I didn't see one made, or I couldn't find one is what I really meant. Here we can just hang out in a general chat amongst ourselves as a whole.
I'd like to start by asking. Whats your favorite Pokemon? If you cant pick a specific one, then Favorite Type?
You don't have to answer these questions lol, I'm just trying to get the party started.
Anyhow, my favorite Pokemon is Kingdra. My favorite type is Dragon.
Unimportant things about myself. The names John, but you can call me Jerz if you wish.I been gaming since I was able to hold a controller. Played every Pokemon game starting from Pokemon Red/Blue. I like the colors Red/White/Blue/Black/Green. I love comedy films, I love anime. Huge fan of Rurouni Kenshin, Gundam series, YuYu Hakusho, Zoids, Pokemon ofcourse lol, many more ask if interested. I mostly play Xbox now adays. Gears of War 2 and 3 Beta. CoD Black ops, MW2, Red Dead Redemption, Assassins Creed! Love those damn games. Pokemon of course, again lol. Fire Emblem, Gundam games. I may seem a bit old for some of you, but I'm 23 years old. Have 6 yrs in the US Army, 1 of which I spent in Iraq. I drive a '92 Chevy Camaro, college student, majoring in Graphic Design & Animation, but may change to Criminal Justice next semester...lets see how I feel about it. I'm laid back, relaxed kind of person. Some animals I like are Eagles, White tigers, Dragons, Wolves. Thats all for now. If your curious about somethings ask. If you decide to quote this post, try to quote only what you need to. Quoting the entire post would stretch the page too much lol.
The randomness has ended, enjoy the Hangout.

Well, generally, if you want to talk about random stuff, we have a Chatterbox Subforum for that. The main forum is typically for Pokemon related questions or chat topics. For example, your "Favorite Pokemon and Type" questions pop up as individual threads in the Main Forum all the time.
A thread like this in particular doesn't really exist. There is the Introduction thread, but I don't think that's what you're looking for.
I can move this topic to the Chatterbox Subforum if you want, or you can make another topic there. I wouldn't worry about people not seeing this thread, as the Recent 5 posts seen on the Guilds Home or on our Guild Home page will most likely have it pop up.

Move the thread if you need to. I have no issue with that. 3nodding I was just making a thread where everyone can just hang out and chat about any topic that came to mind. Rather than making several threads to express several topics, we can just all chat in this one and become more friendly amongst each other.

Do as you wish. After all, that's what the Chatterbox is for. If you're anything like me, you find yourself really bored without the PSN.

If thats the case, I have a PS3 but it recently broke down. I dont have the yellow lights, but it doesnt read any of my game discs. I think the laser has finally failed on me. neutral You can most likely find me on the Xbox now a days. 3nodding

The Playstation network, yes. You could try cleaning it, or taking it to a local game shop. If the lens is broken it ought to be an easy fix.

I take it that the PSN is still down? That has really got to suck, considering all the wild stories why it was shut down.
I fortunately have a 360, though I will admit that this is my 3 purchase of that darn console considering RROD. I sometimes wonder if it would have been better just to buy a suped up PC for the price of a new console considering I could just buy the ports of most console games.

@Luther, I'll try that thanks. What kind of games you like, if you dont mind me asking? I been glued to Castle Crashers the past few days. @Nitrox, Sounds like a well planned schedule. xd I'll be getting the escalation map pack myself on Xbox. What kind of summer camp you working at? Are you a counselor? I can somewhat remember the last time I went to a summer camp. It was nothing but fighting where I went. xd "Camp Hope" really ghetto camp. -shrugs- @Cormini, bad luck man...I was lucky enough to never get the RROD. And thank god I didnt. I did buy the new xbox slim though. The 250G one. Funny "Pokemon in Real Life" Vid - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e1h5TzdTq0o&NR=1

Saw that vid. Well done. Not a fun schedule AT ALL. But I'll be working at Camp Seagull in a month or so. I'll be teaching tennis and watching a cabin.

Tennis? You have a tennis team background? Or just showing them the basics?
I never really got into sports. I did try most of them though. Football was easy, but not my thing. Basketball, I had a nice 3 shot, but other then that I sucked lol. Tennis I tried, but didnt feel like something for me. Volleyball was ok. Baseball I was actually pretty good at, but I had no interest in it. neutral
Then I found a gaming console...and I found the sport I loved. xd Well I didnt find it, my uncle introduced the Sega Genesis to me. Then from then on, I was hooked on games.

Ah, video games. I wish I could play more of them... But you know those anti-gaming parent types... :/
Yup, I was varsity my senior year at high school. I'm not the best, but I know what I'm talking about. I've taught before and things have gone smoothly enough... My great uncle saw this experience and hired me to help with the camp. Should be fun.

At least your talents will be put to good use. 3nodding You'll have something to teach your kids. Some people play sports through all of High school and then never touch it again. And once they do, they get shocked when they realize they dont have the "magic" anymore. neutral Happened to 3 of my friends. 2 Played football with me, other played baseball. After highschool we all went our different ways. I went military and college, 2 of them went to college with scolarships. Last 1 got lazy and sort of did nothing after school. But hey, thats choices people make for themselves. 3nodding
Anyhow, what kind of games you into? I liked RPG's way back when PS1 was out like Final Fantasy. Then fighting games caught my interest like Tekken. Socom was hot till I met Call of duty 4. That was the 1st, 1st person shooter that ever caught my attention and held it. After that I found Gears of War, ended up being my favorite 3rd person.

I'm kinda all over the board. Pokemon was with me all my gaming career: much to everyone's surprise, Sapphire was my first Pokemon game. Shows you how hard it was for me to start gaming... I immediately loved Zelda when I got Minish Cap and have been trying to get myself to play the older games ever since. I'm a minor FF fan, as my brother got FFIV, which was fun until I left from being undertrained and stuck at a certain part. When I got my PSP, I borrowed a friend's FFVII and beat that, including breeding a Gold Chocobo and beating all weapons. My PSP was the Dissidia bundle, which is a great game and really the only Fighting style game I ever got into. I have a Wii at home, which introduced me to the Metroid series through Prime 3: Corruption. I am currently working through the Prime Collector's Edition and am loving it. Twilight Princess was my first Wii game, which continued my love of Zelda and all its games. I cannot wait for Skyward Sword. Of course, I Brawl all the time and play Pokemon online with people here. Well, it's been a while... I never got introduced to FPS until a friend brought his PS3 over and taught me how to play MW2. I am now decent at Black Ops and have my own Xbox Gamertag for about one more week. My cousin and friend got me looking into Portal. It was epic and I now own both games, the second being on Steam.
And there's my gaming story. Don't know why the sudden urge to type it all up.
