In it, this girl decides to be nice to boys by letting them say she was their first date or whatever. All those testimonies get her a whore's reputation.

But she should have seen that coming. If she was so smart she wouldn't have done it.

I express the view that she brought it on herself and thus deserved it and get hatred and talked to like I was an idiot.

While she should have seen it coming, she did have good intentions. A lot of the times, a situation forces you to take the role of the bad guy even if it means something good. People won't realize you did them a service, but that's how the world works.
