Charlotte had woken up in the early morning...again. The foals inside her seemed to have an inclination of when the sun was peeking over the horizon and decided that it was time to be awake. Charlotte would like to disagree and stay asleep, but it was hard with them moving so much.

Now that she was up and about they seemed to relax and enjoy the ride, which wouldn't last if she tried laying back down so this morning she decided it might be best to go for a walk. They'd be comfortable and she'd...well...she'd be a bit relaxed. She smiled and trudged onward, only stopping if something happened to look pretty tasty for breakfast. So far she'd been lucky to find an apple hanging low enough off a tree that she could just get it. It wasn't like she could jump up and grab some any more. Ah, hindrances.

Charlotte smiled, loving the fact that soon she would have two or three beautiful children to be with and watch grow up. The foals seemed to like this thought as well because one of them took this moment to lodge its self uncomfortably under her ribs. It made it awkwardly restrictive to breathe now and she wondered what she could do to have them move their little butt.

Now that she'd been walking for a while the sun was completely up and she wondered how long it actually had been since she wok up. She thought on this and wondered if she should head back, surely Devicius would be worried if he woke up and she was no where to be found? She flicked her ears but kept walking the direction she was currently going. He would be okay.

Akuba strode a long the emerald green grass, behind him followed two other generations of which he was proud to call his own. He said nothing to them as he strode along, he just hummed to himself and listened to them talk amongst themselves. He frowned at the sun, soon it'd be his turn to hibernate, or to drag himself to solitude.

It wasn't uncommon for Stripe's father to be up early, he was an early bird usually catching the cold air. Stripe always admired her father he'd always been there for her even when things were round for him. She nudged her daughter's side and smiled at her although all she wanted to do was cry, Echo reminded her of Moam too much, but she had to take it.
There was one of her children she never got to see out of it's basket, thinking of that thought she felt deprived and breathless, she then hung her head.

Echo trudged behind her grandfather and beside her mother she hadn't a clue where they were going, probabbly a better spot to graze?
She knew her mother'd always done the best for her and her grandfather has taught her so well, the only people she'd ever know were them and thier acquaintances. Her marbly stone legs slowed her down but she was always determined to keep up.
"Granddad where are you taking us?"
The trees all began to look the same after a long while of walking.

Charlotte was slow to react to the new sounds that her ears were picking up, still lost in thought about the lives she held. When voices reached her though her ears perked up and she stood still where she was, peering about anxiously. Had it been a mistake to stay on her path? Perhaps it was danger approaching and she just now put herself and her unborn foals in peril. Her nostrils flared, trying to smell the air and her eyes widened at the scent she caught. It was familiar but mingled with different smells she was unfamiliar with. She stood shocked and confused when a sight met her eyes that made tears sting them. Her father, at least a stallion who looked very much like him, appeared followed by a mare who looked exactly like her sister who she hadn't seen in just as long. Perplexed though by an armoured mare that was also in this line she figured this was the unfamiliar smell. She stood, unsure of what to do. Did she announce herself or just let them continue on? In the end she let out a small questioning whinny and took a small step toward the procession.

Akuba walked on amongst the trees flowers had began to blossom and soon there'd be more fruit,"here we are little ladies. If you'd like help reaching something just ask", he smiled at them,"now off you go!"
Unexpectedly looking at the two generations was a third mare who he thought looked like charlotte but her stomach seemed quite enormous, he looked straight at her but saw it as him being mistaken and turned away from the three young mares exhaling as he did so. He scanned the area ahead of him for the best shade providing tree.

Stripe remember this place as a girl when she had run away for peace, back then there was so much drama and 'Calon always purposefully made her feel as if she was the odd one out and didn't fit in. Her only escape was to run away from the torment, she couldn't say she didn't slightly resent Charlotte at the time either but things had moved on, they had all moved on, she had moved on and brought a wonderful daughter into the world.
Stripe followed her farther a little to a big tree.

