 The day had only just begun, but felt like it had been going on for sometime now. A lone fox had been sunbathing in the sun's rays. A light purr parted from the mouth of the light and dark purple female. Her tail swished with joy as a butterfly landed on her nose. "Bonjour!" she said lovingly as she watched it land on her foot. She kicked lightly since it began to tickle from walking. A giggle was heard as she rolled onto her tummy to have her back warmed as well. Her golden eyes looked up into the tree, spotting a birds nest between the branches. She smiled then frowned a little as her ears drooped. She wished to have a family of her own one day, like her mother. She gave a little yawn then went back to sunbathing by the tree's shadow.

 Hideyoshi blinked blue eyes at the morning light. It wasn't usually a time he was awake, since he much preferred the colors offered by the sky at dusk. They were pretty, he thought, especially the purples and violets. Stretching his lean body, he let his claws dig into the earth a little and smiling at the cool feeling between his paw pads.
Today would be a good day, he decided.
Still smiling, he began to wander, just letting his paws take him where they would. His ears twitched a little as he thought he heard someone speak. A little odd, since he was usually by himself, but he didn't want to pass up the opportunity to meet someone new. He walked toward where he'd heard the voice, grinning when a giggle told him he was close. Just past a couple more trees, and he spotted the purple female sunbathing. Her colors reminded him of a sunset as he padded quietly toward her.
"Good morning, miss!" he said cheerfully with his slightly southern accent, "Beautiful day, ain't it?"

Lurante opened her golden eyes to catch sight of the blue male. She noticed that he was a yoshi fox as well. She smiled as she rolled onto her belly, rising to her feet. She gave off a light yawn as she stretched, digging her claws into the grass. "Oui. It's quite a beautiful day, no?" Replying back to him with her light french accent. She had picked it up from her mother since she had stayed with her while her sister was with their father. Her brother lived with another family, but she was happy to know that he had been alright.
"You are a yoshi, oui?" Asking as her tail flicked back and forth. She adored his coloration for it reminded her of the ocean. She loved to watch the sunset over the horizon. Watching the colors in the clouds and water below. "I'm know as Lurante, Lura for short. What might be your name, sir?" Asking as she walked around him to get a better look over him.

He smiled; she seemed very graceful as she rolled over to get to her feet. She had her own accent, much more elegant and delicate sounding than his own. It made her seem like...royalty, he decided, and that fit with her coloring as well.
He gave her a sideways grin when she asked if he was a yoshi. "Yes, ma'am, that I am," he said. His own tail swished behind him happily as he watched her. She had such a pretty name...and he almost missed her asking for his as he got lost in thought. "It's Hideyoshi, but most just call me Blue," he answered with another sideways grin. "So, Miss Lura, what brings you out here this fine morning?"

Lura gave ashy smile as he introduced himself. " Bleu? I like it and merci." She gave off a light giggle at his grin. He was quite a gentleman and she couldn't help, but to smile around him. Her tail swished side to side as her ears twitched at the question. "I'm usually asleep during the morning, but felt like having my usual sunbath. I enjoy feeling the sun's rays upon my fur." She explained as she sat down close to him. "Might I ask the same, Bleu?"

He nodded and smiled, "Me too. I don't usually get to see daylight like this. It seems...kinda borin' if you ask me. Afternoon's got the prettier colors," he stated and chuckled a little. "Evenin's even prettier~ Kinda reminds me of you," he said with a little flirtatious smirk.
"Ah, me? I was dozin' a little in the sun like you, then decided on a walk. Glad I did, too. Not often I get to meet someone as pretty as you, Miss Lura." He couldn't help it, and blushed a little. The words kept tumbling out of his mouth before he could stop them. He didn't mind though; pretty girls should be complimented in his opinion.

Lura giggled a little as he talked about mornings being dull and afternoon's being better. she blushed lightly when he talked about the evening being as pretty as she was. "Why thank you, Blue..." She said as she smiled at him.
"I enjoy a good sunbath ever once in a while." She spoke as her tail swished lightly behind her. She blushed even more at his compliment. "Merci, Blue... It's a combination from my parents."

He grinned, glad she was a female who appreciated being complimented. "My pleasure, Miss Lura," he said and bowed his head to her a little.
"Well they must make a good match then, to make someone like you," he smiled. "Sunbathing is real relaxing, I find. What else do you like to do in the summer time? Swimming is usually fun, heh."

"I do enjoy going swimming as well as finishing! Mama Angelique makes a delicious fish dinner with vegetables and mashed potatoes!" Lurante speaks as her paws lay against her chest. she licked her lips as her tail began to wag. She adored her mother's cooking and all the nights she would stay up with her to look at the stars.
"Oui, they have known each other for a long time and have been together since they had traveled to these lands." She spoke in her light accent as she moved closer to Blue. She blushed lightly at his compliments, "You are too kind, mother would love to meet someone like you." She said delicately.
