I thought it would be fun to get a photo themes group going in Flickr especially for the GPG. Flickr is a website where you can upload pictures and make sets of your own pictures and add your photos to groups. Current Theme: Pink on Girls, Blue on Boy If you are interested in joining, here's what to do:Sign-up for Flickr. If you already have a Yahoo ID, you can just sign-in using that.
Post in this thread letting me know your Flickr ID.
Add me as a contact on Flickr.
I'll add you as a friend on Flickr and invite you to the group.
In order to view the group photos, I think that you have to add them as friends or family in Flickr. This is because I made the group private so we can hopefully avoid wackos joining or viewing the group.
Other details:Only GPG members are allowed to join the group.
There are group rules posted in the Flickr group so read and abide by them.
I will announce the current theme both here and there.
If you have any questions, ask away.

Nopen, you have been added to my contacts and invited. Angie, you have been invited.
To get your pictures in the group pool, first you have to upload them to your account. Then you hit the organize button/tab thingie and load your pictures there. Then drag the ones you want into the group. I hope that makes sense.

Ooh, I have a question about this actually: are they going to be children's photos and that's it or are you making this something that more people can participate in?
I'm just asking because if it's for children's photos in the theme then I have to wait a few months before I can participate. xd

Oh! I meant to address that earlier, Dirge. The themes are going to be pretty generic so everyone, including supporters and parents with babies on the way, can participate. For example, the first theme is "Smiles" so you can add any pictures having to do with smiles. They don't have to be of your children smiling. The can be of you, your dog, your best friend, a pet rock, and so on smiling. biggrin
