Well, as we all know, Osama is dead. Express your views and thoughts here. Respect one another's opinions.

Well. It doesn't directly affect me in anyway possible.
All I can say is that US and Canadian Governments don't plan on stopping anytime soon to deal with terrorism so let's just hope this doesn't cause a serious backlash.

I think the US is being way too prideful and arrogant. People are cheering because he dead, which is for the most part understandable. But we are acting as if we are ******** Gods or something. Just a tad bit annoying.

He's dead. I understand why people are happy, but I agree, people are acting godly about it. However, facebook is having a field day with it, I know for fact it's going to annoy me with in a few days. I frankly don't care if he's dead, i mean if he died years ago I'd be like "FINALLY", it was dragged on too long for me to care anymore.

This can only end in failure.

Oh it will, just hopefully a matter of time before someone knocks their ego's down a peg or two.
However, since he's now dead, surely they will spend way less money on it and send people home? As I am not American I don't really know the situation, not really educated in the area.

The amount of bro fist and high fives about this topic is really wrong. People are taking to the streets, partying, rioting in some areas. We say as Americans that we are the good guys but what we are doing now looks really close to the days after 9/11 in some middle eastern areas.

I'm american, but my life was never really affected by Osama, personally. Or financially. Or in any other way. -shrugs- People die, it happens. My ex girlfriend died. That was something that effected me. I am sorry for the people who lost loved ones on 9/11, but it's just something that happened to me. It's kind of like.. Thousands of people died when titanic sunk. But I didn't lose any sleep over that after reading about it or seeing the film. It may sound cold hearted, but that's just the way I am on matters such as this.

I agree people should take a breath of relief that a such a threat is gone but I think it's a little over done. I'm from Canada so there's not much happening anyways. We're going through an election currently so that's mostly our concern.

I see it as, because presidential elections are close at hand, it is a little odd that something this big would occur. What I mean by that is Obama hasn't had the greatest reviews, and for him to suddenly give the green light for troops to kill what the US considers its biggest enemy is a little strange. Not too mention, they could have perhaps taken him in in a less combative way. Tear gas, tazers, ec cetera. But no, let's shoot them all. xP. I think it would have been a lot more entertaining to bring him in. However, people don't want to take the chance of him ranting about his own religion and talking s**t on Christianity, so they got rid of him in the easiest way possible.
I apologize is I sound like a conspiracy theorist... but I kinda am. Hahah.

It's a political hip-hop artist that delves into a lot of conspiracy theories, such as the Illuminati, and things like that.
He was the first rapper that I ever enjoyed hearing, and I always hated rap before I found him. So at least give it a shot :]

I just thought it was very awkward that a lot of people seemed to be celebrating the death of a man & I live in Texas.. most of the time. Everyone on Facebook seemed to be cheering about it (I have friends in Albuquerque who texted me at like 12 just to tell me).
I think that prison or jail would have been just fine, I also don't like how the media hyped it up a lot and over exaggerated the details and then had to go back on their previous statements.
