Chrome frowned as she waited patiently by the sea. She wanted to show him how good she had gotten at catching shrimp. Hmpf. Stupid boy. He still thought of her as a kid these days. But she wasn't! She was a grown adult now, and ready to show him what she could do. A smile flicked across her lips as she thought of the friends she had made over time. Jack and Aiken, Hiyoko and Erik, all foxes she wanted to prove something to. She was not a small little furball anymore!
And to prove it, a pile of shrimp laid beside her. She was determined to show off, her paw even bleeding from hitting the side of a rock in an attempt to catch a shrimp. She wanted to prove to him that she wasn't a kid, and he should stop seeing her as one.
Because she didn't want him to see her as a kid anymore.

Erik had separated from the two vixens that he had met weeks before. He had found them interesting enough, but he wasn't the type of fox to stay in one place for that long. So he moved on however he started to think about them and wondered how they were doing, and since Hiyo didn't seem too enthused to see him again, he figured that Chrome might receive him better. Stepping out of the forest, he looked out to the beach and spotted her.
It was still slightly a shock to him to see the little kit all grown up, and he had to look again to be sure. Her hair was so long, when did that happen. He blinked and it was almost as long as her body.
"Chrome....." He called down to her, cocking his head to the side as he smiled at her.

Chrome turned when she heard a voice, smiling at the male before her. Her tail wagged, throwing her hair over her shoulder and approaching the 'Deava, bumping noses with him before bouncing to the pile.
"Hi Erik~" She cooed, winking at the male before giggling softly, pointing to the pile of shrimp. "This time, I'm the one who has dinner." Her tailed wagged faster, pawing at the ground and hoping he'd be happy. Thats all she wanted, to please Erik.
When Hiyoko had asked her who her crush was..... well... it was Erik. Though she had let Hiyoko go and flirt all she wished because she knew one day she would have alone time with Erik, a time where she could admit how she felt.

Erik looked at the vixen surprised as she bumped noses with him. This was certainly more of the greeting he had been expecting beforehand, but still it slightly caught him off balance. He was more used to foxes being afraid of him, but Chrome didn't fit that normal pattern. Something that he was very glad off.
"Dinner?" He cocked his head to the side and spotted the shrimp with a sly smirk forming on his face. "You seem to have become an apt hunter little star." He smirked as he looked up at her, "Is that all you can catch? Or have you tried bigger game now?" He challenged her, pleased that she was able to catch food but wanting to assess her overall ability as a huntress.
Chrome had not been an adult for very long, therefore she was wondering how she was fairing out here on her own. Having spent much time with her as a kit he had to admit that he had become quite fond of her.

Chrome smirked at the male, eyes flicking to glance at the shrimp. "No, I've caught a young deer before, and other forms of fish." She mostly had gone after fish now that she thought about it. Fish pleased the vixen more than regular meat, though she did enjoy the chase of trying to capture the deer. Her eyes flicked back to Erik, narrowing playfully. "Are you challenging me?"
She smirked at the male, moving to the pile of shrimp and peering into the water. She flicked some at Erik, careful with his flames, and laughed.
"Alright, mister. Lets see who can catch the most fish by the sun sets down." She mused, glancing at the lowering sun. It wouldn't be longer than a few minuets, right?

"Perhaps?" He eyed her as he circled around her, smirking lopsidedly as he made not of her assets and flaws. Then he spotted and looked at her, "Are you returning my challenge little star?" He chuckled softly as he looked out at the water and grinned. "Since you were nonspecific to the terms then I accept your challenge."
Determinedly Erik walked to the edge of the water and dipped in his paws, making his flames sizzle as the water evaporated around him. The water was shallow enough that it could not withstand his flames, and as such the fish that was surrounding that shallow bank was left flopping on the shore. Smirking in victory he looked back at Chrome. It was an underhanded trick, but an effective one.
"There....I win...." He counted his fish to see that he had collected exactly one more then she had.

Chrome scowled at the male, blinking at him in disbelief. The sun hadn't set yet, and if he was up to dirty tricks then so was she. She marched up to his pile, grabbed two fish, and tossed them in her pile, smiling sweetly at him. "I win." She cooed, tail lazily flicking back and forth.
"What? I grabbed them, technically, I got them. Its not against the rules." She grinned at the larger male, protectively curling around the pile and waiting for the sun to set, sticking her tongue out at Erik. She was not one to just give up. She was competitive at best.

Growling at her, Erik looked over at her pile of fish and plopped four of them into his mouth and swallowed them just as the sun set. "I never lose...." he looked at her critically. Did she really think that he would be out cheated? That was not likely. He wasn't someone that was accustomed to loss and he wasn't going to start now. He got what he wanted, when he wanted it. And if people didn't like that it was too damn bad. He was a Daeva and not afraid to get aggressive when the time called for it.
"Looks like you still have a ways to go little star." He smirked at her.

Chrome cooed at the male, humming to herself before dropping her stolen fish on the ground, glaring at the 'Deava hostility. "Oh, is that so?" She purred thickly, almost as if she was flirting with the male. She noticed the small flickering of fire-flies, turning to smirk at him.
"How many fire-flies can you catch without killing?" She questioned, flicking her whip like tail and knocking a crowd of fire-flies onto the ground, however they twitched, beginning to flee from her. Quickly, she flicked her tail once more, capturing the bugs and holding them under her long tail.

