Anthony Darrow was getting fairly used to being attacked by things, or stumbling into traps and fights. He was almost used to getting himself hurt or at the very least thoroughly scared or worried. He was very, very used to being confused.

He wasn't so used to being stuck to a wall.

The youma that had put him up there, presumably for storage as it didn't seem particularly interested in him at the moment, was slinking around on the ground some ten feet below him. It could scale the tall building easily enough, as he had learned, and spat some rather strong sticky substance, which he had also learned.

It stuck him to the wall like a picture, slightly askew if Tony was going to nitpick and then, instead of eating him, had gone down to the alley in search of something else. A garnish for its meal? Or maybe it just had a short attention span. It was still beneath him, looking like a large, fat caterpiller, and he was kicking his feet helplessly.

"Can anyone help me?!" he dared to call, and the youma looked up at him. It had what had to be a million eyes, which matched its million legs, and it stared at him long and hard before it decided to start climbing back up toward him.

"Oh. Good. I reminded you about me. Way to go, Tony."

Maia head been heading toward where she felt the youma and her pace only quickened at the voice that called out for help. It seemed a familiar voice too, but she did not have time to think about such things, no she had a battle to win and someone to save. All in a night works she guessed.

Jumping onto the rooftop of the building the cry had come from Maia ran over to the egde and looked over the side to see a youma and a nasty looking one at that, climbing up the side of the building, but much more dire a situation was Tony Darrow, being stuck rather oddly to the wall, like he been not so saved by spiderman.

"Don't worry," said leaning over the building and reaching down to see if she could grab him, but he wasn't close enough. "I am going to get you out of this situation Mr.D ...." she stopped. She had almost called him by him name. Oh that would have been weird. She hoped he did notice.

Her frown deepened as the youma got closer and it seemed their was nothing for it. She hoped on the legde and jumped aiming to grab hold of the youma.

Tony didn't have the presence of mind to wonder about the senshi almost using his name. He didn't even notice it, truth be told. Probably because he was trying very hard to not die at the moment. He did at least look up when he heard the voice, spotting the senshi and feeling relief rush over him.

They always showed up at the best of times. He adored their ability to do that.

Even more so now because he was in need of help.

The youma did not like being attacked, lashing out against Maia with a glob of sticky spit, which was what had felled Tony and stuck him to the wall. He hoped she didn't suffer a similar fate, or they would both be youma food.

"Be careful!" Tony yelled helplessly, kicking his feet and trying to get himself free. It felt like the stuff used to attach him to the wall had gone through his jacket and shirt, leaving him well stuck. Not that he wanted to resort to that.

Maia frowned as her bow and boots were assaulted by something sticky and rather unpleasant, but since she was free falling, she hadn't much time to react. It knocked her slightly off course and she had to grab hold of a leg to avoid missing the youma completely.

She held tight to the leg despite the grossness of it. She sticky goo, dripping from her bow as she held on her dear life while she swung her legs trying to get moment for a good kick to the youma underbelly. Oh how she hoped it was soft.

Tony's words were heard, and her response came through clenched teeth albeit a little late, "I'll be fine. I do this all the time unfortunately." She needed to focus, make the youma focus on her and get it back to the ground.

One last swing, as hard as she could she aimed her pointy heel at the youma's tummy.

Tony watched as the senshi fell toward the youma, hoping she wasn't going to get herself hurt in the effort to protect him.A constant worry, truly, for anyone that came to help him.

The youma was built as might be expected for a common caterpillar. Just very large.

"I know you do! Still! Be careful!" Tony called back, struggling to get himself free. He pushed at the wall forcefully, hard as he could, putting his feet back onto the wall and planting his hands back against it as well. He pushed with all his might.

The youma fell away from the wall when it was kicked, falling to the floor and landing on the alley floor below. Tony yelled an encouraging battle cry, which sounded more fearful than he would have liked, when the youma plummeted. It wasn't dead yet, spitting its sticky goo in all directions as it tried to roll to its feet.

And Tony suddenly found the stuff keeping him to the wall cracking and giving way, leaving him falling toward the youma. He landed on its underside, bouncing liike on an inflatable bed. He looked up at Maia helplessly, spindly legs of the youma closing around him like a cage.

Maia could only nod to the warning given as she attempted to kick the youma. She was happy when her heal connected hard with the youma caterpillar tummy, but let out a scream at the sudden fall. In the moment she hadn't thought of that and so as the youma landed she clung desperately to the leg trying not to be flung.

She heard Tony's yell, but did not expect that moments later would have him bouncing on the youma's belly as though her was in an inflatable bounce castle. The legs of the youma closed around him and Maia had to let go, landing on the ground beside the youma and ending up right in a pile of sticky goo.

