Ladon had been pushing this visit long enough, and seeing as he was doing better physically, it was time to make the call. Sitting on the futon couch, he had range up Zac. Billy had gone for a time. Ladon knew that he needed to get out of the house. Away from him, for his own good. The dark-haired boy could feel himself feeling distant again and didn’t want to lash out on Billy accidently because of it. That and he knew that Billy had wanted to get his paints. To further delay him, he had asked that, while he was out, he should grab some fresh oranges and maybe whatever else he might like for later. They rarely splurged now, cautious as they both were about living outside of their budget. Pickpocketing from civilians or not, they still had to pay rent and watch how much they spent.
With Billy away, he felt confident enough to call his friend. It was a simple conversation that said he would like to see him about some business matters sure that Zac would know what business they would be talking about, and that he was well enough to see him. Ladon was, more or less, at least able to see people now. He no longer looked as if he had been starved, thanks to Billy’s basic cooking skills and a large batch of chicken soup provided by Ashley. His clean bandages had made his wounds look clean, and with sweatpants, a t-shirt, and a hoodie, he could more or less hide the burns on his neck and ear. After many baths, he was clean as well, devoid of the smell of all the smells that had accumulated in that rat-hole that the BMC kept them in.
Giving Zac the address, as this was the first time Zac had ever visited him, he waited and got up to clean up the place as best he could (it was usually always clean anyways), and try and look…well, as if he hadn’t undergone any torture at all. Being occupied also kept him from thinking about what he had to say too much. It was already going to be hard.

The fruit basket was almost a given, it was that or chocolates but really, while they might have been a luxury after being held and tortured by the Senshi, somehow fruit just seemed like a better bet for Wolframite. He might have cooked something like a Casserole if he had the time or the will to visit his Mother's house but that was sorely lacking these days. The less he had to do with that particular soap opera the happier he was, and personal dramas were always so much more tolerable than hearing about -hers-.
"Ladon?" He called knocking on the door, "I brought someone to meet you as well, I'm sorry I didn't ask." He added hoping that he could be heard, he'd repeat himself if he needed to, but yes, he felt it mandatory that Wolfram meet his sister now that she was on THEIR side... he just hoped it wasn't too shocking.

Sabine was a tag along, not invited but she was pretty much told to come so..why not? She had nothing really better to do besides pester Ever, her new room mate. Grabbing her shoes she rushed out the door after her brother, hot on his heels. On the way she was given the man they were meeting Negaverse name and Civilian name... Ladon and Wolframite. The names along had caused the childish nature of the girl to shine through, plus.... they passed a store filled with stuffed animals. Something that caused Sabine to dart in before Zac could even realize. They needed to get Ladon a gift...
It was mere coincidence that the wolf plushie now in her arms had a bow around his neck, but for some reason Zac had seemed amused that was the one chosen as the gift.
Finally there, the girl, actually SHORTER than zink, peered up at the man whom answered the door. Waving her hand, she looked and gave a rather embarrassed "Hi!"

Opening his apartment door had taken some effort. With it’s many different locks and only one hand to undo them with, it took a moment of frustrated sliding and unhinging before the door was yanked open. Yanked cause the door tended to stick, and presented Ladon. The boy was actually just a bit taller than Zac by just a hair, though was by no means anywhere near tall. He was lank, slender, and boyish in the face. He was wearing a dark blue hoodie, the hood up to cover up his ear and the damage to his neck, and wearing gray sweatpants and socks. Since he rarely left the house, and only once or twice as Wolframite, he didn’t put on shoes.
When he saw Zac, he felt the lump in his throat almost instantly, and swallowed hard. “Zac.” He said, and noticed the fruit basic in his arms. “Funny. I just told Billy to pick me up some fruit. Thank you.” He then looked over to the girl that Zac had brought over. He hadn’t been actually thinking Zac would bring anyone over, and hoped he could still talk about the Negaverse with her here. “Hello.” Ladon then glanced at Zac, before stepping aside. “Come in.”
He watched the girl before clearing his throat again. “Zac, I hope we can still talk about….business. I have something important to tell you.”

"Oh...yes...ah, she's... new to us. She's 'seen the light' if you catch my meaning." He said clearing his throat slightly trying to imply a side swap but unsure if there were any others listening that should perhaps not hear.
"My... sister actually." he said carefully and glanced at his shoes. That would be news in its own right because he seemed serious, and when they met he'd been an 'only child'.
"Sorry if it's too much, it just seemed polite to bring something, it was that or chocolate and, this was healthier." He glanced at the battered hands and there was a slight pause at the hoodie before he asked. "W...where would you like me to put it, if you'd like anything I can ah... prepare it while you talk?"
He meant to say 'you look better' because by god he did at least, but all the same...