Erik arched his head as he looked at her. "You want me not to kill fireflies but to capture them? To what purpose little Chrome. What skill will that prove." He watched her with mild interest, then looked away like the task was beneath him. "That does not show skill at all." He rolled his shoulders back as he flapped his wings, "The mark of a good hunter is how much he can kill, not how little he can hurt his prey." Regarding Chrome coldly, "I am a Daeva catching bugs is beneath me...."
Walking over to a cold slab of marble, he laid down and held his head high as he watched the sunset. There was no need for him to prove himself to a little slip of a girl. He was better and that was a fact. He was male, and he was a Daeva. Those were facts. He was better, stronger, and more clever.
( sweatdrop Erik is coming off very arrogant today)

Chrome snarled at the male, head jerking away to glare at the fire-fly. "Only a truly skilled hunter could catch a fire-fly without killing it. It shows restraint." Her head jerked to the side once more, eyes lowering to the ground. Fine, he could be snappy all he liked, well, she would have to get back at him. Her ear flicked, moving closer to the 'Deava, grabbing a pile of leaves with her paws, and shoving them in his hair, darting off.
"Did I mention the loser had to pick leaves from their hair?" She mused, sparkles falling to her feet. Absently she wondered why Hiyoko had fallen for this male. Why he was so special? She enjoyed his company, but, Hiyoko had been in love. She couldn't understand.
((Wanna throw in the boy to flirt with Chrome?))

"it shows nothing in fact....other then you are incapable of finishing off your prey. There are two kinds of people in the world....the prey and the predator....I have never, nor will ever, be prey in my life." Erik turned a slight glare over to the female. But when she took the leaves and pushed them into his hair, that was the last straw. She was no longer a kit, and as such he would allow her no more liberties. Growling, he shot up and quickly pinned her to the ground.
"You do not want me to see you as a child anymore, well you have your wish...But I do not allow ANYONE to make a mockery of me. So if you are going to be in my presence you will show me the respect that I deserve and not play these silly children games Chrome." Erik's eyes bore down into her as he growled. Then he released her and looked away as his wings flicked in irritation. Mical had been wandering around the forest for hours. He wasn't really hungry, and he was bored so he had been attempting to find something to do. All in vain of course. Because there didn't seem to be a lick of fun for miles around. Sighing, he puffed out his cheeks. "Well hell....ain't there a foxy lady that I can talk to....or a kit I can mess with?" He feigned a disgruntled face as he comically fell to the ground.(I will do that)

Chrome snarled at the 'Deava when he pinned her down, glitter attaching to both him and the ground around her. Her tail whipped out when he moved away, slapping him across the cheek harshly. The vixen sat up, brushed herself off, and gave him a level glare.
"If you demand respect than heed your own words and give me respect. I did not harm you in any form, only placed harmless leaves in your hair. There was no reason to resort to violence." She snapped, eyes narrowing further, long hair falling down her shoulder and into her face, messy from Erik's attack.
"All you have is brute strength, but you lack the speed and brains to follow it. This is why I challenged you. What, do you feel out of your element now that you cannot prove your strength?" Her ears flicked when she heard a male voice nearby, eyes suddenly casting a flirty haze. Oh, well~ Maybe she could find a male more fun than the 'Deava.
"How's there?" She cooed, deciding to ignore the 'Deava for now. Hell, maybe he'd become annoyed and show some feelings for once.

"Out of my element?" Erik regarded her slightly, then looked away. The little chit wasn't worth his time. And he had originally thought that she was different from all the other brain-dead females that he had met before. She was nothing more then a flirt that couldn't commit to one partner before moving to the next. Mical looked up at the sound of a female voice, and a hot one to boot. "Hm?" He cocked his head to the side, "Well hot damn..." He looked the sparkling female up and down, "Ain't you a sight for sore eyes darling?" He gave her a flirtatious smirk before looking back at her face. "What's shaking baby?" The Daeva watched the exchange with increasing irritation. Did males so openly express themselves to the opposite sex, it was degrading to say the least, and infuriating on a deeper level. Erik felt his claws digging into the ground, imagining that they were sinking into the throat of the little parasite that was talking to HIS Chrome.

Now, Chrome was fairly pleased when her eyes flicked over and saw Erik digging his nails into the dirt, a sly smile on her lips. Oh ho~ Was he perhaps jealous? Well, she could use this. She did want Erik to be hers, all hers. So, perhaps a little game would entice him to her? What else could make him lower his guard and let the sparkly vixen closer? A competition, and she had noticed that was what drove him. She glanced at the other fox, letting out a flirty smile to respond to his own. He wasn't bad looking at all~ Not as handsome as Erik, but not bad!
"Mmmm, just looking for some company~ You know, trying to find someone to settle down with~ With a body like this, it isn't to hard, but, its hard to find a handsome fella such as yourself. Then again, maybe I can have some more fun before settling down. Have some stories to tell, ya know?" She moved closer to the male, wrapping her tail around his chin and sliding it back to herself, grinning seductively.
