expectantly. Was this safe? Probably not. There had to be some way to keep him from getting sick from this.
..Ehhhh! They could think about that later!

Well of COURSE he called someone! He told Zink like EVERYTHING. DUH.
"It's..not exactly a phone, but it's close enough!" No need to tell her his Nega-communicator crystal notaglowstick thing was in his headphones. Nope, no need at all.
"Nah, Zink TOTALLY thought it was awesome." LIES...oh well. "Our call just got dropped. Terrible reception, but ehhh. So, green one it is!"
The blonde captain unhooked the green glowstick from it's spot on his chain. It was lifted, eyed carefully for a moment, and tilted this way and that as he pondered it. He used to tell people all the time that his eye color came from drinking glowsticks. The Negaverse used to joke that he was just crazy enough to do it. But...he really -hadn't- ever tried it before.
...Well the packages were labeled nontoxic, it had to be okay, right? OF COURSE!
First thing first, he had to open it. That was taken care of by bitting off the top and spitting the hunk of plastic aside. Next? ...Well next he simply bit the bullet and tipped the glowstick back to take a sip.
.........
OH DEAR GOD THIS TASTED HORRIBLE.
The captain tried to hold his composure, but it quickly ended in a whole lot of gagging and coughing. Thankfully (for him at least) he had only drank a small amount of the glowing liquid.
The rest of it ended up on the ground below.

She doubted Zinkenite found the idea 'awesome' unless spoken with complete sarcasm. Nevertheless she watched with excited interest as Scheelite went about preparing the proper glowstick for consumption. She plucked her own new glowstick from her ribbon sash and inspected it while Scheelite was busy gnawing off the top of his new..uh...treat. Hmmm! What was that stuff on the inside? She always wondered what a glowstick was made of. Andromeda shook it a bit, watching the way the stuff she was looking at crackled and snapped inside the tube...like glass.
Were glowsticks made of glass? Wait! She didn't want him to swallow glass even if he was from the negaverse! "Um, Scheeli--" It was too late, he'd started to drink. Andromeda was shocked and somewhat surprised that he actually did it without considering maybe drinking a glowstick could kill you!? Her eyes widened and her mouth hung slightly open, staring at Scheelite and how calm he seemed to be. It was as if this was nothing! He did this every day! He--oh, there he goes. Andromeda squeaked and hopped back away from the falling glowstick as it splashed green all over the ground. Ewwwwww!
"Are you okay?" Andromeda asked with genuine concern, looking down at her glowstick again. "I..I think there's glass inside my glowstick..." Big shards of the stuff too. She got down carefully to pluck the fallen green glowstick off the ground and hold it gingerly between her thumb and her index finger, inspecting it critically. She didn't see any shards in it...though some of them were on the ground.
Scheelite didn't swallow them, did he?!
