He hadn't been a part of the catastrophe that had happened. He hadn't been amongst those captured, nor had he been a part of the rescuing party. It hadn't even crossed his mind until he'd started hearing whisper of it and, even then, it all seemed so sick and surreal that he wasn't sure what to think.
What did that little b*****d get me into? What did I get myself into...
Lieutenant Richterite shook his head slowly as he appeared in one of the many twisted, cavernous halls of the Dark Kingdom. He took a moment to get a 'feel' for things before picking the direction to turn in. While he still wasn't all familiar with this new world, or even his new life, there was one energy pattern that he did recognize and that was the one that he was seeking out now.

For the most part, his energy signature had been rather...elusive. It teased at the corners of Nega radars, but seemed to disappear if they ever sought it out. Richterite had likely felt this frustration before.
Today though...today it stayed still. Off in far out corner of the Dark Kingdom, away from most prying eyes save the occasional passing youma. Scheelite had taken up temporary residence there, furiously scribbling away in a sketchpad and oblivious to the approaching energy.
Which was good, because it meant finally Rik could catch up to him and ask what the -hell- was going on.

"Alright, Troll." His arms crossed over his chest, eyes narrowing as he did his very best to impersonate one of their mutual friends (failing a good bit at least in part because he was a. taller than she was and b. lacked her impressive rack), hoping to at least catch the other boy's attention for a moment and distract him enough that he wouldn't just poof away again.
"No running this time, alright? I caught you fair and square. Not interested in the pot of gold, I just wanted to make sure that the rainbow was okay, savy?" His brow quirked, arms uncrossing as he stepped closer to Scheelite.

Scheelite literally jumped, which was quite the impressive feat when he was sitting on the ground. Expecting to be met with massive boobs, it was a somewhat welcoming sight to see Richterite there instead.
Somewhat.
The blonde shut his sketchbook, shoving it behind his back as he steadied himself on his feet.
"Uh...rainbow's fine dude!" Despite the bandages around his neck, and the startled way he eyed Rik, and the way he had just retreated away from everyone to think about things for a while. Yeah, he was a-okay.

"I call bullshit. Would you like to know why I'm calling bullshit?" That pale brow of his was still lofted as he stepped closer to the other, movement kept slow and steady as though he expected the Captain to simply bolt at any second... Which, given the way he'd jumped? He might.
"You're hiding in a corner with your crayons. Kids only camp out in corners when there's something wrong and they're waiting for someone to come find them. How do I know this? Because I've done it... I've also been the kid that no one came to find so, like it or not, here I am." He held his hand out to the other, ready to help him up to his feet whether he liked it or not.

...Right. He might have hid the book, but he had left hit crayons on the floor. Literally. There was definitely a box of crayons there, and if anyone cared to notice it was missing such key colors as Screamin Green and Brick Red.
One day he'd get a new box and give the rest of these to Tanz's arm. One day.
Scheelite hesitantly took the hand, which was at least a good sign he wasn't going to run off this time. Still, he looked unnerved and panicked, but there had to be some way to calm him back down.
"I...it's...it's just been a crazy few weeks, kay?" One hand unconsciously went to rub at his neck, acid eyes flicking to look anywhere but Rik's face. "Just...crazy. Thats all."

He kept a hold of Scheelite's hand for a moment, giving it a firm squeeze as though that would somehow reassure the other. For all that the Captain outranked him, and was responsible for him (his being in the Negaverse, at least), he felt as though he could take the moment to be the responsible one... For the moment.
"Tell me about it..." He shook his head slowly before releasing the other's hand so that he could lightly take hold of Scheelite's jaw, tilting the Captain's head towards him. "No, really. Tell me about it. If it makes you feel better. If it gives you your bounce back. I don't think I could do another taco run with you," the thought of seeing anyone eat that many tacos again in one sitting was enough to make his mind boggle and his stomach churn, "but we can get big, greasy burgers and never ending fries. You just can't stay here, even if it's safe, even if it's home..."
Home...
"How is anyone else going to find their way here if you're hiding away?"

