Smoke detectors were handy things, they let you know when there was smoke, and also when there was fire; However, the presence of such things had not gone unnoticed by a certain girl with baby-blue hair. Said girl seemed to have a knack for cooking--if by cooking one meant burning and/or setting fire to and/or rendering most things inedible. So when, after another attempt at not destroying any resemblance a meal once had to edible, and failing miserably, the oven began smoking profusely, and an alarm went off. Izumi ran into the kitchen and opened the oven door, which released even more smoke, resulting in her coughing and promptly exiting the kitchen. Shortly after, some sort of small cylinder on wheels, with something like small trumpet on the front, came barreling into the smoking room and blasted the oven with extinguishing foam. The lanky young woman sat on the floor right outside of her kitchen, frowning. A blue light appeared behind her, staring out from a white body. "Dum..." "Yeah- Looks like we're going out tonight... open some windows, let the smoke out." --------
It was a bit of a drive, but Izumi enjoyed driving in her personal shop van--she used it to not only deliver orders, but to get around town in awesome white-abduction-van style. There was a semi-nice place to eat outside of the part of Camphoreon she lived in, and she felt like cheering herself up with something nicer than fast food. That was how, sometime in the afternoon, one particular restaurant ended up with a girl with a blue hair, circuit tattoos, a metal hand, and a beldum sitting on the table watching her eat in their midst. It was all very interesting.

It wasn't simply people that would find the blue-haired girl interesting.
A petite Umbreon with unique pink markings had spotted the intriguing girl and the oddly colored pokemon on the table from the entrance of the restaurant, and she promptly bounded over to investigate. With a graceful leap - if by graceful you mean struggling with back paws flailing - she managed to get up onto the chair before plopping down. "Breee," she trilled to the human and her pokemon, and tilted her head curiously as she inspected the girl. What intrigued her most wasn't her clothes or her hair, not even the metal on her arm - which she simply assumed was/dismissed as some sort of glove, her owner wore gloves sometimes - no, what interested her most were the lines all over her. What were they? Was she sick? Was it some sort of disease? Did they move? What were they?

The curious-looking girl had just lifted a forkful of delicious mashed potatoes to her mouth when a pokemon, who wasn't hers, jumped up onto one of her table's chairs; There weren't any mashed potatoes left on her fork for long though, and they didn't end up in her mouth either. A startled cry later and the mashed root lay in a pathetic lump on the floor. "Wha- Who- Um... Shoo?"

"Bree?" She trilled again, tilting her head curiously at the blue-haired person. The strange Umbreon leaned closer, studying the lines all over the girl's arms with rapt attention. She'd never seen lines like this on a person before, and to say they were intriguing to her was probably the biggest understatement of the century.
"Anastasia!" The name was spoken in a huff, making the named flinch and turn to her owner with a guilty look. The just-turned-17-year-old appeared by the table with a disapproving frown, wearing a short pink dress with black lace and accents - and matching shoes, of course. Her wavy brown hair was loosely pulled from her face and secured with a black ribbon, and in her slender arms she held a very small, shiny-colored Absol. The baby creature peered up at the blue-haired girl and the white pokemon with large gold eyes, her expression curious and wary at the same time. "Anya, it's rude to interrupt people while they're eating. Get down," she ordered, and the Umbreon obliged with a sad churr. The girl turned to the young woman for the first time with a dismissive partial-wave of her hand, hindered due to her young charge. "She gets excited sometimes and runs off. Anyway, wh--....um.. Why do you have a metal arm, and what are those lines all over you?" Seriously, what was this? Did this girl even know what she looked like? ...Arceus, she didn't get all that on purpose, did she? Horrible. Absolutely horrendous. Definitely a fashion don't.

What was going on today? First a little fire, then a strange pokemon, and now some girl just came up to her and started asking about her arm and tattoos, and not at all in a nice way. She shrank back and stared at the girl, silvery eyes frozen wide, like a deer in headlights. "U-u-um... I-I- U-um..." The young woman moved her arm under the table and held her other against her shoulder. What did she say? Why was this girl harassing her out of nowhere about this? Wasn't that rude? She would much rather have the pokemon interrupt her while she ate than this. "T-tattoos..." A tiny voice managed to squeak out. There was no answer on the arm.