Echo followed her family, she was aware of the unfamiliar mare in the distance but at first thought she helps no significance until she began to move closer. Echo turned her head and peered through her mask at the stranger but said nothing. The strangest thing was that she had a similar colour blue running down her back as her grandfather, she turned to her mother and then turned back to the mare and began to approach her.
As the mare was pregnant and she herself was made of stone she saw her as no threat.

Charlottes ears perked up when the stallion looked at her, sure then that it was her father, though before she could say anything, though she wasn't sure what she could say, he turned from her and continued on. Perhaps she was mistaken? But how could that be? Both of these soquili looking like her family members could not be mere coincidence. Perhaps it was her they did not recognize? She was no longer a small filly, or a terribly young mare. Here she was a fat, pregnant, older-than-she-was-when-they-left-mare. Perhaps they forgot what she looked like. That would be horrible. Her ears went back at the thought and had just made up her mind that it would probably be best if she were to just leave when the armored mare approached.

Nervously she watched as she neared her, her ears forward and ready to run if this mare thought of chasing her off. She noted the stripes so similar to her fathers and sisters and wondered if this was a family member. She figured it more than likely was, but since she had no idea who this mare was, and her presence was, for now, most daunting. She pulled out of her thoughts to attempt a polite smile at the mare. "I didn't mean to intrude..."

Akuba was trying to fight in his mind that the mare wasn't Charlotte or else something would've been said by now, besides she appeared pregnant and he knew his Charly would tell him about it...wouldn't she? He grumbled, sat by a tree and rested his chin on the soft mossy grass below, he again exhaled and closed his eyes so the light couldn't reach him. He knew it'd soon be his time to hibernate again, the summer was too hot for him and it was only the cold ice he enjoyed.

"Yay",Stripe exclaimed and bounced around like a foal, her tail flicked and swished all over the place. Since her heartbreak and since Echo she had learnt that he had responsibilities and had to grow up that little bit more.
Stripe jumped up and tore down the first fruit in her sights,"got some! I'm getting much better aren't I daddy? I remember this was much harder when I was a kid, I had to wait until it fell, ages I waited under those trees!"

Echo stopped her concentrated glare and raised a brow,"It was no you who intruded. You were here before us." She glanced at her eyes, she seemed to shade the pink iris her mother had. This confused her but she tried to look friendlier but couldn't summon a smile yet,"who are you? Do we know you? It's just you're looking at my mother and granddad as if you know them, there's a sense of fondness in you eyes." Echo shifted her rocky hooves and moved closer,"although I maybe mistaken. I'm sorry grandfather always tells me to introduce myself first, I am Echo." Her eyes shifted to her big belly,"wow", she stared at it like a kid would press it's face up to a fish tank. It was the first time she'd seen a pregnant mare up close before, the mechanics of the whole thing still seemed bizarre and confused her a little, in that sense she was a little more like her mother but understood better than her mother did at that age.

Charlotte's eyes widened at the younger, inquisitive mare and smiled. "You notice a lot, for being so young." She listened to the other mare speak and her eyes widened when she said her mother and grandad. "Well I am very sure that your mother is my sister, Stripe, and that your grandad is my father, Akuba." She paused for a moment taking in the news of yet more family and grinned. "Which would make you, dear Echo, My niece." She smiled and let out a small laugh. "I'm Charlotte, and very...very surprised to see my father and sister. I haven't seen them since they had gone when I was a young adult, much like yourself." She paused, loosing herself in thoughts of confusion and wondering if she should bring up the fact that she hadn't heard so much as a whisper from him lead her to believe she wasn't anything. She shook her head, deciding no it wouldn't be a good idea. Besides, with Devicius in her life, she was fixed and new. Charlotte came out of her thoughts to see the mare staring at her stomach with round eyes and gave a laugh. "They move a lot, and walking helps to settle them down. Which is very nice indeed."