Scheelite tensed up when the hand went to his jaw, and even more so when his head was turned and he was forced to look Rik in the eyes.
"But I..." He pulled back suddenly, pulling himself free of the other's hold. "It's not something to just be talked about. Stuff happened, you know? And it's crazy and I don't know what I'm doing and that's what I'm trying to figure out."
And for a moment it looked like he'd shut down and walk away, not even entertaining the thought of leaving and maybe actually -talking-.
"...Never ending fries? Really? ...Maybe with cheese?"
Well bad food had always been his weak spot...

"You're doing the best you can. Isn't that what we're all doing?" He look at the other for a moment longer before gently releasing him as he stepped back, voice soft when he finally spoke again. "I'd heard that some real crazy s**t went down... A bit of word here and there about some senshi being a lot sicker than we'd been given them credit for."
He snorted at that, shaking his head once more before turning, ready to drop the subject if that's what it took. "Just cheese? Man, I was thinking some bacon too. Not the little bits, though, that crap you throw on salad? No. Real bacon cooked and crumbled into bits and tossed over fries smothered in cheese... Then, once you've got some food in you we can go somewhere, you and I, and maybe you can show me what that guitar of yours does, huh? Or I can show you a card trick or two." He smirked.

"I'm not doing the best I can though. This...I belong on a different path. Still here, still with the Negaverse, but there's a different thing I can be doing for them and I need to figure that out. I will figure it out, I just need some time..."
He went silent, moving to gather up his sketchbook and the crayons. Why was he keeping things from Rik? He deserved to know...really he needed to know. The Senshi were dangerous, the Blood Moon Court even more so. Scheelite had brought Richterite into this, didn't he owe him a warning into what kind of craziness he was getting into?
Wouldn't he have to tell the new recruits everything he could, if this really -was- the path he wanted to go down?
"I'll...tell you, because crazy s**t doesn't quite explain it. I know this place that has awesome burgers and all the fries you can eat, and they totally use -real- bacon on their fries. We can go there, take over the back and talk? There's a game on tonight so the rest of the place will be pretty loud and rowdy, but the back doesn't have a TV...no one will fight us for the seats and no one will hear us either. Kay? I'll totally play my guitar after, and you can show me all the card tricks you'd like."

"You're not going to find that path hiding back here in this corner with your scribble pad and your box of crayolas." He watched the other for a moment, a look of sad understanding working its way over his face as he nodded.
"Port us there and then we'll power down; make ourselves comfortable, eat 'til we're stuffed and do all that sort of stuff that teenagers are supposed to be out doing... Then, when we're tired of all of that, maybe we can hustle a bit of energy here or there. Do our duty to both of our alignments, eh?"

"But I'm scribbling ideas. That has to count for something right! Riiiight?"
A hand fell on the other's shoulder, and then they were gone.
It was but a few moment's later that the pair appeared in an alley next to the place Schee had mentioned. After a quick mental check for any nearby energy signatures, the captain let the rainbow marked hoodie and jeans of his civilian clothes replace that of his uniform. At least in these clothes he could pull up his hood to hide some of his uncertainty.
"Ready when you are."

He teetered on his feet for a moment, pushing down a feeling of nausea as he wondered whether or not he'd ever get used to teleportation. Maybe it would be different once he could do it on his own, but for now it just left him feeling sick.
He made a face as he powered down, lightly brushing his fingers down the front of his shirt before running those same fingers back through his hair, giving Demetri a light nudge. "Let's go. I could use that burger." He smirked.

"Alright alright, sheesh!" The nudge got him moving, and the blonde quickly led him inside and to the back where there were indeed free tables. Quite a few of them actually! The front of the place was filled with shouting people as they watched the game on TV.
Perfect talking environment.
Table chosen, Demy slid into the booth and waited for Rik to do the same. A moment later and their drinks had been ordered, and the pair was left to ponder over the menu. Not that they really had to ponder too much. Which led them to...
"So uh...what do you want to know first?"

"Anything and everything you're willing to tell me about what's been going on; why you've been hiding away." He nodded slowly as he pulled the menu out so that he could browse over it, already having an idea of what he wanted to get (beyond the fries) but figuring it couldn't hurt. Anyways, it would give him something to do other than glance over at Demetri and hopefully it would be less of a distraction to the other boy.
"That's what friends are for, y'know... The whole listening thing. Not to mention that, thanks to you, we're family now." He smirked, actually glancing up at that, eyes dancing.