The nervous stuttering was met with a questioning lift of one slender eyebrow. Well, she'd seen people at school that had nervous stutters before - sucks to be them - so she merely released an inaudible sigh. If she had any more humility she might've felt bad, but since she didn't, it was just a minor annoyance instead.
"...tattoos?" She got tattoos of.. lines? All over her? Why the hell would anyone want that? Her other eyebrow rose to match its twin as she gave the strange girl a nearly incredulous look. "..why would you get tattoos of.. lines?"

"T-they're circuits..." The tiny voice answered, though it seemed to be trying to retreat into itself. "Um... I-I'm eating..." Please go. She wanted to say, desperately wished she could demand to know what this girl's problem was, why she was being so uncivil, but Izumi was by no means the type of person to do such a thing.

"Circuits?" She repeated, eyebrows returning to the one-up-one-down position as she studied the lines - the circuits - with a rather skeptical expression. Why would anyone get lines - circuits - tattooed all over them? Weirdo. "What are circuits anyway?"
The tiny Absol in her arms switched her gaze to the white thing, her gaze still curious and cautious. Even if her person and the black pokemon at her person's feet were curious, they still needed to be careful. This blue-haired person and her white pokemon could be dangerous.

"Th-they're the things in computers a-and machines that c-carry electrical current... I-I really need to eat..." What was wrong with her? Did people just go up to other people and ask them questions, was this normal?
The white Beldum on the table finally turned its blue gaze on the human, ignoring the pokemon, and narrowed the shutters over its eye-light. "Dum."

"Ohh." Well that explained why she'd never heard of them before - just computer stuff, she didn't need to know any of that junk. As long as her stuff worked, she was good, and if it didn't, she just paid someone to fix it and went on her way. There was no need to know any of it. "That's kinda weird. Why would you actually want that on you.. I'm not stopping you from eating, go ahead," she said with a dismissive wave of her hand. Man, this girl was weird. So was that thing on the table, but she was more focused on the girl rather than her pokemon.
Isabella, on the other hand paw, squeaked slightly and curled up in her owner's arms - which was rather difficult, since said arms were mostly wrapped around her middle and left her lower half dangling. Still, her nose hid behind one arm, wide golden eyes staring at the white pokemon.

"Oh-no-I..." Izumi's lower lip puffed out and her face grew more worried than it had previously been; Apparently this girl was really bad at catching hints. "I-it isn't weird... it's cool..." She said quietly while pushing her mashed potatoes around her plate. Suddenly Izumi wasn't so hungry. "W-why?" Why did she care? Izumi liked the way she looked, and most people didn't really give her any trouble about it, though she did normally get some second glances at least because of her arm.
The pokemon on the table clicked and whirred irritably, clearly displeased at the other human and how she was making his owner uncomfortable.

"It is?" Oh dear. First she was just one of those girls who had an uncontrollable stutter, and now she was one of those girls who thought stuff like that was cool. Clearly there were more things wrong with her, poor thing. Not that Sera had any pity for people who had no sense of fashion, but at least she had enough sense - or maybe manners? Ha - not to press it further. It wasn't nice to upset unfortunate people like that on purpose. "So you like computer stuff?" The pokemon on the table was completely ignored by the girl, though the Absol in her arms kept her attention riveted to the pale thing.

"Y-yes... and machines..." She squeaked out before managing to eat a few small bites of her food. Izumi was cool- everyone at the club thought so; At least that was what she thought. "W-why do you ask...?" She recoiled slightly, nervous after venturing to ask the girl a question instead.
Wheatley turned his attention to the ball of fur in the rude-girl's arms. There were two eyes staring at him, why was it staring? Why was it so small? Weren't those things normally bigger? "Bel..." He hummed, maybe doing some calculations.

"Machines?" What did she mean machines..? "Like ATM machines?" Obvious first thought - money related.
Isabella's eyes widened when she noticed the white thing staring back. She was no longer curious, especially when it made those weird noises. Why was it making those noises? What was it going to do? ...was it going to eat her?
"I asked 'cuz you got those circuit things all over you, so you must be into computer stuff." Duh.

"Um..." And Izumi was the weird one? "It's just ATM... A-automated Teller Machine... A-and yes? B-but not just those... D-did you need something?" Maybe this girl had been by her shop, seen the 'out to lunch' sign and decided to come find her personally to hire her for something. That would have been really odd...
The blue-haired woman looked at a piece of meat on her plate and, deciding that she really did want to eat it, brought the metal arm out from under the table to hold her knife while she cut it into smaller pieces.
Two shutters closed over the white-thing's eye, briefly cutting off its stare. The pokemon didn't make any obvious moves to eat the Absol, but it didn't make any indication of anything, really. It just watched.
