Cael wasn't usually one to party in broad daylight, but to be fair, he hadn't really chosen to attend this one. The street party had absorbed his neighborhood, and there was really nothing else that he had going on. So he had dressed in his most daytime appropriate outfit, tight black jeans and a long-sleeved black shirt, and sipped on his Coke, mingling listlessly around. Not far away he see his mother blushing by the punch and his dad glaring at everyone from behind the curtains..
There was a problem though. This was fun, and an easy way to get out of the house, but... the people were so dull. He knew who his neighbors were, and they were just as uninteresting as they had been last week, and the week before that, and the week before that. There were no new people to meet, no one with his interests or around his age. So instead of giggling around and socializing, he was leaned against a lamppost, sipping at his drink and looking on with a pout. Why couldn't anyone interesting show up...?

Caprice shimmied his way into the neighborhood, and with wide shot eyes, took a look around. Who knew that a street party could look so fun! It was a welcome relief to him when he'd accidently stumbled upon the gathering, and a fortunate turn of events when he found out they had food. On his old block, everyone had been too busy with their own lives and worries to really care about something so 'stupid' or 'frivilous' as this, but he found it heart warming.
With a smile, and a compliment here and there, the adolescent soon found himself standing infront of the most glorious, stupendous, amazing thing in the entire world; a buffet. His tail swayed excitedly behind him, wings flared out just enough so that he could snatch up a plat full of goodies before turning around to sit on the side walk. His gun metal eyes shone for the briefest of seconds before he dove into the food.

And just like that, his prayers were answered. Cael's eyebrows shot up as the pink and wine colored boy sauntered past him to sit and feast upon the food offered. A slight smile graced his face, and without hesitation he went to sit next to him. He tossed his Coke can into a trashcan as he walked, and smiled charmingly at the boy. No effort was made to conceal how his eyes climbed over his body.
"Hey there. Haven't seen you around here before. I'm Cael." The crowgoyle glanced at the plates of food and chuckled, stealing a green bean to nibble on. "Do you live around here, because I certainly haven't met you if you do. And that is a shame..." He chuckled again, wings fluttering coyly. "What's your name?"

Nothing other than a pretty face could cause Caprice to stop eating, which explained why he sat his handful of nameless goodies back onto the plate. It was obvious that the younger boy was checking him out, and per usual, Caprice's vanity appreciated every last inch of it. His stunned face turned into an easy going grin.
"Cute name, Cael." The hybrid turned his body so that no inch of his wings could block his view. "Here? Nah, I'm just here for a little food, and some company." He balanced himself with one hand, while the other ran along the length of his tail. "What if I don't want to tell you my name?" He tilted his head coyly. "Anyway, what are you doing here? I can't imagine that this kind of thing is very fun for someone like you."
