Satomei left earlier in the morning, when dawn was just starting to brighten the landscape. Her three bundles of fluff, also known as cubs but Satomei couldn't believe they were cubs, they were so darn tiny, with her mother and siblings. Aiko knew that she had left, because that was just the type of observant mother Aiko was, so Satomei knew her cubs would be well looked after - even without her being there.

It gave her a second to breath, a second to think.

Her fling with the rouge male, and her subsequent fleeing from her home pride to live with her mother as a rogue, had not been part of her plan. At all. She had wanted to grow up, impress her uncle and live happily ever after with a Royal or something, but life was not that kind to the fertile hybrid.

She was a single mother, being raised by a single mother, and living as a rogue.

The female hybrid lifted her face to the sky, her adolescent form still gangly but growing more graceful as she aged, as she walked across the grasslands. She was safe, with her family nearby, but still she felt...more free than she had felt within the confines of the pride. Perhaps her leaving was a good thing, even if it made her life as a mother that much harder.

Abla wandered toward the area that she knew well. Once blind she was now enjoying seeing things, she wasn't that sure when she got her sight back it had been a little while now however so she didn't exactly remember the exact day, exactly how long ago. But she was still very, very happy to be able to see everything around her that was for sure. That was very much for sure. However she didn't break the habits that she made because she couldn't see, she really enjoyed being able to wander around and see things that she had never seen but had walked by for a long time. It was a pleasant thing.

The goddess paused lifting a paw and moving her large amount of hair out of her eyes. Pushing it away from her face before pausing again. She could smell something in the air and she was wondering where it was coming from. He was curious about the fact that there was some one else around. She thought about it, it didn't smell like a lion, well... she wasn't sure what it smelt like at all, kind of smelt like a cheetah. She was pretty sure that it smelt like a cheetah but she wasn't that sure of what to think about it that was for sure. She grinned for a moment as she thought she caught the sight of another. It was... a hybrid it had to have been a hybrid she was pretty sure that was the only answer.

Something about this hybrid however drew her concern, she wasn't sure what it was but it did. She looked over at the lioness and then she wandered toward the female looking at her curiously before speaking up to the female. "Hello," she greeted with a friendly smile on her face. She couldn't help but to enjoy the company she really liked company and she was hoping that the lioness would also enjoy some company.

Satomei hadn't been expecting company on her walk, expecting people to have been asleep still or at least with their families - so she startled when she heard someone call out a hello to her. Glancing up, her eyes going slightly wide at the site of the lioness before her. Oh!

"Hello," she said back politely, but her eyes were glued to the wings that sprouted from the lioness' back. Wings? Who actually had wings? Didn't only birds have wings?

She paused. Oh. Maybe she was...a goddess? She could vaguely remember her mother speaking of goddesses before - she knew of them, of course, but she had never once met one. She was suddenly nervous, taking a step back although the female did not seem aggressive. Was there something she should do, since it was a goddess, not a simple lioness, that she was conversing with?

As Abla watched the other lioness she was just as confused at who she was. She had never met a hybrid before and even though she was pretty sure that the other female was nice she was still a little confused she had never thought about it before. How did she feel about hybrids? She stared at her interested but a soft smile was still on the Goddesses' face, she always tried to appear friendly and she was in a good mood she didn't want to scare away the creature.

She paused before she spoke up to the lioness grinning at her. She was happy to see that she seemed friendly but she seemed a little off. She thought about it and remembered what her brother was telling her about how some times wings were something that really scared some one off at times. She thought about that and then tucked them as tight as possible against her back and gave the lioness a soft smile. It was a sad smile but all of her smiles appeared to be sad. She nodded to the lioness returning the greeting. "Hello there young one."

The leotah peered at the goddess warily, and was pleased when she spoke back politely - seeming quite friendly. Perhaps she was a kind goddess? Oh, she really hoped so. She'd hate to be killed and leave her little ones with only their grandmother, although she knew her mother would love them like her own anyway.

"Enjoying the morning?" She asked, shifting still nervously - but less afraid of being mauled by the odd lioness before her. It was rare that she saw people up and about so early, even in her pride her Uncle and herself were usually one of the first to rise - usually to do patrols but even when she had not been with the elder cheetah, she had still risen early - simply to watch the sun rise over the pridal grounds. As a cub, she had hated rising early, but now it was simply part of her routine.

