I miss field marching so much I miss not having a life, I don't realize how much I enjoy it till after the season is over and I have nothing to do. I just have to wait for june and than we start with mini band camp. Who else is excited?

We aren't out till june 17th, but we didn't start till after labor day so thats why.

You're lucky! Iget out on the 17th of May. I'm so excited for summer because of band but scared 'cause I'm getting closer to graduating.

My last day of school is tomorrow. We have marching band tonight but I'm going to practice for the color guard tryouts that are right after instead since I'm not going to be here for the parade everyone else will be rehearsing for. biggrin
|

Our first rehearsal was yesterday. :] I'm really excited for this year- I'm section leader, it's my last year, and I know that I'm actually good at marching (the beginning of last year, I thought I sucked XD)! It's gonna be a great year. =D
As for our last day of school...all I know is that it's sometime after June 11th.

My last day of "real school" was actually yesterday. We took final exams today, and we're finishing the final exams tomorrow.

Tomorrow's my last day of school...man I don't want to be a junior yet. crying
But I can't wait for band camp. I'm going to be section leader!

Next week is our mini camp which is to get all the 8th graders to know the basics I can't wait it's when we get our music and it's so relaxed and fun... I have I metioned that I'm so excited we may actually get 2 trombones, my excitement is uncontrollable
