The snoring of her lifemate woke Shaman from a rather delightful dream envolving herself, her mate, and water. Frowning a little bit fiercely and shooting Enqueri, her mate, a look thinking he had woken her up. But once the sleep started to clear away she had realized it was the sound of the world around them waking up; birds chirping, animals moving from tree to tree, and other creature making such a recket communicating with themselves that it made her wonder why it hadn't woken Enqueri yet. Shaman rolled her eyes at her mates ability to sleep through things at time. Shaking her head as she got up Shaman decided to start on her day without her mate.
Yawning as she walked out of their hidden cave in the mountains she looked around her for something to do, as she didn't want to wake her mate up. Tilting her head she looked up to the sky, beautiful and blue, which brought a smile to her face. " I guess I can head for the watering hole for a swim or explore the forest a bit more until he's awake." She decided out loud before she began moving away from her home.

Victoria walked a long the path that led from her garden to a river that was just outside of her kingdoms borders. The day had been uneventful and she wondered when some excitement would show it's face to her. Life had been rather crazy as of late due to her starting over in a new land and taking over her grandfathers herd that he had left for her when he died. She had been ruler of it since winter, but she hardly had any followers and she knew that soon she would have to venture out into the Kawani lands to find some. However, she had no idea how she would get people join her and she also knew that she couldn't do it all on her own. "Well this is quite terrible indeed." Victoria said to herself as she reached the river. "Why oh why must my day consist of nothing?" She asked the wind and tree's that surrounded her. Her mane was tossed gently to the side and her tail hung as gracefully as she could manage since it was so long. Victoria wondered what she would do with herself once summer came. Summer, it seemed so far away. Victoria was surprised how much had happened in such a short time. It seemed like yesterday Jacqueline's basket had arrived at her home, and then she was a foal, and then an adult. Now her adoptive daughter was off on a journey to find herself and to also get over her anxiety. However, Victoria knew she would not be able to get over it. "Ah, but the journey will teach her things about life and about others that I could not." She said with a nod and a smile before she dipped her mouth into the water.

Deep in thought she almost missed the sound of trickling water, like a lapping. Near the watering hole already, she had gotten there quicker than she had expected. She didn't have her mates heightened sense, well more heightened then normally of there breed--oh. A pink mare with what looked like angel wings on her body and her mane looked like it was glowing. Hm, there weren't many strangers that came about in Enqueri and her territory but it was nice for a change of pace to have a female to chat too. That is unless this female was mean-spirited which Shaman highly doubted.
" Why hello stranger," Shaman spoke in a welcoming tone, deep and calm. A sudden gust of wind blew Shaman's wild mane and made it even wilder; tangles and curls abound. "I see you found the watering hole. What brings you to these lands? Have you traveled far? Are you alone?" She asked question after question before she realized her attitude as well as welcome maybe overwhelming. Not to mention the fangs in her mouth may have scared the other one. " Also, please don't be afraid I mean you no harm."

Victoria hadn't noticed the arrival of the new mare at the watering hole. Once the mare got her attention with her greeting, Victoria raised her head and replied in turn. "Yes, hello indeed to you as well." She said with a kind smile. "Yes, I am very sorry if I am drinking from something of your's." She said with a sheepish grin to show that she was indeed sorry. "Oh! No, actually just beyond those bushes," Victoria turned her head to the right. "Is my kingdom. I just need a short time to get away and mull over my thoughts." Victoria said returning her gaze to the mare.
"Likewise, I am no threat to you. I truely do not know how to even fight." She said with a laugh. "How useless I am. I can't even defend my own herd, although, I have knights to that for me so I guess it is not so bad." A smile crossed her muzzle once again before she continued. "Do you live near by? Are you alone as well?" Victoria looked down towards the water this time, contemplating if she would take another drink. However, she wasn't sure if the other mare would take it to be a sign of rudeness so she returned her eyes to the mares. "I'm Victoria." She said with a nod.

" Oh psh! Don't be silly." Shaman smiled and giggled before rolling her eyes. " Water belongs to everyone, though try telling that to my mate. Sometimes he can be so silly about territory and I just tell him that he needs to relax a bit more which sorta leads too me blathering on." She paused before whispering the next sentence. "Which I think he secretly likes to listen to me go on and on- whoa! A kingdom you say?" Shaman's eyes widen as she wandered closer to the unknown-mare. " Are you a princess or queen? I have heard some stories on royality and the schematics on the royal history but never have I meet one before... that is unless you are not a princess."
Shaman took her time to pause there before taking a drink of water before looking up. " Oh good! Well good that you are not a threat, but not so good that you don't know how to fight. That could be dangerous when venturing around these lands or so Enqueri, my mate, tells me over and over again. Yes, I actually live a few miles upstream in a cave with my Enqueri. Sure he is grumpy but he makes my life complete. A pleasure to meet you Vict-" Suddenly a crack of thunder was heard over head. "Oh dear! I think we should head for shelter, it looks like a storm approaches. These months are so unprectible, one time is gorgeous out and then next BAM stormy. I am Shaman by the way. " Shaman spoke as she headed for higher ground. "Come let us have a nice chat down by the water. I could use an ear for chatter even if I don't know you that well! Shaman was always like that and chatted with any or all who would listen. This would be a nice day after all to spend doing nothing but talk.
