It had been one of the few energy signatures that hadn't made him disappear from the Dark Kingdom immediately upon feeling it. Zinkenite was allowed to approach, allowed to find his partner huddled in a small room far from the usual traveled paths of their subspace scribbling away in what looked like a sketchpad. The General only got a glimpse of the words "birthday" and "surprise gifts!" before it was shut and the blonde glanced up at him. Situation given, Scheelite was on his feet and traveling with the other back to where his temporary charge waited. It still felt odd, thinking that Lyra was one of them now.
No...Beth was one of them. Though she wasn't really Beth any more either now was she? It was all so damn confusing.
Nonetheless, the next person to enter Lyra's temporary room was her one time nemesis. Back before they had often met with accusatory pointing of the hands and threats thrown at each other. Now the Captain simply wandered in with his sketchpad in one hand and a big bag of tacos in the other.
"Er....hey there!" Scheelite gave a sheepish wave, before shifting the sketchpad to his other hand to free it up to scratch at the bandages around his neck. So itchy argh.

As the man walked out of the room... the first one, It left Ammolite... confused. Curious, confused, but... believe it or not? A little scared.
She had no idea who she was... only what she was. What she would become, what she would follow... all these expectations. It was a bit overwhelming, really. So when the second man opened the door, she jumped again. Something similar to what she did with Zinkenite, she looked defensive.
"....Who are you?" A familiar question, one that she had a feeling she would be asking a -lot- recently.
She DID smell food though... her eyes traveled down towards the bag.

...Man that was a weird question to be asked. He knew her memories were gone! Really! But they had gone so long fighting and...it was just very odd to have that all wiped away. A clean slate, really!
This time they'd get off to a better start, that he promised himself.
"Name's Scheelite! Captain Scheelite. Zink sent me here, said you'd probably like some company while he went off to do some things? I could use some company too actually." He was a social creature, so hiding out was...odd. But this could do him some good.
"Zink..you know him, yeah? He said he was just in here with you...he's my partner! So I promise I'll take care of you, nothing to fear while I'm here!"
He walked a few steps closer, acid eyes following her own to see where her gaze led. "Oh! Are...you hungry? I've got a huge bag of tacos here, I don't mind sharing!"

"Oh.. oh okay so you are in the 'dark kingdom' as well." She murmured to herself, settling down remembering there was nothing to fear from them.
Moving towards him as well, she eyed the bag once more. "I wasn't really until the smell of food wafted in here..." It had been afterall over 2 days since she had last eaten, refusing to eat the food right before corruption occured and right before that the huge battle. Not that she remembered any of this anyways.
"Names L.... Ammolite." She corrected herself with a blush and a smile. "S-sorry... this is all so new to me. Its a pleasure to meet you, Captain Scheelite. Zinkenite is my brother..." She tacked on at the end, he DID say she could mention it here right?
"Would you mind if i took one?" Maybe that was partially why she felt like crap, she felt like she could eat a taco army at this rate! She was being polite but she really kind of wanted to tear into the good smelling food...

"Ammolite? ...I like that name, it sounds pretty." Of course he also knew her by Lyra, but maybe this whole different name thing was part of her corruption. He'd go along with it, just to be safe. "Well it's uh...awesome to meet you Ammolite! I'm sure we'll be working a lot together in the future you know? Through Zink, probably, but hey if you ever need anything don't hesitate to find me okay? I'm totally here for you."
For all Negaversers, but especially those on 'his' team, and Zink's by proxy of course. Besides...he adored Beth! It was just Lyra he had to get used to.
"Go for it, here!" Opening the bag Scheelite quickly fished out one of what appeared to be many tacos and offered it out to her. "They're my favorite food, hopefully you like them too yeah?"

"I guess we will find out!" Lyra honestly had no clue if she liked tacos. Another thing she could not remember, she liked the smell! She remembered the smell at least. Taking one thankfully, she eyed the bottomless pit of taco bag. Good lord that was too much food for two people! Oh well, unwrapping one she took a single bite.
Oh!... yes, yes she did like these. Thankfully the soft shell taco was being nice to her and not THAT messy... she finished it off rather quickly. Looking down... she reached for a second, looking up a moment before taking it as if asking permission. "These are rather tasty, i remember these." Just eating that single Taco gave Ammolite a ray of hope, while faces she could not remember...actions it seemed she could if she tried. She would just need to experiment and find out what she was good at and what she was not. it would take time.
"I really appreciate it Scheelite... the food and the offer of help. Its so confusing i dont understand a lot, though i have to ask. Why are you being so nice to me? I mean.. not just you. Zinkenite im guessing because he is my brother... but he also seemed to be so upset."

"Eat as many as you like!" The Captain ushered her back inside so they could sit down and enjoy the tacos, rather than stand around and awkwardly look at each other. Awkward described this pretty well. Old feelings still lingered...but at least they were quickly making way for new feelings. New positive feelings. Schee had always thrived on the positive.
Scheelite had nabbed his own taco to dig into, and the blonde sat and contemplated his food before deciding to answer. Besides, it wouldn't be very polite to answer with a full mouth.
"Zink is just...worried, you know? He'll be okay though, I promise! I've known and worked with your brother for a while...he'll get past it and be totally fine, so don't worry about him!" Though Scheelite honestly was worrying about Zink too, there was no need to drag her into it right? If she really had no memories, it'd just be one more thing to weigh on her mind...
"The Negaverse is my family, I uh..don't have a normal one, like you and Zink have... So I made the other officers my 'family' and I take care of them like one would their true family. You're part of that family now, which means you have my full protection and friendship of course!"

