The cab pulled up to the Raffle L'ermitage Hotel, which is considered to be the most elegant hotel in all of Los Angeles. Shiiba pulled out a few bills out of his pocket, and handed it towards the cab driver. The cab driver nodded, and gave him a pleasurable smile towards Shiiba. "Thank you sir." He said as Shiiba handed him a bit too much for a payment as this was the first time he was actually within the states. The cab driver put his yellow cab in neutral, and popped the trunk. He went around to the back to help remove the bags from the trunk. Along the way two bellhops came running outside while pushing a cart. They took their bags from the cab driver, and put them into the cart.

Shiiba was carrying Lark on his shoulders, and walked slowly into the entrance behind the bellhops. Shiiba approached the counter, and a the receptionist who was in her late twenties. "May I help you?" The woman asked Shiiba. Shiiba responded, "Do you have a room available?" The receptionist looked down at her computer screen, and began typing ravenously. "Ok, well it seems there are a few rooms open. All of them suites. Is that ok Sir?" Shiiba nodded. "That will be fine." He said grabbing his wallet to pull out a platinum card in it. "Gift from the boss." He said giving it to the receptionist to pay for the room. "Ok, everything looks in order, Sir. You'll be in room 104, The bellhops will help you with your bags. Here is your room key." She said handing him the room key. Shiiba also held up a twenty dollar bill. "Also can you hold an additional room key for a young lady that may come here asking for us in a little while." Shiiba said as he was walking away. "Ciao." He said as he waved towards the receptionist.
