Mokovu looked about the opening of the cave, this was his new home and his new life would start now. He felt fresh being here now trying to establish these lands as his own, and better yet he had a family to take care of. His recent fling with Weusi left him with 3 beautiful cubs. All of which he was proud to say he was their father. He would teach them all he has learnt, to judge by the spirit of others. He knew their mom would be gone but she had said she may stop by, till then he would watch them with his life. However he had a lot to deal with, he now had his family and the duty of establishing his pride. That would not stop him from being a great father though. He flicked his tail and perked his ears, trying to listen for little paw steps. They would be awake at any moment.
He felt his paws tingle, he could not believe what all his journeys had amounted to. He could not be more proud or more satisfied with his life.
Fuyu Eje Had recently met Mokovu in the mountains and has grown a close bond to him as a friend and adviser. He would help keep watch of Mokovu's new youngin. In fact Fuyu being so young but wise would be keen to play and talk to the cubs. He was a chick still himself, and he never really had other young ones to talk too. He fluffed up his wings playfully as he waddled over to Mokovu's side waiting for the cubs to come.

Saadii was a kindred soul. She, like her father had hoped was sensitive to spirits. The best was yet to come, as she too 'felt' many things. The world, she could sense it- feel it in many ways and so tiny. So fragile, she felt like a particle against them all. Her cute childish innocence taking a slight feel as she moved from under her brother and sister. Waking with a soft yawn as her eyes slid open. Mother, she didn't know one for now- but she was too young to fully know what she was without or not. Too young to know the dramas and the life of others.
As for her, hers was just starting.. Tiny fluffy paws tried to pull herself out but ended up giving up and laid there. Coiling again is a soft little ball til the others woke up- she was fine with that.. Going with the wind of things instead of against them. A soft purr erupted from her core though. She was among her siblings and family.. she could make out father's form just barely but instead she patiently awaited.

Kucheza Kivuli stretched impatiently as she soon felt suddenly crowded among her siblings. Her little claws stretched and then pricked into a pelt, she was unsure which sibling she had just poked but she didn't really care. She was a bit more feisty then her sibling but still tried to keep her temper controlled, her dad had always tried his best to make her understand others. Sometimes she couldn't help but feel a little bitter.
Her dad had tried to help her find her escape, a way to control that spirit that at times unleashed at anything near. She soon found her release through the beauty of dance. She was so sleek like the night when she movedabout and her blue eyes blazed as she studied every moment. She loved the way she could see the white and black of her pelt mesh and molt into one another. And more importantly she learned from her dad to learn from others.
She brought her attention back to the world around her as she opened her eyes. She was not certain if her siblings were awake but she was to impatient to see. Eagerly she got up and shook her pelt and looked about for the familiar shapes. She soon spotted her father at the mouth of the den along with Eje. She grinned as she went into a crouch and crept closer to Eje. She loved when he squawked in surprise. Her paws were nimble, eyes focused, and tail steady as she moved.
"Heheh.." She chuckled quietly to herself as she moved barely a few feet away from her target.

Castiel squirmed against the poke in his side, opening one blue eye to see his dark colored sister move off to torment their father's feathered friend. He huffed and rolled his eyes, Kucheza was always getting into some kind of trouble, and often times Castiel was trying to get her out of it, or get Saadii out of it when Kucheza's games went a little further than they should of. She was unpredictable at best, and it made Castiel very protective of their sweeter, smaller sister.
He turned toward the warm body of Saadii, and nuzzled her fur gently, reassuring himself she was safe and in one piece. "Come on litle bit," he whispered to her softly, " its time to get up. New day, right?" He nosed her, bumping his head under her chin with warm affection.
Castiel stood, stretching, before padding out of the warm nest of fluff and other bits their father had cobbled together for them. It would be time to eat soon, and he had to be sure he snagged both his and Saadii's share. He was never worried about Kucheza managing enough. With a calm dignity that seemed far older than his tender weeks in this life, he walked up to his sire, casting a glance backward at Saadii, making sure she followed him.
" Morning father, Fuyu," he greeted them politely, holding up his paw for Saadi to scoot under if she wanted too. It was slightly cool, and he didn't want her to catch a chill.