Following them inside as they were allowed in the house, she still clung onto the stuffed animal. "I can leave if you two need to talk im private, that is if you dont mind me wandering a little inside? Or showing me where to stay until your finished..."
Leaning over, she gave her brother a small hug. "Seen the light...yes. Oh!" She turned around, and still gripping the stuffed animal just below its front legs, she pushed the object towards Ladon. "My name is sabine, and this is for you!" She waited until it was taken, before tucking her arms behind her and backing up a step.
"...So uh, walking away so you two can talk business things."

He shut the door, putting up at least 2 of the man locks before giving up. Billy would probably hate him for not doing all of them, but he wasn’t about to struggle to latch the rest on. Turning, he gestured past the kitchen straight to the living room. The apartment was small, comprised of just the kitchen that was open to the living room. The bathroom to the left. The bedroom to the right, and an open window that lead to the fire escape. Two pots were outside, ready for flowers when the weather warmed. The window was closed now as it was a bit chill out, but the curtains drawn open. “No need to do anything.” He told Zac, not wanting anyone tending to him. He felt bad enough everyone was doing everything for him. Ladon usually took care of others. It was strange and upsetting to have anyone fetch him a glass of water or make dinner.
“You can set the basket there. “ He gestured to the kitchen counter as they walked past before they entered the living room. He had been very surprised to hear that Zac had a sister and that she was on their side. Not only was she a Nega, from what he assumed, but seeing the light made him a tad confused. Was she….he couldn’t be certain.
“If she is on our side and if it’s okay for me to talk about the business with our side with her here, then she can stay. Sabine, it’s nice to meet you.” He instinctively raised his hand and looking down, checked to make sure it wasn’t the one that was bandaged. It was, and he was glad for it. He could at least shake hands. He was surprised she offered him a plushie, and sharing that shock, slowly took it before offering a small smile. It was rather cute, and he noticed the bow. Drats. Was that getting around that he liked them? He hoped it was just a coincidence. “Thank you. You didn’t have to.”
He gestured for them to sit down on either one of the two mismatched chairs or the futon couch. He sat in a brown chair, moving aside the quilt he had been using when he fell asleep in the living room. He was prone to napping with the mediation he was taking.
“I had some …something very serious to tell you.” He set the plush wolf on his lap, looking at the pair of them before looking more seriously at Zac. Guilt riddled his features.

He put the basket where he was requested to, glancing around the place not only to assess the living quarters but also that he might assess the exits. It was not a casual habit, it was one he was trying to develop without seeming like some kind of sneak thief, though in a way he was.
When Ladon followed up with the hesitant and grave words though - that made Zac go rather still, like a cat who just caught sight of a large dog that it knew well to be wary of. Several breaths passed before he moved again, careful and watchful as though he were waiting for senshi to squeeze out from between the chair cushions.
"Go on..." he said carefully studying that guilt ridden gaze with an detached and measured pale blue of his own. No judgement passed no hints that he would be likely to go to the kitchen for dangerous objects or anything violent. Just a very polite "Go on..."

Well damn, if she had a knife she could probably cut the tension between the men, pull out a chunk, and chow down on it. Sabine was now settled on one of the unclaimed chairs, leaning forward her elbows were on her knee's and her chin on the palm of one of her hands. Ladon had said if she was one of them, which now she was, it was ok to be here... so she did not make a move to remove herself from the conversation.
No matter how much she wanted to explore, it would have been rude to raid his personal belongings!
Sabine was just happy he seemed to like the stuffed animal... this would have to be something she did often. Make a friend? Meet someone? Bring a plushie. Why? .... Well clearly Ladon liked it why wouldn't everyone! Sitting in her little corner of the room green eyes watched the pair of them, plotting what animals to get Ever and Zac.... Also instinctively she knew this was their time to speak, not hers. She would be quiet.