Abla was almost always up early, it was just the way she liked to work and she always worked like that. She really didn't have to sleep but she did enjoy it however that meant that she would get up bright and early and normally go to sleep late. She glanced at the female as she talked before chuckling and nodding in agreement.

"Very much!" She smiled brightly at the lioness before pausing and another soft smile appeared on her face. "Ah young one you smell like motherhood.": She nodded, she knew that smell before she had a little or two in the past but they went their own ways. She didn't know where they were these days but she was pretty sure that she outlived them, they were mortal cubs, and although it made her sad at times she didn't mind. She looked at the lioness the bright smile on her face still had a bit of a sad feeling to it but at the same time it was nice to knwo that the lioness seemed like she was in a good mood. Not worried that was good.

Satomei looked startled at the goddess' comment. She smelt like motherhood? What did that smell like? She wondered to herself, glancing down at her larger-than-cheetah paws awkwardly. Did she smell of cubs? Of worry? Of gross incompetence?

"Three," she muttered to the goddess, explaining about her cubs. "They're with my mother, at the moment," she added, to make sure she didn't seem as incompetent as she felt - she hadn't abandoned them! They were with their grandmother, they were safe - she just needed some time to herself, some time to be a girl not a mother. "Do I really smell like motherhood?" She asked, self-consciously, shifting on her paws.

Abla looked at the female with a smile on her lips before then nodding to her. "Ah!" She giggled some before thinking about her old cubs thoughtfully. "I remember having cubs," she looked at the lioness and gave her a kind smile. "I'd have to say myself that it is a wonderful thing, young ones are interesting fun and good to watch." She looked up at the sky for a moment before turning to her once again and nodded at her. She looked at her and mentioned to her. "It's good to know that you have you're mother's support, having someone around to help is always good."

She noticed the lioness she seemed to be a little uncomfortable. She paused before chuckling again and nodding at her. "Well, yes. But no worries!" She flicked her tail around behind her and thought for a moment before speaking, trying to figure out exactly how to say it to her. "It's a nice smell, really." She chuckled for a moment before speaking once again, "it's not bad at all, hard to describe but nice." She nodded at the idea she could see the lionesses' worry and she didn't want to see that she knew it wasn't nice.

"You're a mother too?" Satomei asked, unable to resist. She'd never really thought of goddess' being mothers, but she supposed they must be, else there would be no new gods - or maybe they just didn't die? She didn't know, but she was curious over the goddess before her.

"I couldn't do this without my mother," she murmured softly, almost to herself, glancing down at her adolescent paws. That's why she had left her pride - her other family. She couldn't be a mother without her mother - it would just be impossible.

She tilted her head to the side, pleased to hear that 'motherhood' was apparently a nice smell. " I just never thought of it actually having a scent," she admitted, discreetly sniffing the air to see if she could smell this scent, but all she smelt was the various animals who had passed through the area.

Abla looked down at her paws before shaking her head. "I was once a mother, but my cubs were mortals." She paused realizing that the lioness might not know what she was talking about. "Gods live a lot longer then mortals." She mentioned just to make sure that she knew. She then paused and smiled sadly, her smile was a sad smile but it was even more of one now. "I miss them a lot." She admitted thoughtfully before pausing and looking over at her with a grin on her face.

"Mother can be some of the most helpful things out there." She laughed again with a nod then she looked at the young creature before speaking a look brightening on her face. "If I say so myself I think that you seem like you make a wonderful mother." She then paused again before speaking once more "There were many that don't really think of it as a smell but I guess you could say it's more of a mother thing, if you are a mother you know it a little better." She wiggled her toes before looking at the young creature, she was curious, "How many do you have?" She knew that everyone had different litter sizes and she also knew that the lioness was a hybrid and if she was a hybrid she didn't know how many cubs they had in a litter.

Satomei didn't realise what Abla was meaning when she said she was 'once' a mother. Weren't you always a mother? She thought, but her eyes widened when Abla mentioned the longer lifespan of gods, and she felt terrible. "Oh! I'm sorry," she mumbled, looking apologetic. "I'm sorry to have reminded you of them." It would just be...so sad outliving your cubs. Terrible, she decided, and suddenly longed to cuddle her babies close to her, but she didn't wish to seem rude by leaving abruptly.

