How dare he make him wait this long? Who did he think he was? Stupid flaming mongrel, he better know his place. Ever since Phyras had stumbled upon the male he had made Blaze his servant in a way. Blaze did what he wanted while the kit snipped and snapped and coldly regarded the older male with narrow, pink eyes that held no love in them. Now, Blaze had run off while he was napping, and Phyras was not amused. He was considering making the older male wear a chain so Phyras could tie him to a tree when he was busy.
He didn't have parents, and as a result Phyras had three options: Feel rejected and broken, being needy, or not care. The first two options seemed the best for him, and he had mixed them into a dark blend. He was possessive. Anything he put his paw on became his, and if it didn't, well, he'd throw a fit. Deities knew what he would become when he grew.
"Blaze!"
(( I was thinking, Phyras is immature and rude as a kit, but, when Phyras runs off for a bit and returns as an adult he completely has changed, attracting Blaze once more and going through the plot we had in mind over PM's ))

"Little brat." Was the only thing that Blaze could think of to say. The little whelp treated him like crap and then expected him to stick around, ha! Not likely. Not that he was running away, cause let's face it that would be the most irresponsible thing he could do, but he was taking a little break from the.....'little angel'. He coughed under his breath as an evil smirk crossed his face. He could just imagine the look on the kids face when he woke up to see him gone.
He would have paid anything to see his face, then again maybe he was best that he wasn't around. "Ah!" Cringing, he heard his name shrieked, obviously the kid was awake. Was his first thought. "Damn...." His conscious was nagging at him to go back to the kid, but in a way Phyras deserved this. If he didn't change the way he acted, then Blaze didn't plan to stick around long after the kit grew. The only thing that kept him around was the fact that he had failed royally in raising his own kits, and he found this a way of redeeming himself, if only partially.
"Tech, over here! Little brat..." He mumbled the last part of it.

Phyras's ear flicked, turning when he heard the sound of Blaze's voice. The fox huffed at the sound, standing and approaching where he had heard the damn male. When he spotted the flaming male he glared at him, jerking his head to the side. "You left me far to long, so, I ate your share of the kill you hunted earlier." He mused, licking his lips silently. This was a lie, but, he was in a bad mood at the male. Pink eyes narrowed, head tilting when the male seemed to be in a bad mood.
"Well, whatcha doing there just standing? Lie down." Phyras rode on Blaze's back, Blaze knew that! As much as any male or vixen did! Hmpf, like Kiki. Oh, she had been soft and fluffy, but Blaze had a warmth that none had. It must be his tail.

Blaze regarded the little kit, his tail flicking in irritation. "Fine with me...I'm the one that does all the hunting so I can easily go out and catch something else..." Keep it up and I won't hunt for you ever again. He finished in his head. Little p***k. "Excuse me?" Blaze bit his lower lip to keep from growling at Phyras. Seriously, what was it about this kit hat crawled under his skin and allowed him to be treated in such a disrespectful manner. He wouldn't tolerate this treatment from anyone else, so why the kid?
"Why don't you lie on your back? I can ride on you for a change." He said snappily as he smirked.

Phyras huffed, shaking his head. "You know the drill, candlebutt." He snapped back, tail lashing back and forth before his eyes narrowed at the male. He suddenly smirked at the fire male, pawing at his face. "Come on, you never protested before, so get down." He grumbled, glaring at the male. This was the closest to family he would ever had, and frankly, the kit could care less if Blaze hated it. Blaze had begun to fall under him, and so, Phyras began to use him. So why did he feel a little uneasy when he thought of Blaze just up and leaving?
No, he didn't care. As long as people gave him attention, as long as he had power and could crush anyone, he was happy. But he was only a kit, so, he hardly had any power except with other kits.
"Get. Down." Phyras's eyes narrowed, tail whipping side to side as he waited for the male to obey him.

"Make me....I would love to see you try Ras...." Blaze looked down at the little kit with amusement. "Besides it won't kill you to walk...In fact I think it will do you a load of good....build up those legs muscles you barely use....You don't want to grow up and be fat now do you....cause then even the strongest Daeva in the world wouldn't be able to carry your fat a**." He loved teasing the kit he had to admit. Phyras might be an ungrateful little p***k, but he was awfully cute when he was upset because he didn't get his way.
"Wait....did you just call me....candlebutt?" Blaze blinked in surprise as he looked down at the pink kit, "Really? Is that my new nickname or something?" He cringed. 'Candlebutt'? What the hell kind of nickname was that?

Phyras snarled at the older male, baring his teeth viciously at the male. His tail flicked at him, laughing in his high voice at the males response to the candlebutt part. Oh, did it bother him that much? Good to know. He padded up to Blaze, stood on his back legs so he could reach his nose, and bit it. Hard. With this, the boy glared at his "servant", thumped his tail against the ground, and snarled.
"Yes, now, instead of huffing about your nickname, get your scrawny butt down. I want to go now." He huffed. He always got his way, and, he knew he would again. This male would obey him, or Phyras would find someone new. He wanted obedience. Absolute obedience.
'Now."
(( When Phyras is an adult, It'd be fun to watch Blaze fall both for him and hate his face. Phyras will be a lot tougher as an adult. ))

