I looked at the main page of the guild just a moment ago, and saw that it said that the book club is going to soon begin reading a book called the Spiral Dance. Is that the book by Starhawk? I've been wanting to read it, and just haven't gotten the money to buy it yet.
Is there any way I can get a copy of it on the internet? lol our library doesn't carry it, so I either have to buy it or find it somewhere.

I dunno, but I do recommend reading Starhawk's books. I just finished The Pagan Book of Living and Dying, and was blown away by the vast amount of information, stories, and chants. Good stuff!

Sang: I know it's on Amazon, I just don't have any money to buy it right now, so I can't get it just yet. I was hoping for something that would work until I got a copy from them.

Sorry, I misinterpreted your post.
And never miss a chance to plug Book Depository. They treat me right.
Inter-library loan is where your library arranges for a book you want to get shipped in from another library.
I'm thinking it's about time I pulled my head out and got this up and running, so will a week be long enough for you to sort out a copy? We can leave it a bit longer if you like.

Inter-library loan is a wonderful thing. You should ask your library if they participate.

I love the inter-library loan system. roller-chick361 What's "inter-library loan"? Basically, if your library is a participating member, they can order (almost) any book from any other participating library, anywhere across the country - for free. Might take a couple weeks to get the book, but it sure beats having to buy something.

Alright sounds good to me. I'll give them a call later today and see if they participate. I'll let you know if I can get a copy. If I can't get one soon, then as soon as I have the ability, I'll buy a copy and get caught up.

I got this book at my local discount book store for 8 bucks. Very cheap buy. I love it so far! My goodness....

I will be stepping out of this one, I think. I wasn't a huge fan of the book the first time I read it; something about Starhawk's writing tone really irks me. Good luck with it!

Just from what I know about Starhawk and the bit on the back, I don't have hugely high hopes but i'll give it a go at least.

Well, I called the library today and they told me that they can try to get the book through inter-library loan. They'll let me know when they get it. In the mean time, don't wait on me to start reading. I'll catch up.