She did too, taking a bite out of the next one. She was a growing teen... even for a girl her size, she somehow put away food. Shuffling back into the room she settled down in the same seat on the couch as before. Laying one hand on her skirt, she made sure to finish one bite before speaking again.
"I hate that i worried him though you know? I can assume it was me... he seemed so...twitchy. Is he always like that?" She headtilted, naive. She did not even know her own brother....
"Thats.. really nice of you. Should you be welcoming me in such open arms when, well... we just met? Zink mentioned something about us once knowing each other, but he didnt go into many details. Just that someone he trusted would be here soon."

Scheelite sat nearby, setting the bag of tacos between them so she could easily nab another if she wanted. "He's...not always so twitchy, no. It's just been a rough couple of weeks for us and he's a little worn down. I promise you he'll be okay...and I always keep my promises."
His first taco finished, he nabbed another before continuing on.
"We knew each other before, but that's in the past. We used to fight...I don't want to fight anymore, especially not you. But I do know you, and I was there when you were erm...brought into our little family."
God this was hard! He really wasn't sure what, if -anything- he should be telling her about the past. For now it was best to be vague, right? Just focus on the tacos and the happy stuff!

"I just... its like walking through a field of dandelions when they are white. I dont remember anything. I dont feel anything about people anymore. I pretty sure as hell didn't remember you, you look like a new person to me." She was still even with ehr chats with the two of them, confused.
"I honestly am trying not to freak out here." She gave a nervous laugh... taking another bite of the food so she didn't have to speak again.
And to shut her stomach up, it was rumbling, she could hear it!
"Well i hope he feels better soon. I dont like seeing him so upset..."
"...Hey Scheelite, do you have a nickname? No offense but... your names quite the mouthful. I forgot to ask Zinkenite the same thing."

"You don't want to remember the old stuff...trust me. You're in a much better place now! So I know it's probably all unnerving and weird, but I think you'll be really happy here... Look to the future, ya know?"
Schee wrapped an arm around the other's shoulder, flashing her a grin as he tried to do his best to reassure her. Family, that's what they were now, which meant she fell under his protection...at least in his own mind.
"We can build new memories, okay? So I'm a new person...well I'll just be the best new person to you I can! I think I started off pretty good with tacos yeah? As far as a nickname goes...you can just shorten it to Schee if you'd like."
Mispronounced as skee of course. Like hell he was telling anyone to call him 'she' all the time.

Ammolite was introduced to Scheelite as 'skee-lite', so that would be also how she pronounced it. After all, he would know how to say his own name right?
"It looks like it is all i have right? Build new memories..." Blinking from the touch momentarily she tensed, before releasing that tension. Why had she tensed up? Oh well.. must be just scared for a moment there. The red head leaned into Schee as well. "I just."
"...I feel like i should be panicking by this. Upset, scared, worried... but for some reason? Im not. Maybe.. maybe the panic has not set in yet."
"Schee, how long have you been with the dark kingdom?...How old are you? ...How old am i for that matter." She drew her eyebrows together, curiouser. She did not even know her own age. Grasping her new long hair, she pulled some of it forward and ran her fingers through it.

"It doesn't need to set in. You'll be fine, promise. Though I guess it's pretty understandable to be concerned about losing memories..." Hell, how would -he- deal with it? Probably not very well... "But it'll all turn out for the best! I know it will!"
Before he probably would have pulled away from the other. But not only was this Lyra...this was Beth. He could let go of all their past for Beth, couldn't he?
"I've been with the Dark Kingdom for over a year. Year and a few months actually. I was fifteen when I joined, but I'm sixteen now and I'll be seventeen in July." The next question made him frown a bit, if only because he didn't have the answer. "I'm...not really sure, but I think you're the same age as me and Zink, so you'd be sixteen too? You'll have to ask him to be sure though, he'd know that answer better than me!"

"Sixteen huh..." She head tilted at him. "...Why am i so short then." He was seriously gargantuine to her, he was at least 8 inches taller than her. She was seriously the same age as him? Good lord.
Rocking back and forth she looked towards the ceiling, wondering. So many questions... so many un filled holes. She needed to plug up the black with something. Taking a final bite of the taco, she was not hungry anymore. Ate too much actually.
"...this may sound stupid but do they..uh... have a bathroom in this place?"
"...Or anything?" She kinda wanted to wander....

"I dunno...didn't eat enough tacos to be tall? Zink's short too though...maybe it's a family thing?" The captain shrugged, sitting back as he thought over the next question.
"....I actually haven't seen a bathroom. I bet if there was one here it'd be kinda pointy, and not comfortable at all." Scheelite paused a moment to gesture to the rocks all around them. "There's uh...some halls...other rooms. Throne room where we gather, blah blah you know, stuff! I can show you around if you'd like? Though I recommend avoiding the throne room for now..."
Like hell he wanted to just walk in on Beryl while he was being somewhat of a slacker.