Her eyes went wide at Tony as now they were both trapped. She tried desperately to free herself even going as far as to jump, but she nearly fell and quickly decided jumping wasn't the answer.

She did not want the youma turning its attention to her, but with all he fidgeting to get free, it was wishful thinking.

"I don't mean to sound panicked," Tony said, sounding panicked, "but I don't think this is going very well."

The youma didn't seem to agree either. Yes, it had a captive now, but what was it going to do with him? The giant caterpillar with spindly legs was still on its back, and it had its legs curled around Tony as if it wanted to give him a big, creepy hug. Tony was not inclined to want to participate, but he wasn't given much choice.

It was times like this when he missed being stuck to the wall.

But, because it was a bug built like a fat slug rather than one with dexterous arms, it had to drop Tony as it turned itself onto its side. He slipped through its arms and hit the ground, then scrabbled to get out of the way while it was turning over. The big, surprisingly squishy and soft, though still heavy, youma rolled on top of him and he vanished under it with a muffled yelp.

The youma turned to look at Maia, not having much space to work with in the alley. It pulled its head back and made to spit at her again, to get her pinned down so it could at least eat one of them.

If it were a spider it wouldn't be having so many issues, it would have thought ruefully if it were capable of thought or bitterness.

"I'm sorry. You never know what to expect from on of these," she said trying to remain calm for Tony. She did not want to panic about the current situation when she should be able to handle a youma. It wasn't as if they were being attack my a negaverser agent.

She was happy to see Tony freed, but not so happy to see the youma roll over on top of him as it turned its focus to her. "MR DARROW," she shouted as he disappeared beneath the youma and panic began to rise and her chest. The youma was coming after her and it being on top of Tony posed a serious problem. If she attacked it, her notes would slow it down, and Tony would remain under the dead wait of the slumped youma and with Maia unable to move she could attack it.

She quickly summoned her phone fumbling with the thing to call for back up, while the youma went about shooting a sting of sticky stuff at her, which clung to her fuku knocking her to the ground with a yelp her phone popping out of existence as she dropped it.

She was lucky the she landed on her butt her bow beneath her, which could be removed. She looked to her shoes, so many buttons, but removable as well. Could so do it?

Super Chaonis was glad he usually stuck by the library for ten or twelve minutes out of the day, or every other day. Sure, it wasn't the most regular of schedules, but he did, at least, come around sometimes.

And look what he found? Just what he was always expecting to find, whenever he was inclined to make sure his dad was okay. His dad. Not okay.

Surprise, surprise.

The Senshi of Danger shook his head, glad he was powered up, bouncing from the roof to find the youma and the other senshi, which he had sensed and assumed was tied in to Tony being in trouble, down an alley. He couldn't see his dad, and certainly couldn't sense him because he had no power signature, but simple assumed Maia had gotten him to safety after he had fallen from the building.

That was when Chaonis had spotted him, bouncing from roof top to roof top. His dad, stuck on the side of the building. Then he fell out of sight, and this was what he now had on his hands.

"Hey, Maia!" He called, dropping down to land on the youma's back as it spat at the other senshi, not noticing the phone or that Maia was, in fact, looking for back up at that moment. He was just arriving at a convenient time. "Need some help?" The youma pitched backwards, revealing Tony under it as it raised up onto its last section of legs, trying to throw Chaonis from its head.

"Whoa! Ride 'em cowboy!"

Maia grinned happy to see Chaonis, "Chaonis, you have got some amazing timing," she shouted as he landed on the youma and revealed Tony beneath it.

"You okay," she called to him as she scrambled to undo the many, many buttons on her shoes. Though after moment she simply ripped them opening popping off all the buttons. When she powered up again, they would be fine so she wasn't worried.

Legs freed she shimmed out of her skirt and bow, which remained stuck to the googey mess, revealing her top was in fact a leotard although her fuku appeared to be one piece. She grinned jumping up and running over to Tony to get him away from the youma, although currently she looked more suited to a day at the beach.

"Do I?"

Chaonis grinned. He liked the sound of that. That meant she must owe him now, because he had clearly come to her rescue. Better an accidental rescue than none at all, surely. He'd think on it more, but he was busy trying not to fall off the youma he was currently riding. It was not the fastest of things, but it was bulky and it did not like having a senshi on its head.

Oddly enough.

Tony was not conscious at the moment, though he was breathing and groaned when he subconsciously heard her voice. He did not protest when she moved to help him, slowly coming to as she did so. He looked around blearily, then realized he was still too close to the youma for his taste.

"Oh!"