Blaze blinked at the high laugh from the little kit, what the hell was that about? It was like the kit was possessed or something. Most days he found it slightly amusing, but today it was just pissing him off. "I didn't huff you little twerp...." he growled slightly, "I was just stating that it was a ridiculous nickname...but whatever...call me it if you like." He shrugged his shoulders. He only said it in hopes that the kid would lay off the wise cracks about his candle, it was one of the issues he was sensitive about.
"Scrawny?" He gaped, "You call these muscles scrawny!" He flexed his leg muscles to prove that he was anything but weak. "Right....insult me some more and I might be more inclined to do you a favor kid." he comically glared at Phyras.
(that is going to be funny)

Phyras let out a laugh as the male showed off his "muscules", shaking his head. "Compared to a lame vixen, maybe." He hissed back, eyes narrowing at the male with maliciousness that was more suited for an adult than a little pink kit. Phyras scowled at him, flicking his tail back and forth in a lashing manner. Really, this boy was getting on his nerves. Huffing much like a child, the boy approached Blaze and bit his leg, glaring up at him.
"Lets go, I don't want to be out when its dark." Was he scared of the dark? Hell yes! He was just a small kit in a big, scary, dark world! That was another reason he kept Blaze around. He had fire right when he needed it.

"Ow!" He yelped when the kit bit him, then he seriously thought about kicking him. But he had never raised a paw to a kit and wasn't about to start now. Oh he could not wait until this kit was grown and he didn't have to bother with him anymore. "Fine you know what you little brat..." He reached down and roughly grabbed him by the scruff of the neck and started to walk through the forest back toward his den. Like hell he was going to let the little demon ride on his back where he could do further harm. At least carrying him in the front his teeth and claws couldn't lash at out him cause Phyras was facing forward as well.
It only took a couple of minutes before Blaze arrived back at the cave and set the demon down by his bed, "Now shut the hell up and go to bed you little demon." Blaze walked over to his own bed and laid down, placing his head on his paws.

Phyras scowled as he was lifted, however it was a free ride and that was all he cared about. When the male dropped him he landed on all fours, looking up at the older male with wide eyes as he traveled to his bed. Now, Phyras was known for sneaking into bed with Blaze, later snarling that it was the males damn fault because he took the good bed. Phyras did just that, going to his own bed and closing his eyes for a few minutes, then, casually strolling over to Blaze.
He moved against his tail so that when it grew dark the light of the fire would keep the shadows from attacking him (or so he believed), and snuggled into Blaze, resting his head on his tail. The kit however was a deep sleeper, so, when he did fall asleep he'd never know if Blaze would just get up and leave. Such as was experienced earlier.

Blaze was fully awake, knowing that the little kit was going to sneak over to his bed. It happened every night he didn't know why he bothered to put Phyras in his bed at all. The little guy was afraid of the dark, so it was only natural for him to seek out someone to protect him from the shadows. What he couldn't understand was why wasn't Phyras this cute when he was awake. Looking down at the little kit he couldn't help but smile at him, and wrap his tail more securely around him.
It was moments like this that was the reason Blaze stayed around at all. No matter how the kit acted, he needed Blaze. He wished he would just show it in a less violent and destructive manner.

That's when the storm hit. Above thunder rumbled, a bright flash of lightening breaking through the darkness. Phyras's ears flicked, however, he did not awaken, merely curled closer to the fire on Blaze's tail, head nuzzling into the fur. He did not notice the rain beginning to fall, or, the tree's that were falling over by the violent wind. He did not notice that if they did not leave the cave soon they could possibly become trapped. The tree's near the entranced were starting to look close to falling over.
No, for the small kit was asleep peacefully, warm and dry, against Blaze's fur. He would not awaken easily, as was being proven.

Blaze sighed as he looked at the storm outside. It was getting worse and he was afraid that if he didn't do something soon he was going to be trapped in there with the little kit. Knowing it might wake the little demon, Blaze gathered him up and slid the small kit onto his lower back and stood up. "Guess I have no choice but to chance it."
Right as the cave started to collapse on itself, Blaze managed to dart out into the rain. Within minutes he was soaked to the bone, but he kept his tail over the kit to attempt to keep him as dry as he could. Meanwhile he walked through the forest looking for another place that would suit him for the night.

The kit barely fluttered an eye when he was lifted and carried about, the storm was more than relaxing to the male. However, little did Blaze know, during his movements the kit fell off his back, falling into the mud and rolling down the slight hill, awakening only when he fell into a tree. The kit opened an eye, letting out an annoyed squeak as he realized he was covered in mud, and glanced upwards.
Where was Blaze?
The hill was to steep for him to climb at his current size. He set a shaky paw against the muddy hill, attempting to pull himself up, falling over onto his butt. The kit looked up at the loud, dark sky, ears flicking against his head when thunder rumbled. "Blaze?!" He screeched, his voice silenced by the sounds of the storm. The small kit let out a whimper, once more attempting to climb the hill, falling over yet again.
Blaze had to find him! Or did he just leave him here? Did Blaze abandon him? The kit's eyes widened, voice shaky as he let out a low cry. "Blaze I'm sorry!" He wailed, cringing when thunder raised again. "Don't leave me here!" He cried out, cringing into the side of the tree.
"I'm scared, Blaze!" He wailed, moving against the side of the tree, surprised when he suddenly fell backwards into a hole in the tree. He squirmed, making himself a small ball and hiding into the dry bark.