A coward could have not called. A coward could have let Zinkenite find out on his own by some word of mouth from some senshi or whatever source that Zink’s idea had been found out. Considering several lieutenants were now gone, the blame could be easily placed on them. However, Wolframite could never make those poor officers look bad when they had died under the cruelty of the senshi. It was wrong, and he would be no better if he didn’t fess up to his own mistakes. That didn’t mean he was happy to do so.
The poor wolf in his lap was being fiddled with, it’s ears pinched as Ladon’s good hand worked up his nerve. There was no nice or pretty way to admit this, so he decided just putting it plain and simple would have to do. Again, he wished he was more eloquent with words and that he knew some way to deliver all of this more tactfully, but that was yet another area he failed at. “During the time with the senshi, I told the senshi we had a database.” He looked at Zac. General Zinkenite now. His superior.

"Ah..." Zac said looking introspective.
"Ah... I see... well, that gives them very little other than the knowledge we transported a -cork- board to the Dark kingdom and stapled it over with note cards."
He flashed a smile, there was still trouble in his eyes but he was pushing it down and away, boxed up in a neat little parcel. "If they were going to find out anything...I'm glad it was that. After all, I doubt they haven't already taken similar measures... they would be foolish not to." He gave a small shrug and tried to make the smile wider but it did falter.
"Did you tell them who was collecting the information may ask?"

"It makes sense to keep a database of both sides... i mean the more you know your enemy the easier you find their weakness... So it shouldn't have been a surprise to them we have one?" A pause. ".... Oh i mean!" Clamping a hand over her mouth, she looked at them with a red face and apologetic gaze. Eyes wide like an owls for a moment she locked gazed with them, and then away. Her own bruised face was finally healing, the swelling of her eye going down enough that she could open the eye to its full size again. Which was good for her, but not really relevant. "Sorry sorry..." Standing up she bowed at them both. They were having a serious conversation, and she intruded.
"Uhm, yes. Please excuse me....." With that, she was gone almost a second later....a blink of an eye. With a swish of red hair she ducked into a room with an open door.

He was about to say that there was no need for Sabine to leave, and was even more alarmed to see her head off into his bedroom. True, it was neat, tidy, and the only other quiet place she could escape to that wasn’t the bathroom but there were….things in there he didn’t want people to see.
However, he couldn’t’ well call her back in when he had something more serious taking up his focus. He did feel slightly relieved that it was being dismissed as something that should have been figured out by now, but when the question was presented if he gave a name, he tried to think. Had he told them who maintained the board? He…he wasn’t entirely sure. He had been more in a delirious frenzy and had been staring at that blade. The one that had cut his cheek and had been ready to strike into his skull.
“I….I don’t think I did.” He looked down, trying to think what exactly he said, but he wasn’t sure now. “…I think I didn’t.” His voice alone said how unreliable that statement was. They could very well have Zinkenite’s name down on a little note with ‘Database Manager’ beside it. If that really meant anything to the senshi, then Zinkenite could be have some unwanted attention. Somewhere, Ladon imagined a similar cork board in some building the senshi gathered in. Zinkenite would have been moved up, recognized as a serious threat.
And where was Wolframite on that board? Probably not even on it.
“I’m sorry, Zac. I’m not sure.”

"Ladon... it's a miracle that none of us have been targeted in our homes yet... that means that...each and every one of you were far stronger than I think I could have been under the same circumstances. Whatever you are worried that you might have said... I think we are all far more grateful for what you were -brave- enough...and strong enough -not- to say."
"Let them know... let them wonder if I do this on my own or if my whole team is part of this, they will never be able to wipe out what has been started so even if they had my name...it's a useless token. A non combatant for the most part who...scurries around taking notes and making ridiculous little plans... nothing more."

If they were at all listening, a "Eeeeeeee!" Would have come from the room as the girl was like a child in a candy store. So many plushies! So formal looking...old... beautiful. Something in seeing them all like this struck a cord in her, similar to the one she felt in the toy store but...on a grander level. There was a Circus bear, and even a leopard or two! The thing that made them even more amazing... they were all decorated in clothing or some sort of bows.
Call her childish, call her stupid.. but the sight of all these things being in one collection, one MASSIVE collection... made her happy. A few select animals she approached and reached out for... almost as if seeking permission to touch them. "They are so cuuuute." One she zoned in on one in particular, a floppy eared rabbit. It was solid white with black button eyes and pale pastel pink lined ears. It even had pink paws! It wore a simple bow around its neck that was carefully twisted to one side. It was dark blue.
Unable to resist... she grabbed it and held it close. The was not really interested in the bed room... more of less trying to avoid the conversation outside at hand. How can she add input when...well. She knew nothing besides minor pokes and prods?