Chaonis tumbled to the floor, but landed mostly on his feet, having punched the youma a few times on the head before it tossed him. He looked at Tony, who had never seen him before for any extended length of time, then at Maia.

"Get him out of here, will ya? He's just going to slow us down... are you going swimming?"
PostPosted: Tue May 10, 2011 4:47 pm

Maia frowned at the Chaonis, then turned to the rather disoriented Tony and put a hand on his shoulder. "Come we better get you out of here," she said ignoring Chaonis although her whole face turned red indicating she had heard him. She couldn't focus on her lack of a skirt at the moment though.

She looked up to the building she had jumped down from and realizing it was bit higher than she could probably jumping with another in tow, but she had to try.

She helped Tony up and got ready to jump, but hesitated, fore if they fell short the fall would not be pretty. She did move away from the youma, however, shuffling a bit further down the alley. A few steps and her crystal popped into her mind and she knew just what to do.

"Mint Crystal Power," she sang out continuing to sing a random lullabye which was the first song that popped into her head. Knowing she would run out of breath quickly at a sprint, she grabbed a good hold of Tony and ran up the musical rainbow which took her a good story up before she jumped with Tony in tow to land on the roof.

Her song ended the moment she jumped and rainbow disappear. So anything on the rainbow at the time had to jump or fall. She released Tony and said slowly, "please, stay here Mr. Darrow. I maybe, we will be back up."

With that she jumped back down ready to assist Chaonis if he needed it.

Chaonis watched Maia for a moment, shaking his head. Just what was stripping going to do against the caterpillar? It clearly did not care what she was or was not wearing, and he didn't know it was spitting sticky globs at them. He hadn't actually wondered why Tony had been stuck to that wall, simply seeing that he had been and going with that.

Ask questions later. Maybe. If he felt like it. Usually not.

Tony clung to Maia as Chaonis turned back to the youma, cracking his knuckles as he did so. While the younger Darrow was fighting, Tony was very much interested in running away. His body was sore and stiff, though nothing seemed to be broken from the youma sitting on top of him.

Unless his pride counted. But he didn't think it did. It never did.

He would likely just be one big bruise.

When she got him up to the roof, his mind boggling at just how she had done it, he nodded his head slowly and sat on the floor where he was placed. He would watch the fight, but he could not really help. He moved to the edge to watch as Maia jumped back down, and saw the other senshi already deeply involved in punching and kicking the giant bug.

"There you are! Hey, this thing is made of mush. If we both get hold of its head and give it a real hard pull, I bet you it'll come right off. Want to see?" He grinned at her, since most girls did not like bugs and popping a large one like this open was probably the worst thing he could have suggested at that moment. Right?

Maia ran over to Chaonis, but her I'm ready to help look turned to a look a pure disgust at the thought of popping the things head off.

"Are you serious," she asked silently amused by the question as there was a Salior Sirius and he most certainly was not her, but she kept her corny amusement to herself. "Personally I would rather not, as I have had enough of its innards all over me to last a life time," she said motioning to the very stuck bottom half of her fuku.

She knew however that the senshi of danger was indeed very serious and he need not answer her most rhetorical question. She shook her head with a sigh, frowning deeply. "If we are going to do that just let me calm it down, at least make it easy to pop the thing head off, just distract it okay?"

The last statement was made hastily while she dodged the rollie creatures attempts at retaliation, before jumping away and readying her attack.

"Absolute Harmony," she cried out not bother to see whether Chaonis was indeed distracting the youma. She just wanted this to be over and to be fully clothed again. The music filled her and the notes formed rushing like a mini tornado of color at the giant caterpillar.

Chaonis tilted his head to the side, as if pouting.

"But it would be the easiest way to kill it," he argued, though he certainly had no proof of that. It would be a sure way to kill it, at the very least. He grinned at her, though, implying with the devious look that he wasn't going to not do it just because she asked.

He was sometimes nice. And now just wasn't one of those times.

Waiting for her to attack it, she let her do her lullaby attack, which he had seen before when they were fighting those bird monsters. He waited for his cue, at least, waving his arms all around and making sure the big, dumb youma was watching him.

"Come here, fat head! Look at me!"

It spat at him, but he was constantly moving and wasn't too worried about it. It didn't know how to play Space Invaders, and was aiming at where he was rather than where he was going to be. The caterpillar was easily caught by Maia's attack, and Chaonis ran in without her telling him to in order to kill the thing.

He leaped up, grabbed its head and did just was he said, yanking it as hard as he could. As with most bugs, it didn't stay connected for long and it burst in a rush of that sticky slime before it exploded into dust, coating the slime with a new, even less appealing filth.

"Oh... gross..." Chaonis said, holding his hands out because he didn't want to get them glued to himself.