She looked surprised at the compliment and shifted slightly, glancing down at her paws and then back up at the goddess. "Really?" She asked, her self-consciousness coming out rather plainly now. "I don't know...I mean, they don't even have a dad. Well, not an active one, they've got a dad somewhere just not...with us." She looked uncomfortable now, that she had admitted to having had a fling, rather than taking a mate like 'normal' people did.

She nodded, still looking a little skeptical that motherhood really smelt like anything. She'd never smelt anything that might depict motherhood, but she believed the goddess. Maybe she just had to be a mother for longer than a few weeks? "Three," she told her, when she asked about the number. "Two little girls and a little boy." Unbeknownst to her, a fond smile appeared on her face. She really did love her babies, even if they still terrified her.

Abla's sad smile was still on her face but then she paused and smiled at the lioness before nodding at her. "Don't worry young one." She smiled a little more brightly as she spoke to her. "It's something that I am used to, any don't worry, life is life." She knew that it would come along when she first had her cubs and she had to admit it was difficult to have it happen however on the other hand she had to admit that she really didn't want to have any more mortal cubs, but she really wanted cubs, really bad.

Abla shook her head at the lioness. "You might think that this is a little different, but I had a litter myself with out the dad around." She looked at the younger with a smile on her face, she couldn't help it. "You're going to be fine. I can tell you look strong, and you look like you can handle anything coming your way, you're still young." She paused and smiled at her once again, "You can handle this, you don't need a man." She winked at her playfully.

"Ah, girls can be tricky some times." She chuckled some before looking at the lioness and nodding to her. "You know, if you ever need any helpI can come around, that is if you would like, I really enjoy young ones." She grinned it would be nice to help out another mother and help her with her cubs, she knew that she would like to do it, she really did. She smiled brightly once again. "Alll you have to do is really think about it and I'll come."

Satomei nodded, still looking upset that she had reminded the goddess of her lost family, but she didn't say anything. What could she say? Satomei hadn't lost anyone before - the closest she had come was when she left her Uncle behind in the pride while fleeing with her mother and other family. She could sympathise, but she didn't know how it feels, so she kept silent instead, glancing down at her paws.

She looked surprised when the goddess mentioned being without a father. "So did my mum," she admitted, looking a little more comfortable about being a single mum. Well, if this goddess had cubs without a mate, and so did her mum, then maybe it was okay? "I never met my dad, but I don't care. I had Mum and her family." She looked embarrassed at the compliments, but pleased. "You think so?" She asked shyly, shifting, but casting her a warm smile. "Thanks for believing in me, miss."

Her eyes widened a tthe offer. "Really? Why would you do that?" She asked, sounding faintly suspicious. "You don't know me that well, why would you want to help me? Not that I don't appreciate the offer! But I'm just...why?" She looked confused.

"Ah, so you are among other strong mothers?" She asked before winking at the hybrid. "See you can do it," she mentioned to the lioness simply she was confident of what she was saying she knew what she was talking about that was for sure. She then nodded to the lioness. "Of course I think that. Us ladies are much stronger then we give ourselves credit some times." She chuckled she felt like it was pretty true that was for sure. She knew of many lionesses who could handle huge litters by herself and this young one seemed like she could also pull it off.

The Goddess smiled as she stared off thoughtfully. A large smile grew on her face, she couldn't fight the smile she would be more then happy to help any female that was for sure. "I would love to do that." She nodded at the idea once again before grinning at the lioness from ear to ear. "Well..." She said simply for a moment before speaking once again. "I don't see why not, you don't seem to be dangerous and if you really do need some help Id on't see the harm in helping out."

Satomei gave her a shy smile and nodded, still a little uncertain of whether or not she could be a strong single mother, but she would like to try, she decided, and her smile grew. "That's for sure!" she agreed. She had seen so many strong woman in her pride, and yet the men were more well known. She supposed the women in the pride were simply more subtle about their strength.

"Thank you," she said quite honestly, with wide eyes. She wasn't sure what she had done to earn the help of a goddess if she needed it, but she was grateful for it. She was grateful for whatever help she could get, considering her status as a single, rogue, adolescent mother. All the factors acted against her, but her support system was just amazing. "I really appreciate your offer." She gave her a warm smile.

She paused, and looked surprised. "Oh. I'm sorry! My name is Satomei. I can't believe I didn't introduce myself," she said the last sentence softly, flustered that she hadn't thought to be polite whilst talking to the winged lioness.