Fuyu Eje turned around at the sound of Castiels voice, only to meet the ice cold eyes of Kucheza. Panicked Fuyu gave a deep squak and flew into the air straight onto Mokovus head. "Kucheza you sneaky little..."His words turned into mumbles as he started to fixed his ruffled feathers watching Kucheza with a careful eye. He could not help but smile a bit at the young female, she was so different from the rest of the family. He saw the others and dipped his head. "Hello sir Castiel and lady Saadii"
Mokovu chuckled at Kucheza and Fuyu, they couldn't be any better together, he thought sarcastically. He started to wonder what it was about her that set her apart, she was definitely not afraid to say or do anything. He just felt as though she has a restless spirit. Yet her paws moved so well, like one of a well seasoned lion. This would make her a good hunter and fighter but for now he focused her attention on dancing.
His head turned to his son, Castiel, he was much like himself. So loyal and protective and very sincere. He had the purest souls of all, it made him proud to call him his son, he would become something great. And then there was young Saadii so caring and so elegant in such a frail way. She was sweeter then honey and he would know she would never hurt anyone and only care and love those around her. He smiled at the 3, all so different in their own ways. 3 spirits that all carved out their own destiny.
"Morning my cubs! There is a fresh kill waiting outside if your hungry" He said as he got up and padded out with a nod of his head. Soon he would be teaching them the essentials of survival. But for now he would let them be cubs, besides this place was their home and there was a lot to do. There were the numerous caves and underground tunnels and hidden hot springs. Most of their home was humid with a white cloud or filled with low clouds.
Kucheza looked at her brother with a angry glance, he ruined her surprise. He was always acting like he was their dad, even to Saadii, she wasn't a newborn anymore she can take care of herself. She padded heavily outside as her father mentioned food, her mouth drooled and she licked her lips. It was about time they ate, she was starving. She ran out and choose a nice juicy chunk of the leg, it was her favorite part next to the throat. She loved the fresh flow of blood and the feel of tearing flesh.
She took her piece to a rock by a little crack that let out steam from a hot spring. She gnawed at the meat hungrily. Her paws and teeth working in sync to eat away at the flesh and bones. The kill their father provided was fresh and plentiful, it would mean lots of bones left after too! She loved collecting the bones for treats for later or even to use for items or decorations. They amused her.

Castiel met his sister glance with an unruffled calm, his spirit born eyes showing neither surprise or fear. The young male had resigned himself to having to keep a whether eye on his dark sibling. It simple was what it was, and so he would approach the duty to the best of his ability.
The young male inclined his head to Fuyu, " Good morning to you Lord Fuyu. I take it you are well?" His tone was, as always, polite.
Castiel had this habit of always being soft-spoken, even when he was flaying into you verbally. He was getting quiet good at it, when he grew it would be very difficult to tell if he was humoring you, or giving you directions to hell.
He turned to look up at his father, a true smile on his muzzle, " Morning Father." Castiel got back up to his paws, nuzzling Saadii's ear, hoping she would follow so he could be sure she ate. He followed Mokovu out to one of the ledges and the hot spring beside. Waiting politely for his father to choose a section of meat before he got his and Saadii's breakfast.
He ignored Kucheza, he found it best too, or he'd lose his appetite. Kucheza may be his sister, and he loved her because she was, but to his young mind, there was just something off about her. Perhaps when he grew older he would understand, but for now, he'd simply watch and protect her as best as he could, just as he did Saadii.

Chi Sohma Alas, the others were awake and with her brother. A yawn escaped her but sound did not pass her lips. She looked up at him with those adoring eyes and smiles softly as she slipped next to him, a few steps behind him as they came up to the group. Father, and their utmost best bird friend. Fuyu. Bowing her head as her paw lifted in conjunction of her sister's presence. Lowering her body and retreating under her brother's paw. Quick to seek his protection as he gave it so freely. Lowering her head to her sister. Her voice was rarely heard if not ever. Quickly going behind her brother as they waited for their share in the feeding. She wouldn't mind not going without eating if it meant everyone else did.
A spirited soul, so quiet, innocent and fragile. That her very way of being was that of tender and feathers of light. Though she noted of her sister's oddity, she knew that she was different but still loved her like her brother did. Just, knew that not to trifle with her. Looking up to her brother with the silence in her face as he went on to get them breakfast. She couldn't imagen a life without this family she knew. Bowing herself to the bird friend her father acquired before coiling on top of a rock to wait for her brother's return to her side.

Fuyu Eje looked at the young male cub, such an admirable and well respected cub that one was. It was funny how each one was so different from the other personality wise. "Of course young Castiel, and I can see all is well with you too"He smiled at young saadii to who seemed so fragile compared to her siblings, yet her heart was as true as their father. "Quite a beautiful day it is
Mokovu smiled at his son and nodded giving him and Saadii a quick lick on the head. He didn't bother doing it to Kucheza knowing she would not even take notice. He made his way to the meat eying his daughter as she ate the food, he shook his head in part laughter and bewilderment. She was quite the more rambunctious and peculiar one for sure. He however took no notice of it, she was just a cub and was sure it would just pass as she grew.
He pulled off a good piece from the thigh and leg and made his way to Saadii and Castiel. He made sure that all his cubs would be fed well. He believed in the power the cubs had with the future. "Here you are, if you need more do let me know" He said with a smile as he looked around before going back out into the mountains. He had often been visiting this one cave the cubs were not yet allowed in, the reason he would explain later.
Kucheza gnawed away at the remaining bones getting everything she could off of it. When she was satisfied they were as white as she could get them she pushed them aside by the crack to gather them later. She watched her father grab their siblings food, she wouldn't be surprised if Castiel tore off Saadiies pieces and chewed them for her.
She gave a grin and laughed a bit to herself as she got up and made her way to the edge of her den. She claimed this small cave herself for when she wanted to be alone, there was something about this cave the others didn't know and she didn't intend on showing them. She walked out to grab the bones and carefully placed them inside her cave. She watched as her father left to his own cave, however his was much more important and she knew it. She wasn't allowed to go but one day she would see for herself.
She went to the back part of her cave where water trickled down the side of the wall and into a small pool. She laid down by it and watched it, her body felt so sore from yesterday's practice. She had taken a good fall when she tripped over her tail in one of the spins. However dancing was a past time passion for her, and when night came she would go out again.
