Come one, come all to the most government oriented part of PotS! Here at Big Brother... good or baaaad? we are trying to make a difference in people's political tendencies. No longer should we straight party ticket! No longer should be just vote for the name we recognize because it is plastered all over the town! No longer shall we vote for the people with the most babies in their commercial, or who stared in a bunch of help the less fortunate ommercials and ignored the starving child to tell you about their political views! *Ahem* ... Here at Big Brother... good or baaaad? We want to have healthy discussion on government policies, new and old, corrupt politician ( without flaming them, or bringing up things that have yet to be proven. ), and most of all, possible people who are running for office that could very well be good for our down trodden economy. So, I welcome you all to Big Brother... good or baaaad? The number one government discussion area in PotS. Announcements: April 23rd, 2011 Big Brother... good or baaad? is now officially open! Also, next time your state has an open vote ticket, such as to pass laws for your state, feel free to post them here so we can all see them, and hopefully help you make a great decision when you cast your vote! ( We do not endorse people under the age of 18 voting in elections. )

lolz, basically this is a place to give your view points on political happenings, and such. But it strictly adheres to the Gaia ToS and the PotS rules and regulations.
Also, derogatory terms such as Left leaning and Right leaning are not allowed, because just those phrases make people hostile somehow.
anyway, have fun, and talk about politics, laws being made in your area, or even just give out answers for the BAR exam*!
( * DO NOT GIVE ANSWERS TO THE BAR EXAM. THIS IS VERY ILLEGAL )

xD The BAR exam is what you have to take to become a lawyer. it is basically a test of government terms and cases that you have to know if this happens, then this will always be the outcome.

No, If someone runs into a building, Like a movie theatre, and yells fire, then you should sue the person who yelled fire. not the building, or the person who trampled you. Because the person who yelled broke a severe law, The clear and present danger law. It is stuff like that. It is actually a lot harder than it seems.

BluewolfofMibu Oh, alright...so long as it doesn't get too crazy. If I see things getting out of hand, I'll lock this page...kay pumpkin? blaugh That's my job! Fun stealer! scream ~ Personally, I wouldn't sue anyone. Seriously, suing people helps nobody but the lawyers. The guy you sue loses not only money, but if they're a big group, they get bad publicity, possibly losing more money. You lose money paying the lawyer fees, to the point where by the time you win you've spent more than you get. But the lawyer? He loses nothing, and gains everything. It's a retarded cycle. James Sokolove should be ---- ... Nevermind. Edit: Plus, in that example, the guy's already locked up someplace for doing it, why throw salt in the wounds? ~ How is left leaning and right leaning derogatory? If you're left leaning, you probably don't care that someone thinks you're left leaning.

Hinote Tosatsu How is left leaning and right leaning derogatory? If you're left leaning, you probably don't care that someone thinks you're left leaning. There not, but people with soft egos that debate politics don't like to be labeled.
I agree with the not suing people thing... Just bash them one good time, it will make you feel better than a long drawn out law case.
